This is why I love this forum, although I don't post much I've always felt welcomed and that my opinions matter. Sure discussing topics that people are so passionate about can get heated, but despite this I have always felt a sense of decorum amongst the CoDZ members. Being a lurker by nature (and not in a creepy way) I don't often post and on most other sites I've encountered this in itself can lead to confrontation. On other sites members would lambaste any post I made on the premise that because I don't post every two minutes my opinion is less valid, or due to the fact that I'm not part of the clique I can go f*ck myself.

How OK are we with remakes?
Wooodd replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in General Zombies Discussion
This right here. They have worked the original maps into the storyline by looking back at them, but bringing back the maps would give them opportunity to reaaly flesh it out. Add some depth to whats already canon. That being said I would prefer new to remastered if done right (by which I mean not BLOPS2). I like how BLOPS did it, a zombie dedicated DLC with 1 new map and the classics. This would be the best case senario I think. A good compromise would be to have a new map per DLC as is the norm, and then for the last one just give us the remakes. I didn't even entertain playing zombies until the back end of BLOPS, and feel like I missed loads. Sure I've since gone back and played through, but thats not the same. Everything is known to you, EE's; storyline; even down to the littlest of quotes. Expanding on the EE's with new storylines and additional intel on whats already known would really revitalise the zombies, and give those of us who missed out last time to really emmerse themselves into the game. It would give new life to the undead. -
Thanks all for the kind re-welcome. @CovertGunman was your 'mission' a success?

Thanks @PINNAZ, and thanks for the BRAINS. I remember a lot of talk about brains when I was here last, but they had stopped handing them out. Good to see they returned. I will have to look into getting my medals back, I'm too vain not too. Not that they were that impressive. I noticed the old Medal Request Thread isn't there to call upon, I will have to go and retake some pics.

So, I thought that a little reintroduction was in order considering its been a while since I was last here. Like the majority of people who frequented this forum I jumped ship like a 'plague-riddled rat' as soon as the Zombie hype started to die down, and now I'm back with my tail between my legs as soon as I sniff a zombie again. Please forgive me my indiscretion. I'm Woood, 32 and from the UK. I'm mainly a lurker (both online and IRL ) but will most likely chip in from time to time. I've noticed some big changes to the site during my absence and I must say brava. Well played to all involved, great job. I have noticed though that during the transition I appear to have lost my medals. Do I have to go about reposting proofs? Any-who, Hi!

Yeah, I was at work and unwilling to do anything productive so came back here (its been a while) Was just creeping round reading a few posts then I thought why not post something.

I always thought there would be more pain, but it’s really quite serine. There is a feeling of bliss coursing through my body as I lay here motionless, covered in my own innards waiting for the inevitable. Time seems to be irrelevant; I know that I have only been in this betwixt state for a matter of seconds, but the clarity I have now is remarkable. This one moment is frozen, no moving forward. Lying here reflecting on my life, reliving the events leading up to this moment with the benefit of hindsight I realise the mistakes that I made. If only I had packed the torch that Billy so intently insisted I take; and maybe a bicycle wasn’t the best mode of transportation given the circumstances. But what does it matter now, perhaps it’s for the best. I used to be so scared all the time, not any more. I can honestly say that in this moment, my back flat on the hard cold concrete, I have never felt so alive. They really did a number on me too, my guts on show for all to see, but still I’m invigorated. Unable to move but full of unrest, the adrenaline is pumping and I’m rearing to go. I understand now too, I never did before but now I do. It makes sense now, everything makes sense. Why they do it, what drives them, where they came from, where the first came from. Everyone blamed the experiments and the Germans; it’s all they ever talked about. How wrong they were. I can feel them now, not physically touch them, but feel them. They’re in my head with me, every last one of them. I am part of them now; we are together and at peace and it is beautiful. This is how things should be, united as one with the same goals and objectives. A hive with one purpose… [tab][/tab]to expand. We can feel my legs again, it must be time. We must stand and we must find others to join us. Together we can all be at peace. We will find you, all of you, and give you this gift. We are coming. Don’t fight us and don’t hide from us, we are your salvation!

