The gold glowing dog heads were proven to be a glitch when Alcatraz forst came out....right?

I apologize!

I can verify 2 people can definitely have Mark 2 in buried. Just happened the other day. So I would assume as DBZ said all 4 players are able to get it.

Tremendous theory backed up by amazing real life information. Good job.

Yeah. Im not sure if we are gonna hear from the 04 or N4 again seeing them as toys makes that doubtful to me. Best case scenario I think is they start a "real" story of thd events that take place because of a zombie apocalypse. Who knows though... -
Isnt that what the colored towers are for? I am in belief that they are left over from a longer ee that was planned. Time to get into custom Zs. 2015 is a long way away.

Loose Ends - The Unsolved Mysteries of Zombies (W.I.P)

The whole different universes and time paradox thing ruined the zombie story imo. Both the 04 and N4 story had so much potential. The 04 had vril, alien, illuminati references that ended up meaning nothing. The N4 had the flesh, broken arrow, maxis vs R ichtofen, Samuel zombification, and much more. With buried both stories came to an end pretty much. Origins then changed or challenged all we knew about the storyline previously. For the peolle who have been involved since world at war the story almost became meaningless in BO2. Everything can be explained away as a child's game. The only other answer is alternate universes or time paradox which is an easy out imo. All the major questions I have about the 04 I have had since Bo 1) who is Samantha talking about being in the MOD with her? 2) what happens after moon ee? among others, N4 could have had an amazing story. Instead we got fed the absolute minimum. 1) the flesh, what exactly is their role in Samuels actions? 2) how was Marlon and Russmans involvement in broken arrow? 3) why can samuel hear richrofen but no one else? 4) whay does m arlton know about everything? Russmans as well. Those two seem to be the main characters. Many others. TO ME, its tough to care anout the storyline anymore. i feel we as a community cared more about it than the developersm PLUS alternate realities, time p aradoxs means anytjing cam happen without repercussion. I dont like that. -
Imagine the story as a movie. As soon as the climax happens (moon) you get a cetaceans to a whole different movie. Although that movies storyline may be good, you are wondering what happened with the original story. Once you get into the second storyline it cuts to the beginning of the forst storyline and changes all you learned originally. That is BO2 storyline in a nutshell.

Good question... first, I hate that we didn't get any explanation of what happened to o4 after moon. (Except Richtofen if you did his side of EE through buried) next, the N4 story had so much potential, BUT because of the way we were left hanging with our 04 we as a community didn't give the N4 the chance they deserved imo. Because of the backlash it seems the N4 story was nixed. The story us long timers had come to love had no answers given. How we used to piece together the story (radios, ee, and character quotes to a lesser degree) were completely abandoned. We had one TV in transit. One tv in die rise, no story relevant in MOTD, and buried seemingly ended both N4 and o4 abruptly. Origins threw a wrench in all we have come to knowm maxis having his brain taken out? The 04 backstory of how they met completely changed. It was a disgrace story wise imo. Half assed amd rushed. I can accept it was a kids game all along. They have been hinting since Der reise. I just feel they got lazy and unimaginative with the story line.

Man, tough to swallow . An extra year and this last installment was a failure in many ways. Tough year for Zombies. Imo -
I have no praise for the BO2 story..

There is no such thing as personal property, especially playing with random, especially with no mic. I always assume the worst in that case.

To me, Origins crushed the story line when they had Maxis head being cut open and his brain turn into a drone. We have NEVER heard a word of any of this and I think thats a pretty big deal...lol I cant make anything from the story based on that fact alone. Origins can't be the begging to the story we all grew to love. So it only could be a beginning of a new "real world" story of zombies (right?). Clearly, IMO, based on the Maxis drone alone, Origins cant be the start of the zombie story of w@w or black ops . So I dont know what to make of it or how "the plan" could mean the same thing from the same story. Great pick up on that though, had me thinking! -
That seems the most realistic theory I have seen. It makes the most sense. Those orbs mean something. Nobody knows what though. Technically there is more to Tranzit. Until somebody figures out how to bring orbs up there is still more to learn. I truly believe we would have found something by now and that Tranzit it unfinished. They had high hopes. They have promised things that never came to fruition (multiple upgradable wonder weaponry, a zombie campaign, just being a few small ones) and we all took it in stride. but this map had so much promise, everything has screamed there is more on the map. And now our best players, hunters, and enthusiasts are stuck completely. I agree, I think theu put out an unfinished product.

