The weapons featured on the wall are simply weapons utilized from the game. The reason there weren't WaW weapons on the Black Ops Rezurrection maps was because the weapons from WaW weren't in the game (save the STG44 and the Type 100) Another flaw in your theory is the weapons in MotD. Wouldn't weapons from the past be used instead of the ones from Black Ops 2?

Nacht der Untoten possibly in Japan?
Doppelgänger replied to ninezerowill's topic in Story Discussion
Then how do you explain the hill with the crashed plane outside of the original Nacht Der Untoten. Sorry buddy but Nacht takes place in Germany. No where else. -
I highly doubt that Treyarch would release the WAW maps for a third time. Not only is it unoriginal but would you really want to pay for those maps a third time? Also the only reason we had Rezurrection was because the WAW maps were released with the Hardened and Prestige editions of Black Ops. I'd also hate to have all of the futuristic guns on the old maps because it would ruin the feel of the maps. Also could you imagine how much memory that would be to download. Rezurrection was 2.0 gigabytes and to put 7 other maps on top of that with edited wall weapons and options to start on higher rounds. The memory needed would be impossible to fit on certain people's consoles (people who own a 4 gigabyte Xbox 360) However it would be really cool to have all of these locations on the world map.

There is a hole in the maze area where you are able to jump into and be teleported to the surface. Please note that I am NOT talking about the one under the gazebo :P

Hmmm appears I was wrong. My mistake.

Welcome to the forum Jared. I hope you enjoy your time here and I look forward to seeing what you have to contribute. :)

Actually there was. If you look at the Call of Duty wikia there is a topic on the bus driver or T.E.D.D (Technically Elaborate Driving Droid)

Yes he was. However TEDD was an anagram. Not an actual name.

Could Russman be a super-soldier?

Hmmm I see your point. It was just a thought I had and I wanted to see other people's ideas on it -
I'm sure that Treyarch wouldn't just kill of the O4 without us being aware of it. The O4 are simply too popular to just be killed off.

Okay so with the recent drop of the new multiplayer maps I thought I would enlighten you all with a cool Easter Egg found on the map Cove. If you look out into the water you can see a boat. What boat is this you ask? Well it's the Hijacked boat! Pretty cool huh? ~Experience

So lately there has been a lot of speculation with the "hidden word" that the first letter of each downloadable content pack that comes out for Black Ops 2. As we all know there were four Black Ops 1 downloadable content packs. With each pack that came out we were brought a new letter. Each first letter spelt out the word "FEAR" First Strike Escalation Annihilation Rezurrection Now with the Black Ops 2 downloadable content packs coming at us we have been brought three new letters. "RUV" however these letters don't spell out a word that makes sense. However my theory is the new "code word" will not be spelt out with the first letter of each of the downloadable content packs. The new word will be spelt out with each of the last letters of the zombie maps. So far we have... TranziT Die RisE Mob of the DeaD Now with the new Vengeance map pack coming out we are brought another zombie map. BurieD Now, if we take these letters we are left with "TEDD". My theory is that the last zombie map will have the last letter "Y" to spell "TEDDY" Now when we put the two together we are left with "FEAR TEDDY" If you are familiar with the zombie storyline you will be familiar with this name. For those who aren't I will explain. "Teddy" is Richtofen's nickname. In the map Verrückt a room can be found with writing on the walls. There are two quotes from this wall of bloody words one is "Teddy is a liar" and the other is "Teddy is the biggest liar" ("Teddy is a liar" can also be seen in Der Reise). Also, in the Easter Egg for Moon, Richtofen says "Username. Teddy. Password. Is a liar. I'm not but that's why no one would guess it" So what do you think? This is my first post so leave your thoughts below. ~Experience

New Icons for Die Rise and Green Run?
Doppelgänger replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Hmmm I see your point. Would you be refereeing to the fact that the Green Run tower has lights and the like shooting out of it whereas the Die Rise does not? -
New Icons for Die Rise and Green Run?
Doppelgänger replied to Flammenwerfer's topic in General Zombies Discussion
You are right. Both map icons will display a certain light if you complete the EE for either Richtofen or Maxis. Orange for Maxis and blue for Richtofen. As for the radio tower sound, I have a theory for this. I believe that the reason the Green Run map doesn't have the radio tower sound that Die Rise has is because the signal is too weak. However with the Die Rise icon. We hear a sound because the signal is a little stronger. Unfortunate not strong enough to hear the full broadcast as the voice after is hard to hear due to static. Hope this helped! ~Experience -
Currently at 78%! 2 gig! Keen as a freaking bean!

The weapons aren't meant to be good. The entire idea of the "gun-game" system is for you to start off with an extremely powerful weapon and after every kill you receive a less powerful weapon until you are left with the M1911.

We all know that the original characters are "super soldiers". In the map Call of the Dead we learn that the four characters are suffering from various side effects due to being infused with the element 115. These side effects are serious aggression (Dempsey), unable to function with out the aid of copious amounts of vodka (Nikolai), reciting proverbs or quotes (Takeo) and memory loss. All three also suffer from memory loss. Not just short term but long term memory loss. And which of our beloved new characters suffer from long term memory loss? Russman. With the new mam Buried coming out in the next couple of hours we have been given a new starting cutscene. Here is the cutscene: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=F4hMKNFoi5I (thanks to mcsportzhawk for the video) In the video we find out a lot of information about our new characters, Russman in particular. We learn that he is a former operative from Broken Arrow. The most interesting bit of information is when Marlton says to Russman "You've been walking the Earth since the uhhh... incident" What Marlton means by this is unknown, however it could be telling us that Russman was infused with 115 and is now suffering from many side effects including memory loss. My opinion is that at the Broken Arrow facility Russ was exposed or maybe even made to be infused with element 115. What do you think? ~Experience

Also watch it get nerfed a week or two after release. I see where you're going with that. However keep in mind that you only replenish 3 ammo with each drop and 15 points with each money bag. :)
-
Not sure. I suppose it will work like in multiplayer where if you kill with explosives you don't get the drop. But maybe the drops will show up even when using a launcher. As with the ballistic knife. You are able to retrieve the blade you shot at the zombie.

I definitely couldn't agree with you more.

The new perk in Buried is called Vulture Aid Elixer. The perk which is located inside the church costs 3000 points to obtain. The perk itself looks very awesome as it allows you to pick up small amounts of ammo, candy and even points after killing a zombie. However the amount of ammo you get is very low as well as the money bags which give you around 10-15 points. The vulture drops themselves don't drop after every kill. Instead they drop very often. It also allows the player to see where all of the wall weapons are located thrrough the walls. What do you guys think? I personally think this perk looks very awesome and I can't wait to play Buried and try it out. ~Experience

That's most likely what Treyarch are going for. For us to not know anything about certain things in the storyline, instead creating conspiracys about said boss. In my opinion 'Five' had little to nothing to do with the overall zombie storyline. Thus the Pentagon Theif not really having the slightest bit of solid background information. This being said it did connect with Ascencion via the red telephones scattered throughout the pentagon.

Random Fact: The fire extinguisher part is used as the propellant for this pink liquid. Not a grip.
