So most of you know that you can use your afterlife to power on objects. These objects that you turn on are usually all paired together and one single afterlife can be used to power multiple objects at once. Once you get familiar with the map you start to power things in groups and push the limits of your afterlife. Im going to help you even father so that you can get those easy things done first. What can be powered? Well there are multiple things that can be powered up once in afterlife. Switches: These can be found throughout the map to power doors that can't be opened without power to get to previously un-accessible spots or get those much needed drops that are hidden behind doors. Generators: There are 4 generators throughout the map every game that are needed to be powered every game. These include the three that get the piece to the plane and the one that powers the wardens key. Perks: All of these need to powered once and only once to gain access to. You can choose to power them up or wait till you return to alcatraz from the electric chairs. Once you come back from the gg bridge all perks will magically be powered. Miscellaneous objects: The one object that needs to be shocked is the first spoon. Another miscellaneous object would be the code box. ` So now that we listed what can be shocked Im now going to tell you how to do some of these things effectively. There are a whole lot of different combos that can be used to effectively use your afterlife. Different Combos Well in multiplayer you can get almost everything done in one afterlife if you have a teammate that will constantly "revive" you. So I will not show that but once since there are a whole lot of different things that can be done. Here is what I'm talking about: In that video I turn on 7 different things because I fly through the different levels of the cell block because of the height you can jump. I had my friend "revive" me and when I was done I actually had him revive me. But onto the different combos. Once you start the game I usually like to see if the wardens key is at the wardens office or by the cafeteria. If its by the cafeteria I like to do this combo: I will start by the wardens office, you will jump up, power the key, power the office, power speed cola, power the gondola, and power electic cherry. Here is a video: If the key is by the cafeteria, you can still turn on the gondola and electric cherry and get the showers open in one afterlife by using a secret spot that can be found in the following video. First you will go about 2-3 steps into the hole that can only be found in purgatory. then you will look up and see the switch that powers up the shower door. After that jump up to the bridge that goes back to spawn and then jump up to the bridge that goes to electric cherry. Be careful, because if you miss you will not have enough time to finish. After you get on that bridge run and power up the gondola and EC then run back and revive yourself. This can be found in the first part of this video: Once you are downstairs and into the tunnels under the cells, you can power up double tap and the washer machine in the same afterlife also. Ok well lets get away from the cell area of the map and move down to the docks\ Well there are three things located down there that need to be powered. 4 things if you haven't powered the gondola yet. You can power up all of these things at once. if you hurry. Once you go into afterlife make sure the generator room is open first. Power the three generators then head over to the plane part. After that hurry over to jug and then get the gondola. And don't worry if you messed up with the generators. If you want to go to the spiral staircase. Go into afterlife and run down stairs while memorizing the code. Type in the code and then finish off the generators and you should still have plenty of time to get yourself revived. Lets say you got to the spiral staircase and don't have the wardens office open yet, you can get it open and do the numbers in the same afterlife. IF you don't trust me refer to the second part of the video above. All you would do is go into afterlife, go down and put in the code, RUN upstairs and get a perfect jump into the cage and shock the door open, then RUN back down and revive yourself. You may want to get douple tap turned on at this time also if you want it before you go to the gg bridge. Ok now you have some different combos to help you in your solo game to get every thing done early, or to help you online if you have unhelpful teammates (either they die and don't have afterlifes, don't have mics to talk, or jut to stubborn to do anything) since you only have one afterlife. Speaking of going down, if you do go down quickly access the situation and use that afterlife wisely. Either to power on some perks or to get a piece to the easter egg. If there isn't anything nearby, cut your losses and keep killing zombies A final combo that can help, is that when you get back from the bridge and you are trying to get your redeemer, you can also power up the first spoon in the same afterlife that you use to go get your redeemer. Just make sure you destroy that poster. Again this is just a little strategy guide to help you set up your game in the earlier rounds. Make sure you don't waste those afterlifes And a big time saver is to go to the bridge as fast as possible because that powers up every perk on the map.

