  1. i can't even hear the perk songs half the time. its so annoying. i don't know what volume setting to put my game on to hear the jingles. iv never heard tombstone's jingle but i do like double tap and the new whos who
  2. the perk is a pain in the butt to get once you lose it. My theory is that you have to get at least 40 perks drank with the new characters (so no survival) and then you can start drinking perks and going prone to get it but it still may take about 5-20 tries. why i say 40 times? in der reise you would get 25 points every time you did this. when you do cash back, you get 1000 points. if you divide 1000 by 25 you get 40. and other people were saying it was taking around 50 perks drank to get it once they lost it. and then i thought well it took about 5-10 tries to get it the first time and that was because we already had the 40 perks drank before. that is also why people thought in the beginning that you needed 100 perks drank because the number they came up with included perks drank from survival.
  3. even with just regular knife it isn't that bad. you run for about 4-5 seconds and then your stamina is out anyways so you are walking and thats usually when the denizen gets to me anyways. so traveling has never been a problem to me.
  4. well thats on 4 players. the whole topic was about solo. but yea you are right yea in my version you would probably had to shoot through some wall or something to get the 8 shots into the zombie. so yea this whole thing is not really practical but i just said what was shown. i usually get somewhere around 2k. on die rise i get the 750 to open the door and then build the trample steam and buy quick revive and by the end i still have 750.
  5. yea i would love to see how to un patch it. didn't even know you could.
  6. nice video, but was your buddy playing the whole game? I know I saw him sitting there, but that guy has some major balls just to sit there for 13 hrs and get less than 2k kills.
  7. relaxing end got over 800k in the first round. got some subs to give him all their bank savings.
  8. all you have to do is pop shot.... its simple. the reason i said it isn't that big of a deal because the zombies aren't really running away from you or in different patterns like people do in actual multiplayer (not zombies). in multiplayer you have to aim and recoil plays a huge part in the aiming process. most of the time in zombies you are doing trains and it isn't hard to kill a zombie comming right at you. just aim for the chest or something.
  9. never used tombstone so i would never know this. i think it had something to do with the fact that i was in the process of reloading and the perfect timing brought the gun into my hand while falling down.
  10. I also forgot, with the possibility of cash back you could also get another 500 (buy quick revive for 500 then get 1000 back) which would lead the grand total to 4090.
  11. lets just say the max is 8 shots. you can prob get more shots in a zombie if you shoot through a wall of shoot through multiple zombies. so on the first zombie you will get 8 shots plus 130 which would be 210 points. double points would drop and you would get 80 points for repairing. so thats 290. then 420 per the other 5 zombies. thats 2100 for the last 5 zombies. and the double points on the nuke would be another 800. 800+80+2100+210+400= 3590 (nuke, repairing, zombies, first zombie, carpenter) your math was wrong because you forgot the extra points from shooting.
  12. the spawn elevator would still be in spawn room. and keys will only bring the elevator to the top and not down. but this was a great idea using your first player as a way to make sure you have access to the restaurant box. but if i was to do this, i would have just done the quick revive method like i stated earlier and 5and5 restated.
  13. So I was playing town survival last night just messing around with some subs and i ended up going down eventually. it was like any other down at first, you notice that you went left when you should have went right. hit something that you usually that was passable and then 5 zombies are around you. I then started shooting my Hades shotgun(olympia upgraded) in hopes that a zombie might die and I might somehow escape an inescapable death. when I went to reload I went down and my Hades poped up when I was down and I had a full 50 shots also...
  14. they are zombies, not people with guns that have better aim then you, recoil shouldn't matter. just saying.
  15. I'm quite curious how you did it without passing tramps through the wall. You need the tramp to get back after you build the sliquifier but to build the tramp you need to leave the spawn. You can't get back once you leave but you need to go to the sliquifier via the main elevator which is in the SPAWN! My head is starting to hurt, trying to figure out how you did it. you can go from the trample steam room to the roof, and from the roof to the hole in the ceiling and from there you can get to two of the box rooms.
  16. well if we are killing ourselves then the whole thing is easy.
