  1. You haven't read the linear notes that have been said here. I do love Die Rise, trust me. More then Mob. But if they could take numerous mini Die Rises, put them all together, you'd have a pretty replayable savy map in my opinion. I never said bigger. Just more.
  2. Oh geez. Guys. How many years have 3arch been making zombies. Five or so years? Getting ready to head on to six? Half a decade. HALF. A. DECADE. They have a five year old child, starting out in kindergarten. Their wife (us, the community)loved how they treated it in it's baby years. And they're trying their best to appeal to their child and their wife. It's hard to continue to impress the community because you're all expecting something mega ultra hyper speed god polished map or something that you considered unrushed or something more dynamic. What do you want? A GIANT ROBOT UNICORN TO DESTROY THE STATUE OF LIBERTY AND ZOMBIES HAVE SCUBA OUTFITS AND SWIM THEIR WAY TO NEW YORK CITY AND YOU HAVE TO PROTECT THE PRESIDENT? You just have to take the maps wit ha grain of salt. Play it. Do you love it? Proclaim your love. Do you appreciate only certain aspects of it? Say what could've been more flawlessly executed and still proclaim the things you like about it. Do you despise it? Well criticize all of it. Just thank 3arch for trying to make you happy. Because they try. Don't insult them directly. But especially don't be upset that prerelease hype isn't your cup of tea. Wait until you have a grip on the controller and see the first tally mark. I'm honestly excited that i'm getting something new. That 3arch didn't pull a Capcom and say "Lol we have seen the complaints and decided that we're stopping zombies all together". TL;DR: Think about it from 3arch's standpoint. Wait until you play Buried.
  3. This who Rewriting History trophy/achievement is probably the one that makes sirens go off in my head the most. There are some things that come to mind: 1. Rewriting something gigantic. Like Moon ever happening. Maybe Maxis had figured out a way to use a teleporter to go back in time and prevent it. So that'd set up us playing as the O4 in the final DLC. Maybe. Unlikely. But perhaps. 1a. Richofy teleports the N4 to a time to correct somethings that should be corrected. Maybe he wants all of this to never cease to be and sends them to the past to stop Maxis from ever experimenting or falling in love. 2. Even something MORE gigantic. Making MotD not even occur. Maybe Richofy knows about this from "something worse then you can imagine" in the M.P.D. So he want's to rewrite that. Somehow, you interact with the MotD crew. Probably not. Just a thought. 3. That there's something that the N4 can do for the hillbilly or the female ghost (wraith, whatever) that could change their history. Or both. 4. They could help the town(?) that takes place in Buried and make it into it's former glory/state. 5. THEY COULD STOP TRANZIT FROM EVER HAPPENING! LIKE LITERALLY WIPED FROM EVERYONE'S MINDS! What do you fellow Zomb Fons think?
  4. Yupp, I missed the RBP in MotD. I really did. But two different bosses are very interesting to me.
  5. Agreed 935%
  6. I noticed some new things compared to Xbox update (as far as I've read) that parts on the bus, the key slots in Die Rise and the plane all say "additional parts required". Instead of the usual "parts required". Also, on Die Rise, the NAV table was already built when I got to the roof. And I hadn't touched the table. Also, I've seen everything from the Xbox's update in it. Like fridge, perma perk, etc. but I haven't gotten the Mark II yet. Anything else you guys noticed? In Xbox and PS3 alike?
  7. Very similar indeed. But if you get Vitrolic Withering and the Mark II, things could be fairly easy on one's troubling zombie times.
  8. Maybe the update putting in the Mark II was just a taste. Maybe it was a mistake. Maybe it was letting people think they already had it and when Buried comes out, there will be two? For dual wielding? Like Moon? Jut a thought. 3arch should comment on these things. Via Twitter, via in game message, via smoke signals, ANYTHING.

    wikipedia?