Idk man, im not much into the story, and that is why I don't do much of these story/map theory threads because no one ever responds

hope you understood I was joking lol. hence the

Did you get the retriever on round 3 playing solo or MP? The earlier the better I think just because first, it makes getting the redeemer that much easeier and two, I still have a tough time at the docks dog head, it's such a tight spot and I usually come in through the door next to the table which makes it that much harder, but is better than opening the gate by juggernog don't you think? It was solo so I was able to use the laundry room to my advantage Because of the laundry room I believe that its easier to do it earlier solo then in multiplayer. I come from gondola so I wouldn't know anything about opening the gate or not. What I do advise is that if you are playing multiplayer, then have somebody up top with jug. That way your buddy thats feeding the dogs can do it without worrying about the top. And if a zombie does fall down, they can just call it out. And yea its easier doing it early, and I don't advise trying to do the zombies 1 by 1 past round 5, but even if you get it early, the soonest you can get the redeemer is round 9. 6 rounds to get retriever and all 5 parts and retriever, and then the 7th round on the bridge to get the second afterlife sound to get the redeemer. and then round 8 you have to throw the retriever into the pool of lava and then on round 9 get the redeemer. I like to rush stuff, but on this map I kind of like to take it slower.

Im not talking about the links that you have to look around the map to get, but the visual links in the sky. Wouldn't you be able to see the light house lights from motd in die rise?
-
Just got the retriever on round 3.... Yea im a badass  but I don't even think there is a point in getting it then. its 60 points a kill and that is crap in the starting rounds. If you guys want I can make a solo guide but in my opinion I rather do it later and get jug instead. here is a guide if you want the retriever and jug and other stuff early: Best Solo Strategy Read that thread and instead of buying the tommy gun, save your money and ride the gondola back up and go to the wardens office and buy the door to double tap. I just personally don't prefer this strat because now you can't camp there till the late 20s which makes this map so easy.

Original Maps with Grief Mode
TheBSZombie replied to epic_oreo17's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Grief maps are not meant to be big. They are the smaller maps. Farm only has one door and 2 wall guns. Town and cell block both have more doors but max out at 4. -
on town and farm you HAVE to get emps or the game will take freking forever to finish out. And heres an interesting tip for you guys. If you see someone pack a punch, knife them off the catwalk then run all the way across and lay prone so they cant get up the double staircase doorway. We did this in a grief tourny and the guy had no guns or points because he spent all 5k on M&S and couldn't get anything else. To avoid this, crouch after PaPing.

Oh well I know that it wouldn't be possible lol but if it was all in the same realm? Like stop mocking me0 said about being like mind craft. I think we would have seen some more links beside just fireworks if we were in the same realm ;)

So in another topic it was mentioned that when the Earth shakes on the loading screen, it only shakes when this asteroid passes over. So I imagine that this asteroid has a big significance in the map selection (it passes over when selecting a map). So I have two different theories that involve the asteroid. Theory 1 I believe that we may be given a chance to actually select a map from the asteroid. We will be able to move from GLF to MOTD to Nuktetown to GR to dlc3 and finally to this asteroid to pick a final map. The only problem with this is what would be on this stranded asteroid that appeared after we blew up the earth in moon. I guess the perks could make their magical appearance there but I don't think any space stations or buildings would still be attached to this asteroid. Theory 2 Because of that, I think that this asteroid may have a crash landing of sorts on the final map. Almost every satellite or other space junk will fall back to earth if the people that put it there don't make an effort to keep it there. Also, they didn't put in the bo1 loading screen easter egg for nothing (you got dead ops from it) so I believe that this bo2 loading screen easter egg may also affect the next or final zombie map of bo2. How so? Well we could have a map that has the crash landing of the asteroid present, or we may cause something in the easter egg to cause the asteroid to fall down on us (maxis final plot to destroy whats left since the rockets didn't finish off everyone). I don't exactly know but I was just theorizing like most of us do. So does anybody else believe that this asteroid may have something to do with a future map?

