If anyone would like to put a donation forward, we would greatly appreciate any and all contributions. As you all know, we have done a lot of work recently and some things are still missing and we are aware of this (such as medals, user of the month etc.) but these will all come back soon (don't have timescales). However, advert income alone doesn't keep things alive and generally it comes out of our own pockets but if you can give a donation, we thank you and you'll receive the donor award group and medal. If not, no stress we thank you for being a member, we realise not everyone can donate but those that can and have spare cash, we would welcome it (we ain't struggling, but it would be helpful in the short and long term).

I'm going to lock this topic, only on the basis that you can all kiss my ass I never got one

When you see a member of staff or another member referring to the CoC, they are referring to the Code of Conduct for callofdutyzombies.com Since the upgrade this has not been present, however, we have now added the CoC back to the site and slightly updated the CoC as well (it may require a few tweaks). This can now be found under the more menu. If you have any questions, suggestions for the CoC please leave a post so we can review and discuss. http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/index.php?/guidelines/

Couple of things. Not going to be around for the next week, taken the family away for a wee holiday.
1: Anything needed addressed, the other members of staff are more than capable of helping
2: See you when I get back
3: Take My Money #BOIII Zombies

How many and where?

Anyone considered that "follow up" doesn't necessarily mean in regards to timeline but just a follow up to the last map from BOII.

Small change implemented today, we have made the forum the default landing page for the time being.

I have fixed a few additional issues today, some in the admin control area, the others are from the front user end. Basically adverts are now fixed, if you access the site from any device the will now respond to the screen size, however, if you resize the screen (i.e. snap in windows to half size) you may need to do a refresh of the page). I have not tested this in tablets yest going from landscape to portrait for example. I have added addition theme options now, we have three options available. All of these have the same theme just different layout, mobile desktop is the desktop version of the site without any responsive design implemented. So it's basically the full site from a PC/Laptop on a mobile or tablet. The plan is to add the world at war, black ops, black ops II pages this weekend and then to add the zombie library in due course. We will update you all on how things are progressing.

We performed quite a large update today to address a couple of issues with the new software, we are now running the most up to date version of the software. We held off from performing previous update releases so that we could address pretty much most of them all at once. Some more updates are due to be released and new features will be coming shortly as well. Here is a brief list of what we addressed today. Many bugs fixed both from tickets and bug tracker. A focus on ticket-related issues. Many performance improvements. More will come in next release but you should see a difference. LegacyParser does not convert hyperlinked YouTube URLs that were parsed into videos in 3.x Fixing iOS crashing on topic view (and potentially any other comment feed) Issue causing certain pages to take a very long time to load Improved Spam Monitoring Service handling and extended to apply to registrations from 3rd party login systems Error when searching members with certain configurations for custom profile fields Search index efficiency improvements Guest caching feature can now be used with MySQL (previously required a caching engine like memcached) Fix for common problems with queue task locking Topic-view loading efficient improvements that should also improve loading on iOS devices New mobile pagination Max width option for video embeds Out of memory errors on larger sites fixed Security and privacy enhancement for those using file system data storage option Security and privacy enhancement for system-generated log files You can now choose three options for file attachments in any post content: No files, Images only (this will actually check to make sure an uploaded file is a valid image), all files (this is default) If you choose "All files" you have the option to provide a list of allowed file extensions. If you leave it blank (default) any file extension is allowed. If a user makes a post or comment and then makes another post or comment on the same item before any other user, the posts will be merged. There is a setting to disable or set the time limit for this to happen. There is a clear, visual indication when a merge happens to avoid confusion to the end user.

The plan is to have the twitch stream service which was on the previous forum version return once it has been updated for IPB. Until then we don't have it but we will bring it back. That way you can add any stream to it and a list of active stream will show on the right of the forum main index.

What happens is if unread posts/topics exist they will be white, if all topics/posts have been read they will be then they will be a duller colour. The plan is to change these, they are basically font awesome images and we can use what we want to use font awesome wise or we can use images. We did have the BOIII logo but before we moved hosts I was optimising things for speed and those got temporarily removed. They will probably come back, once IPS allow to call the same image once, rather than 50 separate images (all the same image).

PS4 gets dlc first?

Ban them, find out if they have a youtube account, destroy that youtube account, and get the guy a permaban here and anywhere he goes. Even twitter. That is not what we will do at all, don't presume the staff here will do what other sites did. We haven't done it here and unless the CoC has been broken then they haven't technically broken any rules. We might have a wee quite chat with them but we'll make that decision and not you. -

That's right folks, you read that title correctly. This year, @Flammenwerfer and @Covert Gunman will be attending the 2015 E3 Expo in Los Angeles. This means that we will be providing you, the community, with on-the-minute coverage of various Black Ops 3 news, announcements, and hands-on experiences. Be sure to check out the Front Page as we dish out coverage, and follow us on Twitter @CoDzombieforum to get our up to the minute news (please note: I will not hesitate to tweet hilarious pictures). If you have any questions that we might be able to answer, feel free to drop a comment in this thread!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is set to stand apart from other titles in the COD due to the new player control system on new-gen Xbox One, PS4 and PC. That's according to directors Dan Bunting and Jason Blundell, who recently outlined some of the changes being introduced in BO3. Player's will have the renewed focus of staying peeled for combat situations, while map movement is another aspect of the game Treyarch have sought to revise. And while Black Ops will continue to offer some of the classic level structure that has become a hallmark of the brand, set-piece fire-fight situations, it will also push to bring challenges to how the enemy movement and the layout work together. "We still push people into choke points and constrain heights, but we wanted to give players an extended mastery curve, to expand the upper limits of how they learn movement through the map,” Bunting reveals in the latest issue of Edge magazine. “We automate a lot of things. We let players concentrate on the combat; everything else is fluid – it sublimates to a primal part of your brain." Campaign director Jason Blundell added: "With the greatest reverence and respect for [Call of Duty], sometimes the tactic is just left trigger, right trigger, dead. “With some of our new AI archetypes, that won’t be viable. We’ve also opened up the spaces, so you need much better situational awareness.” We already know that core game mechanics have need to be overhauled to make way for four-player co-op and a move away from the traditional enemies seen in COD. And it looks to be the ideal time to evolve the franchise away from what fans will most likely expect from the traditional Call of Duty experience, what with the extra power supplied in the Xbox One and PS4. Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia recently explained some of the finer points of centering the campaign on a co-op experience, revealing that an emergent AI was needed to supply the same trademark battle situations, along with the altered interplaying game-style fixed for the campaign. "For us it was critical because we soon as we decided to make a co-op game, but yet we needed to make it feel like a Call of Duty game.." Lamia explained. "It has to actually adapt and respond and there has to be emergent AI in those situations."

and we should all be playing BOIII - what are we all hoping for? It's a pipe dream, but I'm hoping that Treyarch realise and appreciate that some (if not all) players want enhanced BO/BOII for the current gen consoles (now that my 360 is gathering dust). I want to see a launch map (or two) that has a serious amount of replay ability and improved matchmaking and for glitchers to be punished as well as dash boarders. Apart from that, I want to see the core of Zombies to be retained. What's your thoughts?