    Trolololol.
  10. Yup. Spells "SUGR" as in suger. Perhaps you're right. He doesn't seem like the kind of guy to mess with, either. Perhaps the main objective of the game besides survival/power is to keep him under control, much like the secondary objective with MotD was building the plane. And also, yeah, I actually am looking for that endgame. I think this is the end of the road for the N4, and why not a way that means the end of them? I think it'd be cool if there was a cave in, lava starts pouring from the ceiling, and your ammo is refilled. Next, the round counter disappears, and you're in a NML of sorts, but no PaP. When everyone runs out of bullets and dies or dies from the lava, a the screen turns blackand shows the scoreboard without music playing for a little, then a cutscene is played, and the players are then sent back to the pre-game lobby. See, that's a good idea. I love that idea. I'd probably actually race to get that endgame before anything, just to experience it.
  11. Sorry. I read F.E.A.R. and T.E.D.D.Y. and just put two and two together. My mistake. I apologize. -1 for me.
  12. What I was thinking about when I heard Vulture Aid, I thought every fifty kills or so, they drop like a vulture kind of power up. Like take the blue powerups from Turned and put a Vulture. You get half of the ammo's max capacity for whatever weapon your using. Like if you get that power up, and half a M911's max capacity, you get that half. Just a thought.
  13. Uh, I would advise surviving. Oh. And killing zombies. :^)
  14. did you see jimmys tweet about us being careful..we have the choice, we probably have the fate of the N4 in our hands Well that's why I was thinking for an endgame. I loved it in MotD. Just because if things got too boring, like lets say you're on round 43 or something. It would just become a stressful grind. So you could end it without actually quitting or dying.
  15. Well I can see where you're coming from when you say that. Because there wasn't any reward for completing it. Just a bunch of unanswered questions.
  16. First off, if the map packs in BO are four letters, shouldn't the next word be for letters? I think the community is trying to look for too many messages. Maybe 3arch just wanted to have a central idea and not worry about it. Something ominous. Because, technically, Tranzit isn't part of the DLC. So why count it with the others? I just don't think there's a hidden message.
  17. For me, I want there to be an endgame. Like the decision of the Mobsters. Because based on how slowly but surely, Samuel becomes more and more of a zombie, maybe he'll be taken over in this map and work against the other three. Or maybe a tower will be activated in this map. That's more then likely what's going to happen. Any thoughts from you, zombie killers?
  18. But it also said that it could work against you too. So maybe it's a rageful character if you don't appease his sugar cravings (like George. Just time triggered). And if you feed him, he works for you. P.S. Is anybody hoping for an endgame like Pop Goes The Weasel? I know I am.
  19. The way it sounds is that it is a better version of Blundergat. Because that just sat crowds of zombies down fairly quickly.
  20. That's what I was thinking too in a way. Treyarch never fails in giving me a map that is unreplayable for numerous months until next map.
  21. No, believe me, that's how I feel too. Just highlighting the aspects that will be fun to explore when I get a chance to play it (IN AUGUST MIND YOU). I still hate Microtransactionsoft.
  22. Based on the footage shown, this map will not be as big as Mob. For me, that saddens me. Just because the bigger the size, the dynamic the sets, the better the experience. Even though, Die Rise is still superior in my opinion, I still would want more. More. Moar. MOAAAR. Oh. And the AGR looking buildable still makes me smile. What are your thoughts on the new add-ons? Or features. Or whatever you want to call it.
  23. This is a pretty good idea for people who are new to zombies and start getting shitty weapons from the box. Let's them feel powerful. Wait I just realize... Oh god. What has 3arch done.

    Not so nice

I'm actually excited for the map, in all honesty. Just because it doesn't matter what's in the map, it's how you experience it and think about it. Because I get shunned all the time for saying the Die Rise is more fun the Mob Of The Dead for the sole reason of that I feel Mob is more linear in terms of strategy. Die Rise you have options. But that's me. All i'm saying is wait until you get a handle of the controller before you claim that it doesn't compare to Mob. P.S. There HAS to be a mention of the O4. 3arch wouldn't displease the fans THAT much.
  25. I think the reason why they did that is for people who are Multiplayer fanatics and want to do something new. Se they can see what their buying. Because I know there are knuckleheads who refer to weapons as "The pistol with three shots!" Or maybe i'm just rambling and need to shut up. Either way.
