Just a little update, we are now into the release candidate stage of the application for medals. So maybe within a week or two we will have a full release. As it stands at the moment we have a couple of minor bugs which have just been reported. Database wise we have two awards systems, it will automatically upgrade the original Awards system before we upgraded to the next awards system (which had auto awards). We only need it to update the last awards system we used. Image wise, it is not reading the full path when processing the upgrade and images are not showing. The new awards system is pretty powerful, it works with another application we have installed called rules - this is a background system but it works on the premise of "if" the member has posted in introductions, check if they have medal, check if 1st post in topic, if yes, award introduction medal. If member donated, check if in donors group, if no award donors medal. If member has 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 posts etc. award medal A lot of self automation is available with these two system but some will require manual intervention but we can work with awards and achievements and separate these two within the same application. Not long to go now.

It's due to you not being in the "member" group as you are technically still a "new member" upon 5 posts you move groups but I have amended the setting for the "new members" group so you can edit.

I'll have a look later, only mobile at the moment but most likely a permissions issue or time sensitive for editing.

Lets give @madgaz182 a bit of a break, to be honest, he is creating topics and getting people discussing the game (current maps and DLC maps). I'm all for that as long as it's with the CoC (Code of Conduct) I haven't got an issue with it. With thousands of topics on here, it is extremely possible to have topic titles very similar considering the niche game we all play.

Topic title is misleading and YouTube channel self promotion is verging on spamming - I support you in the aspect of trying to find things but trying to and misleading people is a thin line. Just be aware from now on about self promotion - keep up the good work on trying to find things though.

@Pasta I'm not sure when you actually stopped using the site, but a problem a few years back happened with the brains and so forth and may be difficult to get the same medals etc back again from any records. However, we are currently awaiting the release of the new awards system for V4 of the forum software. We have been without medals since April last year when we upgraded but those with medals from the PHPBB days will need to request them again. We are currently testing the new medals system which has huge benefits over the previous incarnations but for those that had medals on the V3 software of IPB will have them reapplied.

I've only been about for 2 weeks this month but I do recognise the work of both @83457 @Ragdo11706 before I went dark til the 5th January. keep up the good work.

@Dervish Grady why you would post teammate requests in a section dedicated for intruductions is beyond me. benefit of doubt supplied, topic locked.

@akchick @MightyPanda33 not sure why you would be posting teammate requests in a forum which is clearly for introductions but I'll give you both the benefit of doubt. We have an LFG system for finding teammates, please use this. Topic locked.

No they aren't linked in any way other than the version. The space x rocket being called V2 dragon, rockets have been referred to as dragons in the past. It's my opinion that whilst Treyarch prepared the story that they looked for inspiration, that being space (moon), rocket (V2) and in this map the rocket being called Dragon that reaches the moon. The iron dragon in my opinion is referring to the V2 base (the castle) because it houses the rockets that Richtofen uses.

I would say it's graphical at present.

Just for clarity, remember V2 rockets were used to bomb the UK but the could and did reach space and widely regarded as the first to reach space in 1942.

Those are german V2 rockets in the picture.

Of course it's modern, it's from the Space X race, it's not that it's modern it's the name "V2 Dragon". Could simply be coincidence but a rocket, space, V2 and dragon, that's some coincidence

As promised,after checking with colleagues/friends - the email I received back (company sensitive info removed). I believe the name is the alias for the castle but also due to the rockets imho. Google "Space X V2 Rocket"