  17. that then use the jump down with by the stairs
  18. after reading this it took a while to see what the problem is, but now i see it, you want to build the sliquifier, but want to be able to get back to the top without turning on the power. and i guess just dying and respawning is out of the question. so heres what i would suggest. know your jumps. be able to know the shortcut to roof without the trample steam. if you don't want to know that, someone will always need to have a trample steam down to be able to get to the roof so you can have access to the box on the roof. building the trample steam won't be hard with 4 people, you would probably want to build that first thing. this way someone can always get back across to the spawn elevator. the only problem i see is finding out how to get back from the trample steam area to the pdw room. I have seen a video where you can place a trample steam down that teleports you back up to the pdw room. if you use that this whole process would be easy. but im assuming you wouldn't want THAT trample steam because its basically a glitch. i have also seen a tip from 5and5 where you can jump from a bottom floor to a top floor with an empty elevator shaft but haven't been able to replicate this. Actually i have been able to produce the a button saying click a to jump but when i push it it goes through the motion of me climbing up but i fall right back down. is any of the two things i listed a part of the way to get back up from the trample steam room? if not i don't see how to have the trample steam built and be able to get back up with 4 players unless u start the game solo where the quick revive elevator has power, then invite the 3 other players which is also an option.
  19. On solo you can build the trample steam in about a minute and a half. theres no need to do it that fast but its possible. heres how, you get 3 pieces on top of the qr elevator (which is on in solo) and ride down, build those three pieces and then ride back. get your last piece and hop all the way down. there is a reason you don't want to do this on solo. the elevator is at the very top of the skyscraper and you have to wait a good minute for it to get back down so you can get to the top of the skyscraper again. lets say 2 pieces are inside the spawn and the flag is right in front of the door way. get your second piece in front of the door while you wait the 20 seconds it takes for the zombies to spawn in. kill two zombies, open the door and move a piece up into the elevator, jump up and get the flag. then move the flag into the elevator and then just wait on the elevator. you can do it without the flag being outside of spawn but its a little harder. with two plus people you just have to open up the stair case area and fall down by the tower like the op said which is super easy once you do the method for a couple games. if you want some practice. move the parts to the top of the spawn staircase and practice dropping parts all the way down from the little jump on top of the staircase. that jump is harder so if you can perfect that you should be a-ok for the actual thing. heres a video if you like that kind of thing.
  20. The perk would be pretty good, but past round 13 the zombies pile up to fast to knife them anyways. the video shows how many knifes it takes in the high rounds.
  21. with what chopper just said, this would be a great jump if you are doing the easter egg and need the other 3 people (2 if you are doing maxis side) to get to the other side with their trample steam.
  22. nah.. treyarch would perfect this perk and it wouldn't be glitchy at all. you would spawn perfectly and everyone would rejoice at another perfect perk
  23. I touched on the ak74u in the video but im not sure if its a good gun to get if you are new to zombies. the placement of the trample steam is kind of tricky ( 2 out of the 4 times i have placed it down i fall down because i hit the ceiling of the buddha room.) plus you have to be able to figure out the maze system underground (lol) once you get that perfect, this place could be perfect for guns besides the sliquifer. the only problem I have had with budhha room is ammo and the problem came up around 45 right before a jumping jack round. i got trapped on an elevator on an ammo run to the svu. but this isn't a problem at all if you are using the sliquifier.
  24. So I know this is a little late, but I still think people would like to see a train tutorial on how to train on die rise because I still see the occasional guy looking for help on how to do trains. This video is cut into parts since I don't have the most fluent voice and I am just starting to learn how to do commentaries. Because of that and my limited time due to the last week being a pain due to the large amount of family birthdays in march, this video took about a week and a half to make. Its my largest video on my channel also and took over 12 hours to upload. Like I said the video is cut into parts, let me explain those parts -first the intro, not my best but something I threw together so I had something -just a voice intro and me telling you what the video is about -me explaining a picture I made and how to do the train. Some people like pictures to learn so I made one. -some more footage of the train in action and trying to show people how to do it. -me talking about different wall guns and gun choices to use in the buddha room -I also then talk about some different cutbacks that you need to perfect to be able to continually run the train (most trains will always lead into a zombie and if there is more than one zombie you may need to cutback and go around) -and then I talk about the 2 hit method that I came up with -finally I do a little review that I did with live commentary on round 2 with me just running around a little group of 5 zombies that is probably a better explanation of how to do the train if you don't have time to watch a 13 minute video. each part, even though it only took 2 minutes of time in the video, took about 20-30+ minutes to edit, get an actual good commentary, and make sure I didn't run off topic which I did a lot. I know this is a forum, but I would really appreciate if you liked the video and got it out there. : :geek: link to the video skip to 11:05 for the review if you can't watch the full 13 minutes
  25. sometimes when waiting for elevators with just one zombie the zombie might run away from me and i love it. because I don't have to worry about that zombie for a couple minutes.
