  1. If you are still wondering, the only real differences with the Perk-a-Colas has been the logos in the corner of your screen. Other than minor graphical upgrades as games progress, the bottles and logos have stayed relatively the same.
  2. It all depends on your preferences and what kind of maps you like. Have you done some research on them? Both of them are really good maps. Both setting and gameplay-wise as well as their size. There are a number of really good spots to train zombies if you're going for high rounds and the Wonder Weapons on both maps are really cool. Both have very intricate Easter Eggs (however Call of the Dead's EE can be done on solo). If you're asking for my opinion, I honestly couldn't decide out of the two of them to be completely honest.
  3. Agreed. Obviously that is why Ascension is one of the most favourable maps in the community. I personally loved it. It felt so creepy, but at the same time it kept that vibe that the original 4 maps gave me. Vote 1 for more maps like Ascension.
  4. It wouldn't make sense for the drop to be acquired only after the power is turned on. You can get Perks from GobbleGum when the power is off, so I don't see why you would need to have the power on to pick up the Death Machine.
  5. I actually can't believe I forgot to mention the events of Moon. Perhaps I shouldn't respond to posts so late at night... Nevertheless, I didn't say that the Americans build the teleporter, only that they attempted to replicate what they had stolen from Group 935, failed and as a result from tampering with 115 in the facility, the outbreak occurred. I think this map is only there as a bonus. Not really serving a purpose like I said.
  6. Hmmm... that is curious. My guess is it is a glitch. Then again, we have been receiving a multitude of patches as of late. Who knows it could be coming. At least you'll be prepared!
  7. Did you see the notification pop up in game? If so, do you remember what you were doing? I've seen some people with this happening while using Death and Taxes but I'm not entirely sure if Treyarch are adding a weapon kit or if it is just a glitch. I don't see why they didn't add it in, aside from the fact that we have the Bloodhound and might be seeing unique starting weapons in future DLC maps. I do hope they add it in though. It could be pretty useful.
  8. A bit late to the party, but congratulations to anonymous an shirtlesservice!
  9. I don't think the Americans fully succeeded in replicating the scientific achievements that 935 had achieved. For one the Winters Howl isn't completed and is most likely an attempt at recreating the Ray Gun. As for the teleporters, I believe that they managed to recreate their designs, just not to the extent or power of the German's versions. I mean, they used the teleporters to build Griffin Station. As such, I don't believe they were able to be teleported away. I think that as soon as they cleared the zombie threat out of the Pentagon (most likely brought about by the 115 present in the science labs of the Pentagon), they went along with their normal lives. Kennedy continued as President until he was assassinated, Nixon and McNamara continued on and died and Castro went on to become the Prime Minister of Cuba. Don't quote me on this, as there isn't much to go on. I don't really believe that Five has outstanding importance to the storyline. I do like that they have little tie ins.
  10. Hey there! Welcome to CoDZ. If you're looking for people to play with, head on over to the CoDZ LFG. There you can make your own post, or find other like-minded players to group up with. Here's the link: http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/groupfinder/
  11. I just refuse to believe it. Maxis is one of my favorites. He can't be just a mere drone!
  12. I agree. Maybe just a small bonus map in one or more of the next DLC's. Another thing that bugs me is that they use modern weapons in these maps that are clearly set in a completely different time. That also partly ruins the vibe.
  13. Probably just your luck. All drops can be obtained before the power is turned on.
  14. Hey there, welcome to the community. Hope you enjoy your time here.
  15. Seeing Skyrim and Red Dead Redemption on that list makes me so very happy.
  16. So I decided to go for the "150 Headshots In A Game" medal.

  19. Maybe in the newer universe, but Maxis from the Black Ops 1 universe was definitely human. In the radio in Der Reise, when Samantha runs into the teleporter where Fluffy had emerged, Dr. Maxis runs after her. Also, in Moon there is a radio where Maxis is angry with Richtofen and promptly turns around and storms out of the room and slams the door behind him. You even hear his footsteps.
  20. Welcome to the forum, Nick! Hope to see you in the threads.
  21. Seeing Der Eisendrache in the list for zombies, but not being able to play it due to not having the Season Pass is absolutely terrible. I need to play this map!

Do you have paypal? If so, PM me you're email address and I'll send you $25 to buy the map - I'm feeling generous.

  22. That's one problem that many theorists have. So many Easter Eggs in maps are just that, Easter Eggs in every sense of the term. They don't really hold any significance other than to reference something else. People read way too far into these, which causes problems when theorising. Little references are great. People just need to understand the difference.
  23. The real problem for me is that the maps are too quest oriented. Tranzit could have been an amazing map, they focused too much on restricting us that it made the map, at least in my opinion, terrible. The fog coupled with lava and the denizens were just too much. They tried to go too big and it went wrong. On top of that, with Shadows of Evil we have elements inspired from the Cthulhu Mythos. Like what @NaBrZHunter has in his signature, these elements that they are bringing to zombies really takes it away from what made the older maps great. However, by no means am I throwing Black Ops 3's zombies into the dirt. Yes there are elements they use that I dislike, but that is what an opinion is. I'm just disappointed that they keep trying to make the maps more and more complicated, that they lose sight of what made zombies so great in the first place. The feeling the old maps had and the survival aspect was always the thing that drew me to zombies. More doesn't always equal better. It's really good to see people's different opinions.
  24. My bad. I didn't meant to say Multiplayer. Thanks for the catch. Yes Nuketown does take place after the bomb drops at the end of Nuketown from Black Ops 1. That explains why there are zombies there. However, Multiplayer doesn't carry a story to it. So there's no point in looking into any correlations between Zombies and Multiplayer.
  25. Make sure to put spoilers in a spoiler box! There are still people who haven't finished the Easter Egg.
