There isn't an actual known time, but it will release early in the morning. If the older games are any indication as to what time to expect it, it should be out around 9. It really is down to where you live.

So this last weekend I was so busy, when I read about a Double XP weekend on Black Ops 3, I assumed it was multiplayer. Oh how stupid I feel knowing I missed out on 3 days of Zombies XP .-.

That is a good question. As far as I am aware, there isn't a solid theory on it at the moment. Shadows of Evil is most likely the same universe where Mob of the Dead takes place as we have several quotes from Jackie Vincent and clues in the map to tie these two universes in. Other that that, there isn't a particularly large amount of evidence to suggest that. It is possible that this universe involves that of punishing those who have done wrong, which leads most people to theorise that this universe is actually an instance of Hell. Considering that Richtofen managed to teleport himself into the Shadows of Evil universe, it isn't too far fetched to say that Richtofen teleported himself to Mob of the Dead to collect these vials of blood. On top of that we see Icarus, the plane that Albert built to escape Alcatraz, is seen in both Shadows of Evil and The Giant. This is evidence that supports how Richtofen managed to get to Shadows. The identity of who is actually on the plane in unknown unfortunately. What he plans to use the vials for is currently unknown, but considering the Summoning Key is filled with the blood of those that the Shadows of Evil character sacrifice during their rituals, he may need them to fill it.

I'm a veteran in the zombies portion of Call of Duty. I've been playing since World at War and have stuck with the game and the story since then. Both World at War and Black Ops 1 featured the Golden Age of Zombies in my opinion. The maps, wonder weapons, unique zombies were all amazing and suited each map so well. When Black Ops 2 came around, the simplicity of the old maps left. We were introduced to buildables which a lot of people didn't like. The maps were mediocre in my opinion and I felt that the overall vibe was gone. It no longer felt creepy as the older maps did. I miss the survival aspect of zombies. I miss the simplicity of the maps. Does anyone else feel the same?
-
Could they be bringing it to Xbox One BC? Black Ops 1 is on it's way so Activision might be jumping on that bandwagon.

Like @NaBrZHunter mentioned, the older zombies maps use alot of the items, buildings, weapons and what not from the campaign. The characters themselves were all in the campaign, under different names. The team behind zombies used those campaign character models to build their own characters. For example, Richtofen's character model was in the World at War mission 'Vendetta' Currently there isn't really canon proof that Zombies shares a universe with the Multiplayer or Campaign aspects of Call of Duty. I do like that you tried to come up with something, but researching a little before posting is very important.

After the Easter Egg we trap the Shadow Man inside of the Summoning Key and Richtofen appears and steals it. I'm fairly sure that it's safe to assume that the characters are now trapped there until they die.

The creatures we fight in Shadows of Evil are put there for a very specific goal in mind. To punish them for their misdeeds and to complete a task. As we see in the opening cutscene, our characters have killed. Because of this, the Shadow Man sends them to a twisted version of Morg City filled with the undead and the apothicon creatures. It's like the Mob of the Dead curse if you will. Four characters are sent to a twisted version of their own world to be punished. This time around however, The Shadow Man has sent us there to both be tortured and to complete his plan destroy the dimension our characters are stuck in.

When you say framework, do you mean we should find a way to collect information that is canonical and work out onto less canon information? If you do, I think the radios might be a good start. As far as I am aware, aren't those recordings canon? Then perhaps we could look at quotes/the various pieces of paper around maps. Like I said, I only just read this so if I'm mistaken by anything please let me know.

Were you guys planning on reviving this? I just read everything on here and I'm really excited what could be found for Der Reise.
-
I was actually wrong. The ADFGVX cipher is the needed to crack the code the loading screen, which hasn't been solved as far as I'm aware. I'll have to look for name of the cipher used to decode the code from the song.
-
Update for anyone curious. The ADFGVX cipher was the one used to solve that particular code.

It's from the song, "Where Are We Going?" from Mob of the Dead. On the video Kevin Sherwood posted, a code popped up halfway through the song. I can't actually remember the name of the cypher that you need to use to decode it, but when the letters where decoded it read, "Let go and the beginning will become the end." It's a nice thought, but given the fact that Mob of the Dead is set in a separate universe to the one that our original crew is in, I doubt it holds significance.

The ending cutscene of Origins is a Der Eisendrache's game ?!
Doppelgänger replied to Difintel's topic in Der Eisendrache
In The Giant's trailer cinematic, the new original four mention to the old Richtofen that they must awaken the test subjects. Now considering that The Giant is the same place as Der Reise, which was a 935 facility, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that the test subjects (being the old and screwed up versions of Dempsey, Takeo and Nikolai) are located there. Considering that the younger characters have travelled through dimensions to this universe, do you think that their presence in the home dimension of the older characters could be making their personalities fuse together with that of the test subjects? Also it's worth noting the clock stopping, maybe because of the new characters entering this timeline, so then the other test subjects are transported to a dimension where they are stuck in an infinite loop. -
I thought that it had been confirmed as an actual thing from way back in Black Ops zombies though?

I'm too busy getting past the fact that I'm going to have to wait an entire month to get my hands on this map.

What kind of perk do you think we'll see?
Doppelgänger replied to Rissole25's topic in Der Eisendrache
I'd personally like Treyarc to go back to the weird and wacky ideas they used to have. As of late a speculated "perk" is hidden in the files of the game known as Liquicity. I'm imaging a perk that was like PHD Flopper in the sense that it worked with the new movement system, i.e. Dolphin Diving from a height resulted in an explosion. How awesome would it be if this "Liquicity" that people are talking about was like PHD where if we slide, it leaves a trail of a certain slippery substance we have seen before, only this time in the form of a perk. It could work the same as the Sliquifier's ammunition did, faster movement speed for allies crossing it and of course the zombies slip and die.- 24 replies

I'd love to see Treyarch go back to it's wacky and wonderful side of zombies. Apparently a "canceled" perk in hidden in the files of the game is called Liquicity. What kind of perk do you think we'll see?
Doppelgänger replied to Rissole25's topic in Der Eisendrache
I'm probably going way too far into the incredibly wacky side of zombies here, but how cool would it be if Liquicity played a role like PHD Flopper. However, when you instead of exploding while you slide (which would be awesome in itself) you leave trails of a slippery substance like the Sliquifier. And any zombies you slide into get knocked over or/and killed. Of course the substance would let people move faster a they cross it.- 24 replies

This is an interesting point that I had never really thought of before. I did a quick review of all of the cinematic cutscenes. In the MotD cutscene you see the zombies lunge teeth first at the inmates, but you never actually see them consume. In the Origins intro it open on the zombie seemingly feasting on human remains, but again it show no more than the zombie quickly snapping the head off and some blood dripping from its mouth. So even in instances where we are (and take this with a grain of salt) not in control there is no indication that the undead a driven by an endless hunger. I think that the zombies are on a "kill mode" like you say. I say this because during the game, the zombies only ever swipe and hit you. They never attack with their mouths like in many modern day zombie movies/shows. Also, when you die at the end of the game, the zombies don't feed on your corpse, they stand and shake their heads until they too die. This obviously shows that their controller uses them to kill, not to feed. Good topic however.