Single Player Zombies...worth It?
Zombiefaces replied to AlphaOmega's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Bo2 is ok in solo. Sometimes doing all the chores of building the buildables (tramplesteam) becomes a bit annoying, but there are ways around it. It is fun to play both solo and with friends to me. I feel BO2 dropped the ball as well in some aspects. (Replayability and storyline) -
Your Feelings About The Future Of Zombies.
Zombiefaces replied to Matuzz's topic in Research & Development
I enjoyed the game play of Bo2 very much for the most part. (Some of the tasks were more time consuming than anything, especially on solo, knifing, especially through a window, sucked) Besides a few small examples the game play grew but stayed pretty true to the roots of zombies. In terms of game play, I feel they have a good handle on what we want. As far as the storyline went, from start to finish it was a disgrace IMO. In one swoop they destroyed the storyline we had all grown to love, and at the same time yhey didn't give the N4 the proper chance at growing on us because of the cliffhanger we had been left on after Moon. Had we had a form of burieds end game on Tranzit and then build the N4 story from there I think the story could have been amazing and because we would have had closure on our O4, the zombie community would have been more interested in the N4 and their backstory. Instead we were always bringing up the fact that the N4 were not the O4 and Buried ended both stories (pretty much). Origins came and pretty much was a smack in the face to all the old timers who had put time and effort into building the story and zombie community into what it is today. The ending doesn't bother me so much anymore, because the fact that they gave us a map that had no meaning story line wise but actually was detrimental to all we had learned and loved, what got a lot of us hooked in the first place. The storyline from w@w to Moon. I (kind of) hope we begin a new story, that is "real life" with all the darkness and mystery involved. I just don't have any idea how they can do that without feeling like a rip off. I also feel that they didn't do enough as far as how we found out about the story. in w@w and BO we had to find easter eggs and complete easter eggs to continue the story along with piecing together player quotes and radios. It was amazing. In Bo2 it was just player quotes (many which had nothing to do with the story) and 1 TV in tranzit, 1 TV in die rise, and maxis and Richtofen quotes. It didn't have the same feel. in short, I am really excited about the game in general. I am just worried that the story to go with it has lost its shine, or will be new and non interesting... -
First of all, let me say I am so glad this site is back. This is the only place where there can be any meaningful discussion about BO2 zombies or zombie storyline in general at this point, Now, let me just say that I am / have been an avid zombie storyline follower / player since the days of w@w. Black Ops 2 in general, geared away from the story we had all grown to love and speculate about. SEEMINGLY ending the story with the "Button" easter egg in Buried. Either Maxis takes over and Richtofen is zombified. Or Richtofen takes over and Maxis is. well seemingly dead. NOW, that being said, Origins took EVERYTHING we knew about (or thought we knew about) zombies and made us reconsider. As disappointed as I am about how the story played out throughout BO2 in general, I still can only come to one conclusion about Origins storyline. That is, that it is a stand alone story much like MOTD. Difference being, of course, we are using our main characters we had all grown to love. There are a few examples that lead me to believe that Origins storyline is a stand a lone story. One in particular is the fact that Maxis head is chopped open and Richtofen is removing his brain in order to save it from zombification. Up until the opening sequence in Origins we had NEVER EVER heard anything of the sort. Not even a mention of Richtofen even saving Maxis life in any way, shape, or form. I think in all the radios and dialogue we got between the two that would have come up at some point prior to this map. Also, nobody recognizes who Samantha is. Either as a real person, (as in the daughter of Maxis) or as the announcer. They just recognize it is a little girl and she lets them know her name is Samantha. Maxis doesnt even believe he has a daughter in the audio logs in the map. These are just two examples, they are big ones though and would BLOW the old story to smithereens. There are so many other smaller examples it would take me all night to write but those two right there are almost PROOF that the story told in origins is stand a lone and has nothing to do with the original storyline. No alternate universe, no different dimension, no "god toy" as I read in another post. Just a stand a lone story.. Now, that bring me to my next point. What BO2 did to the storyline we had all grown to love was almost unforgivable. It answered NONE of the questions we, as a community, had or were left with at the end of BO1. All of theses suggestions at Aliens, or Vril, or the "war god", being behind the MPD and other locations / landmarks we had come across during the story. No clear cut answer to what happened to the O4 after the events of moon. I mean, to me, it was actually quite a slap in the face storyline wise. DON'T get me wrong, gameplay in general was a major upgrade from BO1. I enjoyed many of the new features such as buildables. I enjoyed playing grief for a time too. The storyline, especially in connection with what we had already learned was a spit in the face to the hard core followers who had been there from the start.Since the very first map Tranzit we all could have care less about the N4. All we cared about for the most part was the cliffhanger we were left with at the end of the Moon EE. Now, once it became clear we werent going to find that out (after months and months of searching any little clue) we still didnt have much to learn about the N4. One Tv and the discussions back and forth. Thats it. Same with Die Rise, none on MOTD, :a little on Buried. Personally I would really have enjoyed learning about the N4 getting into a new part of the story that left the old characters behind AFTER we found out what happened to all we knew on Moon. I dont think the N4 ever got a fair shot at becoming fan favorites because we were always looking ahead to get some closure on the previous storyline we had been fed. Looking back, the N4 story could have been really cool. Anyway, sorry for this late night ramble. I just am let down storyline wise all together with BO2. I feel like Origins was one lasy kick to the nuts to all us long timers. Even IF the next Zombies anwers some questions, it will already be too late imo. Origins (I think) was a stand alone. The rest was just a let down,