Excellent post Alpha, I remember hearing Richtofen in Origins say something along the lines of "I know what you really are" to Samantha at some point in the game. I've heard it a few times, whilst in Zombie Blood as Richtofen. This does back up your theory quite well. ZombieGK, your a quotation machine, do you have this quote down? I'm pretty sure it was in Zombie Blood. The different accents have got me though. Being around for several millennia you would witness countless different accents and dialects, however if you were a greater being such as Satan and are truly omnipresent there is no way such a fundamental part of your facade wouldn't be spot-on at all times. My current thinking is that the Samantha in Origins is Satan, The Devil, Beelzebub, a Demon, Vonderhaar, whatever were referring to the greater evil as these days. Upon her/him/it encountering Maxis she/he/I/they (stuff it, for arguments sake I'll keep it as she and call her Satantha) saw an opportunity and attempted to persuade him to help her. After failing the O4 then came along and succeeded where Maxis could not, and freed Satantha, in a sense. Satantha was able to place herself in a time-frame alongside Maxis as his daughter years later, after Maxis was re-implanted into a new body by Richtofen. The fact that we never hear of Samantha's Mother could well be because there is no Mother, in essence there is no Samantha. With regards to the rest of the story from here I'm drawn to Satantha just happening to end up on Moon and just getting 'caught' by the MPD at the right time to enter it. This may not have been accidental, the MDP could hold the key to a larger plan for Satantha but not being corporeal before now she never had the means to enter it. If the MPD is the gateway to Agartha, could Satantha benefit from gaining access to it? We don't know that she is in Agartha in Origins, other than if we take her word for it, yeah right. Her plan could have been to escape "Hell" and gain access to Agartha all along. I can see there are holes in this train of thought, such as why would she respond to Maxis from inside the MPD if he was of no use to her anymore, but its a work in progress. Anyway, great thread Alpha, just as thought provoking as ever.

You have to activate 6 generators, not your team. You have to be on the platform as the powering process completes 6 times. If your friend does obe at the otger side of the map is doesn't count for you. Also to note it isnt all 6 generators, its just 6. so after templar guys come round let them shut one down if you dont get it and then reactivate it. You can do the same generator more than once. I made a tutorial for the challenges if you interested. http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=155&t=36256

We are the Flesh... ...but who are 'we'. I think pretty much everyone and their pets are now of the same train of thought that Stupidjer is a member of this fine establishment, but have we met any other "Fleshies" on our travels through the gorious world of Zombies? Lets investigate. Now the first person that jumps into my mind when looking for "Fleshies" is Richtofen. Thoughout his Zombie slaying career he has had voices running through his head telling him what to do just like Stu has. Now I know Eddie is bat-s**t crazy and this alone could explain his inner voices I dont think this is the case. Hell knowing how Richtofen likes to make his presence known at all times he could well be the 'He' who abandoned this motley crew of Zombie munching crazies. This would explain how Richtofen knows what Stu as done, because he would know that only "Fleshies" would even here him. Well this and the fact that he is omipresent at this point. Next up on my "Fleshies" parade is Yuri Kravcheski, assistant to Gersch in Ascension. During the transmissions we hear how Yuri is contacted by Samantha and persuaded to do her bidding. Many have said that this is due to his exposure to 115, but if this was the case why can't the other characters here Richtofen talk to Stu? (unless they can and just pretend not to because they dont like Stu and want him to think he's going crazy). Last on my list are the O4 (oh no he di'nt). Richtofen I've gone through above but the other three whilst they aren't fully fledged members, they are all inadvertant "Fleshies" because of the Zombie Blood in Origins, when in ZB they here Samamtha much more and her communications are directed at the individual rather than generic "Help, I'm stuck, moan moan moan" we normally get. So in summary, I believe that exposure to 115 does give some ability to hear the 'controller', consumption seems to be what gives the controller the ability to single you out and try and take control. Can you guys think of any other instances where a characters behaviour may indicate "Fleshie" status? Do you think there are more "Fleshies" in our story than Stu, or is this thread just jibberish?