Giant Accomplishment? More Like Giant Headache
TheBSZombie replied to ninezerowill's topic in Single Player
Yea I tried them on veteran and couldn't beat them. are they the same difficulty on recruit? -
allright just a quick question to clear things up Requix. Are you saying that the fireworks in die rise are the same fireworks that are seen in Alcatraz? Because thats entirely impossible because of the shape of our earth. We can't see anything father then ~20 miles into the horizon. and San Francisco is definetely 20 miles farther from Die Rise. (how do I know that you can't see more than 20 miles? I went to this one old light house in the outer banks (one of the largest in North America) and they said that even though its so old its still the tallest because there is no point in making light houses taller because the light would still only be seen 20 miles away. But we might found out if they are occuring at the same time when we go to the fourth map that I theorized is going to be on an asteroid. I say that because everytime the earth shakes at the loading screen an asteroid passes by. And Im pretty sure we will probably be able to select a map from that asteroid. And maybe we might be able to see some lights going on from down at Earth ;)

i love cell block just because of the absence of jug and addition of traps. I don't play it often, and when I do, i do it in custom game mode and start at round 15. Town is my least favorite because the first 5 rounds takes FOREVER.
-
good link, but how do you see fireworks that are from asia in motd? honest question
-
It is in library. the afterlife switch in spawn
-
- spawn - warden's office - showers - near mp5 - near gondola (up) - infirmary - near juggernog - circular stairway - inside gate on docks Yes, that is 9 switches total in the map. what about the one in the generator room?
-
that was epic.

I was not aware that fire weakens zombies. I thought it simply made them explode. And I'm probably going to be the only guy to ask you to put some effort into what you type. That kind of grammar and spelling is horrendous and hard to read. i kno how to spell and use grammar correctly im obviously just a lazy fuk haha im on my ps3 it has spell check i still dnt use it,n yes fire weakens them this is something u MUST do to gt to a high round on any map having fire, especially on farm since u hv no PaP or traps My round 48 on tranzit could have gone a lot faster if I actually used the lava to my advantage.... When I train by m16 none of the zombies ever touch the fire...
-
Im down cow But in all seriousness I would love to play with some guys from codz especially on motd which is the easiest map and you probably will not hear me rage lol. but how about tomorrow night? 8 PM est?
-
I assumed for the host migration ability, but alas just had a game end with lost connection to host,..... ay yi yi serenity now even if that was the case, I could care less about a host migration or a game being dropped because the game doesn't count anyways when someone leaves. and yea bs stands for my real life initials lololololol.

POP GOES THE WEASEL : 2 joysticks, 1 player
TheBSZombie replied to mmm chocolate's topic in Mob of the Dead
yea I feel like this map has made me a worse zombie player. I go down a few more times than usual on this map but I don't care cus I can pick myself right back up. And plus with the addition of the riot shield, I just play with a lot less caution then I use to. But whatever, it all started when I mastered whos who in Die Rise and didn't matter how often I went down as long as I had a monkey round in between or only had jug/speed/qr/ww -
If you don't know what he is doing, or just want a visual, here is a video of me doing it thanks to theatre. Notice i am constantly being revived and then at the end I am revived all the way and you can see the reviver when I turn around. I do this all the time. And since you have the roof open, showers open, and the tunnels open, you can easily get the 4k in one round and get the rest of the plane pieces. (you need 1k to open spiral staircase, 1.5k to open the bottom, and 1.5k to open up the generator room.) After that you can get to the bridge super fast. edit: I forgot to add the video, dang it lol. I added it now

Original Maps with Grief Mode
TheBSZombie replied to epic_oreo17's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I would like to see Nacht with grief. Its a small map and the absence of perks would make it an extremely fun and fast game. Maybe even take out the doors and let you go outside where you can access in tranzit.
