  1. The caged off area with the washing machine. Horde 'em up in there and exit once you've got all the runners, turn and shoot. Repeat.
  2. I expect... Excitement Anticipation Mild disappointment Anger ...in that order.
  3. I love how frothy people are getting about the XBONE. When I read some of the comments above, I imagine them coming from that angry Francis guy on the YOUTUBEZ! Time to wash all that sand out folks - if you don't want it, don't buy it.
  4. I think this is less of a troll and more someone just sharing information that is new to them. If you ever have a question just click his profile and see his user post's, he's active and decently post's. Besides that he's not actually saying that he unlocked something, just an observation which you can't really troll on unless you're saying you found the horse god On to the matter though, it has been brought up several times. Using the forum search usually helps but with tranzit being vacant lately I don't think anyone will care. I'm not sure where I personally stand on the "2nd Bus" theory. To me the bus is more of an oddity which I believe may be a prototype. There is a lot of evidence out there to collect though including the map's at bus depot showing a 2nd route, the company and the actual bus itself, and also NukeTownZombies or NTZ for most. I brought up Nuketown in this thread because I feel it is relevant for this reason. When playing nuketown and the bus honks you can still hear Marlton inside of the bunker. Meaning, he stays as long as you survive and never actually "leaves" on the bus. We all know how much the bus driver does not like to wait sometimes, to me this shows possible evidence of the bus actually being created or modified at this location. Again, even if these robot buses exist in this time period I feel our Tedd character is unique and almost human in it's ability to process and react to it's environment including sarcastic and dramatic personality trait's. No company would employ or develop such robot's for public bus routes. But all of this doesn't rule out the 2nd bus theory, where did the bus originally come from? Who could've sent it, Maxis? Did his plan kick into action the second he was allegedly shot (for those grassy knoll theorists )? Also how does Marlton go from the bus to a bus depot waiting for the bus? That in itself could prove that maybe our bus is in fact a 2nd bus if the other broke down and we are waiting for another one. Derek, you are absolutely correct. I clearly, at the time, needed a SNICKERS. Apologies for going off half-cocked!
  5. sorry for double post, but i have to deeply disagree here. I agree that kids need to learn responsibilities and to be able to separate real life from not real. Problem is, video games are now so advanced that they seem very real. and 10 years old, much less 5 years old a child is simply not developed enough or mature enough to understand that difference fully. I'm not in the boat saying that violent video games cause school shootings, but 5 years old is WAY too young to be able to handle the mature nature of call of duty, zombies or otherwise. 10 would be my absolute minimum age, and again, def. no live until high school. (other reason for that is out of respect to other players on live, no reason they should have to be forced to play a mature game with mere children) and to this: what age would you allow you child to start drinking alcohol. if as a good parent you can teach your child regardless of age to be a responsible mature person, 5-6 years old? see how silly that sounds? Kids brains are constantly developing, and THAT is what develops them into a mature responsible adult. if the parent teaches them its ok make 'i f***ed your mom" jokes and racial slurs, and even the kind of language the characters say, then thats how they will develop, and then prepare for the notes from teacher about how Johnny kept saying "FUCK YOU FREAKBAGS" at school today. /rant It's Not easy to mix humour and wisdom in the same post, but you've nailed it BIRD. 4 mobsters aren't the best role models for schoolyard interactions! So far early teens seems to be the most prevalent answer, and seems like a good benchmark.
  6. Dude, 7 months after the game is released you think it would be helpful to post about something that occurs in the first part of any TRANZIT game. I call troll.
  7. Just occurred to me...I haven't answered my own question! I've been playing FPS since GOLDENEYE on the N64. Have played ALL the COD's, but only started online with COD4. Played a lot of multiplayer, never gave the zombies a look until a friend showed me the ropes one Friday night...with TRANZIT. That was just last year, at the ripe old age of 35. Found I was sick of being mediocre when we played together so I hooked in and practiced, mostly SOLO. Ended up with a high of round 45 on TRANZIT, but I wanted more! TOWN, FARM and eventually DIE RISE were great to hone my skills, but I wanted MORE! So I went and re-bought BLACK OPS and over two months downloaded all the DLC...got a 50 on ASCENSION, same on MOON...40 on KINO and CotD. And then there was SHANG. Just didn't like it, so never posted a decent round. One day. Decided that if I wanted to be a part of this community, then I'd better get a handle on the original maps too. Enjoyed them all, but DER RIESE really stands out. Was just playing it again last night in fact. Anyway, there's the long version! 35.