A lot of people have said this, that box must not like me :?
-
Mine's still there too. Haven't done all the EE's yet though so maybe it is just those who 'Push the Button'
-
Thanks for taking my suggestion onboard. Are these challenges all solo?

A thought for a challege if your taking suggestions: Brofist Challenge Fill all boxes in as low a round you can Fewest kills decides position in event of tie Must collect fist after filling boxes

Hahaha, No there's no tricks. The only thing I can recommend is only having two teammates pick up the EMPS. Open up the portals prior to throwing the first EMP. It may take you two or three tries to time it correctly; but it seems like the easiest way to get it done. Yeah we thought that too. oh well it will only take an hour on Buried to refill our banks so no dramas

115 for 115 As this is my 115th post on the site, it seems only fitting that it be 115 related. I’ve only been on this site for a month now and I can already see that you guys are some of the best theorists on the internet. I’m sure that the bulk (if not all) is already common knowledge around these parts but hey-ho, I gotta post something right. The number 115 is very important in Zombies; it holds such an important role in the game that any avid Zombie fan smirks IRL whenever they see the numbers 1, 1, 5 anywhere. Be it a bus which flies past you brandishing this number, the price of a canvas picture, or even if you glance at the clock at it happens to be 13:15. You cannot deny it, whenever you see these three digits all you can do is It is the IRL 115 phenomenon I want to talk about today. Before I discovered Zombies 115 was just another number, as random as anything else. However since playing Zombies I have noticed that 115 is much more prominent that I first believed. The most mentioned IRL reference to 115 I’ve seen (other than the actual element 115 that is) is the fact the Price William is in the RAF’s 115th Regiment of Foot. In addition to this his birth certificate number is LSBSS115 and it is entry number 115. That’s a lot of 115 for just one man, especially someone so high profile and with obvious German connections. I smell conspiracy Then there is the Bible passage in 1 Corinthians 15. This Passage is in the spoiler below for anyone interested (I have separated the verses onto separate lines for ease), the readings have numerous references to the dead rising. Let’s be honest with ourselves at this point though, wasn’t Jesus the first to rise from the dead? Our Zombie Alpha as it were. Another instance of 115 is on the back of some UK Driving Licences. On the back of the licence there is a list of codes with different meaning, 115 made me laugh just because this is the code to show you are an Organ Donor :? I couldn’t find a pic of the code on a card, but here’s a link to the DVLA website with a list of the codes. https://www.gov.uk/driving-licence-codes This year there was a Lunar Eclipse (albeit only a partial one) on 25th April 2013. So what, I hear you say. Well it was the 115th day of the year, obviously. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_2013_lunar_eclipse In short either 115 is everywhere, or I am looking too hard to find it. Either way it gave me something to write about for my 115th Post. Now it’s your turn, where is the most unlikely / funniest place you have seen the digits 115? Let me know below.

This photo still not complete? Wow, I thought that everything would have been done by now. Time to run around the map wit a DSR me thinks

Do we have the worst luck in the world or is it common for that damned box to never give out EMP's. Me and a few friends finally decided to go for the Tower of Babble on Richtofen's side (we did when it first came out but gave up because of, you know, shit map) all of us had full banks and emptied them to go rape the box. That's 250,000 points each, 1 million points (puts little finger to corner of mouth and sniggers) thrown at the box and only 1 of us walked away with EMP's. Is there no way to increase your odds of getting them?
-
Didn't this get patched? Not been on anything other than Origins since it was released so can't be sure. Thought I'd heard something though.

Guess this never happened. Lack of uptake?
