Why Are We Attracted to high rounds
Oldmate replied to TEHELFIE001's topic in General Zombies Discussion
ePeen....it's all about the ePeen. Who's is biggest? The one with the highest round. -
How good is the EXTINCTION mode in GHOSTS! It's kinda like ZOMBIES, only it makes sense and there's a point to it all! Can't wait to see the DLC and level up further.
-
Open...need the DT and fridge, not to mention whatever part may be in the shed. I'd have to admit to never running it closed, that does sound intense. If they get around to putting the Wunderfizz on all maps I'll give it a go. I guess I just love that feeling of having them come at you 360 degrees (which I know is technically incorrect) full tilt...find the gap, loop, arc, rinse and repeat. And the PANZER is like an ultra aggressive version of the bus pulling up at FARM...a bit of a pain in the ass!
-
Yeah give it a go for something different. Well not that different...reminds me of running the front of Farm in TRANZIT. Probably gunna have to do it solo though, you'll never convince randoms to leave the gems be.

Is it possible to be a consistent solo player?
Oldmate replied to TEHELFIE001's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I think it's possible to be a consistent solo player, much more so than in multi, as there are so many extra variables in a multi. Consistency relies on a few things though in my opinion - having a workable space in which to chase the high round (not in a living room full of distractions/kids around) and the time to do it. For most of us, I would assume TIME is the biggest difficulty in achieving consistency. I don't bother starting a game at this stage unless i have a solid four hours up my sleeve, and even that often isn't enough. -
Semantics. You know what I was saying. I'm much righter than he is wrong...or something.
-
You are wrong. The walls are triggered the first 'gem' thingy you pick up while in the crazy place. Trust me, I've done a 50 there! But you kinda knew you were wrong eh...just looking for another one? No bites here bro!
-
Easy - don't build any staffs and you've got the easiest training spot in the history of zombies...no walls moving...hell no walls at all. If ya run a RAY GUN, BLUE HAN SOLO and the wall gun that is down there (forget the name) you've got an easy 50+. Won't get ya too far after that. Not having to build the staffs also = 1 less pain in the bum.

Because each one is unique and being able to master one does not mean you are any good at the others. The way a new map unfolds as you learn more about its complexities is unlike anything else on the market in my opinion. Personally, DLC night and a new zombie map was always more exciting than a midnight launch...for ANY game. Just an awesome feeling of anticipation and excitement! Or is that more than one reason? ;)

Not necessarily poorly written...just cobbled together on the run. Commendable that TREYARCH tried to give us a story. Too bad it doesn't make any sense. It's disappointing that the game mode we all love doesn't make sense on a narrative level, but it is, after all, just a game mode. And I understand that there are several people here who have put a HUGE amount of effort into the theories and details, the sound files and textures, the countless pages of argument and counter-argument....but here's the thing...you've been let down. Get over it. I hear there's a great game available with a fairly decent story if that's your thing...Grand Theft something-or-other??
-
It is on the basis of this post, some contributions and a handful of other posts that I will no longer visit this site. You are grasping at straws and, like so many others here, totally unable to accept the outcome. The post above me is spot on. The rest of you are retards.

What I can try to peice together from origins...
Oldmate replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in Origins
Why do you have to 'piece together' anything at all, haven't TREYARCH given you everything you need? Why continue to look for something that isn't there, even in the face of all the evidence? Dude, accept the pathetic ending for what it is; an insult...and move on. If we're lucky GHOSTS will have a sweet 4 player survival mode. -
It's a TOTAL and utter cop-out. Pathetic really. Like I said previously the only way it could be worse is if they used the 'it was all a dream' conclusion. I personally feel we deserve better. At least they get the ability to start again on a fresh IP now. Look forward to see what they try next. We can put all this behind us and move on. So - what are we going to talk about now??
-
I can totally understand that you want more...you've put time and effort into these theories and you deserve better. Clutching/straws. *facepalm* Accept it bro, it's not easy - but we've been had.
-
Wait all you want fellas, a coherent, sensible and satisfying conclusion to this epic saga IS NOT COMING. There simply isn't one to give. That is all
-
Tough to accept, but we've been duped and they've used the weakest narrative device ever to justify the whole thing. The only way this could have been weaker is if it was 'all a dream'. The whole zombies storyline became too convoluted and poorly planned, and this is one of the few 'outs' they could use. See 'LOST' for a television equivalent. For those of you who expected more and had a whole lot invested in this outcome - sorry. This must feel like a real punch in the nuts.
-
Dude, he'll remember that for life. Sometimes, especially if he's doing it a bit tough at the moment, the little things can make the biggest difference. Onya man! Keep looking out for the little bloke.

The UNanswered Questions of BO2 Zombies
Oldmate replied to Infected115's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Fair dinkum, you'll get more answers in LOST than in zombies. Just not going to happen. As most already know, a lot of this stuff just doesn't make sense. Don't try and piece together some sort of profound narrative from what is, at it's core, a simple survival game. Just enjoy blazing away at the hordes of undead!! :) -
So it's the lights...genius! Thanks bro. Swear to god I learn something new every time I log on!
-
I've been going every 5 rounds, and it has been working a treat. Think it's 5.
-
I thought a few things made it look distinctly American, rather than Australian. The CANDY shop would be a LOLLIE shop if it were in Aus. The word SHERIFF seems American to me...wouldn't POLICE be the Aus equivalent? Everything about the bar screams American Old West! Light fittings, piano, bar itself and the table layout....the architecture overall. The COURTHOUSE would look different - the one in BURIED looks distinctly American in layout. The Church also looks American to me, but not for any reason I could put my finger on. OP the thing about theories is they're just that - if people disagree just take it on board, no need to get all edgy about it. Your theory is a long shot and you don't have much in the way of proof, but if you REALLY beleive it, hang in there bro. Just wipe out the sand every so often! : )
-
So how does that clear it up exactly?
-
Maybe they'll go all 'LOST' on us and continue asking questions for which there are NO ANSWERS right up until the end, and then give us a pathetic token wrap up that leaves everyone angry and confused. Just a guess.
-
So if you plot out the three 'spires' and triangulate a central point equidistant to all three it becomes clear that 'ground zero' is Paris. Once the three are powered and we have the last DLC (Paris, duh) the Eiffel tower will become a two way portal that takes the user to both the centre of the earth and the dark side of the moon. Depending on which path you choose, you either end up having a lovely cup of tea with Sam, Maxis or the devil himself. Also, the final DLC will include ZOMBIE POKER which will allow you to play Texas hold 'em with the original 4. Or something.
-
Whinge it up bro - love disappointment about a map....pre-release. What if it's underground to have it fit into an existing space, like green run. Catch the train bro.