  8. For someone who has yet to have children, that is an incredibly well thought out response. Well said.
  9. I think you're right. I've also found that if you turn the 'voice' option down in the audio menu, it removes all those sweary/nasty quotes.
  10. Dude, it sounds like you're ripping on stoners. Surely that can't be the case. No I just re-read it. You are definitely ripping on stoners. Listen, I don't know what the hell is wrong with you, but pull your head in. You need a dose of Cheech and Chong....stat!
  11. Spot on RISSOLE. Would be the most useful stat available, for those who don't always play with a regular crew anyway.
  12. So a couple of questions for you to mull over. 1. What age did you start playing COD Zombies? 2. If you had kids, at what age would you let them play? Forget about the rating...at what age do YOU think it would be suitable for them, in terms of maturity/ability to handle the content and skill set required. I'll let my sons weigh in first. He's 5. He says 5. His brother is 9. He also says 5...probably because he wants to play co-op.
  13. Let's talk full-day and half-day rates. He's a bright kid though, he'll be looking for something above minimum wage. There's also a good chance he'll hang around and critique your high round attempt, once he's handed the controller back. Can you handle being told that "your strategy leaves a lot to be desired" by a 5 year old? It's starting to wear thin with me!
  14. The aggressive downer. Talks the talk, cannot walk the walk. As soon as they go down they start with the; * "you HAVE to revive me 'coz I've got the RAYGUN" * "if you'd been covering me I wouldn't have gone down" * "I lost jug 'coz you made me down" Stupid. Angry. No skills. You know the type!
  15. Step 1 - hand controller to 5 year old son. Step 2 - make and then enjoy a coffee. Step 3 - check up on how the little bloke is going. Remind him to get the REDEEMER, the BLUNDERGAT and the SPORK. Step 4 - take the control back at round 20 and hook in. That's my favourite strategy. Also applies to DIE RISE (make the TRAMP, SLIQ and get all the perks) and TRANZIT (buildables, perks etc). Takes all the tedious set-up time out of the equation and allows for a little bit of daddy/son bonding.
  16. Another 'rap' exception... HANDSOME BOY MODELLING SCHOOL. Take their fifty dollar course.
  17. K-Pop. 5 Korean girls sqeaking on about love doesn't really gel with the experience. You know what is good? KYUSS. Ideal.
  18. Beleive me not too many Xbox users are too thrilled abut buying the EXACT same console again but at a higher prices with high graphics (which I couldn't give 2 Semtex about), and can't play my old Xbox games... But I need it for cod 11 zombies... However if there IS no zombies (which there is, it makes too much $$$ to stop now) I'm just not buying the console, I'll get pc games thank you... The next installment of COD, or COD 11 as you call it, is being developed by Infinity Ward, and therefore will not have a zombies element. Best we can hope for is a 4 player SURVIVAL. Next COD zombies will be late 2014 at best, in my opinion.
  19. Sounds great, but I'm a bit confused. You have recently put together a piece on how you think zombies is straying too far from the basic formula, and that it takes too long to get into the slaying. This sounds like you'd like them to completely re-invent our beloved COD zombies. Seems a little conflicted, but maybe it's just me.
  20. I'd love to see a super-powerful eating utensil, possibly made of a precious metal, that I can use as a weapon. Either that or the AA-12.
  21. My take is, it isn't. It's just evolving. Like any group, zombie fans are all different. Some will like the direction we're heading, others won't. Not much point in hating on what we've essentially asked for.
  22. Kids, don't troll. Trollin's bad, Mmmmkay.
  23. I think it should be aimed at the fans. If you're a fan of zombies, you've played the WAW and BO maps before; learned them, figured out the best strat, gone for a high round and then moved on to the next one. The only ZOMBIES players who haven't done this are casuals. Why would you aim it at casuals when you could please the fans? New maps please!
