It's a prequel, so it shouldn't tie into the towers. That will probably be in the next game. Then all the work for the towers was completely in vain, it does not matter what we did, we got no proof we did it, we got no satisfaction for doing it. All we got was a pointless fire sale, special zombies, and mule kick + for one game... That's NOT a good enough award for the buried easter egg... That took more time, effort, and coordination then the shangri-la EE, and THAT gave us the key to blowing up the earth, what did the buried one do? Give us a horrible split ending that feels like a total waist of our time.... If there is no tie-in to the button in DLC 4 (which i can imagine many ways it could), I have lost all hope for the zombies storyline and BO2 would be a dead game in my book... I don't know what EE's you're doing but Buried's EE was so much easier and simpler than Shang's. The last step isn't that hard either if you're playing with good people. I would put Buried as being easier than Die Rises's EE. All BO2 EE's are pretty easy compared to BO1. On-Topic: I think so far it looks great and is going to be the BO2 zombeis map I've been wanting since this game came out as all others have been a bit of a disappointment for me. I really want more gameplay though and hope the fog is like CotD and NOT TRANZIT.

It happens when you buy Jugg. The qoutes are "Isn't this suppose to make you stronger?" "I'm not feeling it" Something along those lines, but when I first heard them I couldn't stop laughing for about 5 minutes.

The 1996 sign in Die Rise.

This has been brought up before and it can be taken as either way. Just because YOU believe it's a nod to Treayarch does not make it definitive proof. -
The creatures inside the pods in Kino are Monkeys, that's obivous. What's in those mech suits is certainly not a monkey. That's also obvious.

True but where the got the time to work on these maps and make all of these little connections and this truly huge story is crazy. Now that I think about it they must have had this planned since Verruckt, with the writings on the wall and FEAR TEDDY written on there too. I could definitely see them finally connection Nacht into the bigger story like this. Very interesting.
-
Definitely since Der Riese. The photos of CotD on the billboards and since kino was suppose to be on WaW they've had all this planned since WaW days. That's crazy.
-
That would be very cool. I'm not quite sure if that would work though since the coding is already in place and changing that much seems unnecessary and I feel 3arc would be much to lazy to do so.
-
Considering the audio files from Kino Der Toten about The Great Leap Forward on the Wii I wouldn't doubt that they've had all this planned out for a very long time.
-
POsted a thread about something like this a while ago and got 0 attention. However you managed to I do not know. But I really hope something along these lines happens.

I think he meant they haven't been created for the time period in the map. But yes many of the weapons in BO2 aren't really future weapons. Even if it's only 2025 they could have done a much better job on new weapons and such for that future feel. I still love the WaW weapons best. PPSH MG42 Browning STG-44 Mp40 Thompson and many more great weapons

Can we all just stop with this Ruva stuff. It means NOTHING. FEAR from BO1 may have been coincidence ( or not as it tied in nicely to the cold war setting for the game ) But this time there's nothing to it. No hidden meaning. Please just stop with this. EDIT: Sorry if this seemed hostile, this fear RUVA stuff has been quite the annoyance to me. Great researching but like others I just don't see this connecting. They're practically telling us to fear zombies when we already do and have been since WaW.

It's confirmed we're getting a new perk.

Sorry, terrible spelling and such annoy me greatly. Also the point of zombies is to see how long you can survive. Your idea is effectively getting rid of what zombies is all about and making it much too easy. absolutely. this is why i hated the premise of the MotD easter egg and breaking the cycle thus ending the game without being eaten by zombies. the only way the game should be able to end is by being overcome by the undead, end of story I feel the same way, I haven't even bothered to do the MotD EE. It's not worth the gamerscore, time, or ending.

Treyarch maybe realized they made a mistake.

Why does no one realise both sides of the EE are canon to the story. Campaign has 4 different possible endings that are all canon. Zombies always has subtle ties to campaign whether it's locations or story drive. Campaign has 4 different endings. Zombies has 2 different endings. Jimmy Z even said we make the decision. The power is in our hands. We get to choose who wins in this tale of ours. Both Maxis and Richtofen Buried endings are canon. EDIT: Sorry for double posting :( -

He didn't mean it like brother and sister, that should be common sense.... But I don't they changed the story to kill off the n4, I think it was already planned. I don't think that the zombie team makes up the story as they go. No great story is made up while its written. They usually brainstorm in the beginning and get am outline. That's why a teacher says to make an outline before you start writing an essay or some other form of writing. Yea some small things are made up as they go, but the big pieces were probably thought about before bo2 was made. And yea I do believe that treyarch has saw some of the errors of the past and are going to try to avoid those. You can see that in buried. One of misty's quotes is "I'm on fire. Not literally, remember when we were, that SUCKED." That quote shows that they know that we really don't like fire that much and treyarch know that. I know he didn't mean it like that obviously. I assumed he meant a father daughter relationship which is also impossible. The only way I can see this is the slim chance that Tank is Misty's great great great uncle or something. -
Most of these are not directly answered and can be speculated and debated on. Mend the Rift - if I'm not mistaken - was a sideplot they introduced in Die Rise and, well, they never really did anything with it from that point on. Stu hears groans and moaning from what appear to be the Zombies trying to talk to him, they can be hear saying 'lies' 'help me' and 'kill me'. Russman was a former operative of Broken Arrow, he cannot remember much and as a result the Crew only know him as 'Russman'. What he did during his time at Broken Arrow is unknown, it is known that he knew Stu back then though. Actually we know what Mend the rift meant exactly and it had everything to do with Buried. Richtofen told stu to mend the rift so the earth would heal itself and stay intact. Maxis wanted the opposite so he could reach agartha and find his daughter.

Since I've never liked persistent at all since they were first found on TranZit I've always thought they would be better in the form of a drop. Then I wouldn't mind them so much. What if there were weapon type specific drops? Like an AR drop and SMG and Sniper and LMG AR drop could be that any kill with an AR would grant you Higher damage with HS Sniper drop could be that you can get bigger collateral's during drop time Sub-Machine gun would grant an extra 15 shots per clip (since most SMG's have a high rate of fire) LMG would be reduced recoil I think stuff like that would be pretty neat.

Be more clear that this is simply a theory of yours and not legitimate info. Anyways, The frost dog idea is cool but could be better, seems like you got lazy on wonder weapons and just chose the 2 most popular. EMP thing I'm not really seeing that work or do much, we don't even know if those Tesla Coils will help us or harm us. PaP idea I liked as well. Would be interesting to see how you would get up there instead of just climbing and grabbing onto it.

It's impossible for Tank and Misty to be related. That's common sense. -
I think the same might apply to the zombies as well. They also carry the same damage counter based on where you shoot them and with what weapon. Anything from the chest and up can be lethal, whereas a shot outside the said region doesn't receive the same multiplier. The damage a gun can do remains constant but the multiplier does not. Yeah I know I forgot to mention they only made the multipliers weird like that to balance the gun since it has a faster ADS, my bad.

I highly doubt this but will they also carry over how the damage multipliers work for the Ballista? For those who don't know in MP the gun can only 1 shot someone at full health by hitting high upper chest or head. No stomach shots. This is because the gun ADS's faster than any other sniper. Since it's zombies I'm sure they won't but it would be fun for them to do so I think.

Didn't alcatraz have the same type of photo? Maybe they just re-used it and forgot to take it out? Still brings up questions with Richtofen having those blood vials.
-
It's already confirmed there will be a cinematic.

The reason we have the earth is because it's easier for them to port it over from MP side. In the MP menu you have the earth showing the location of players. It rests in the same spot as the zombies one and turns at the same speed. It's simply because Treyarch is lazy.
