Me and the wee boy got to the 2nd last step of Origins EE last night, found 2 randoms very helpful as well. Shame the wee man struggled to get one inch punch upgraded down in the dig site - we left it a bit late (round 23) - we all died shortly after.

Just so you are all aware, although not a bug - it is how the featured topic works, it will always show the avatar for the last person that replied. I've been in touch with the author to see if we can default it to the topic starter and I have also reported the bug of topic replies not updating.

I personally think Pinnaz, Boom, Rissole, Undad, Mega amongst others are all worthy of being in the committee, to many to mention but I think a few people are in line for this - maybe 3 to 6 months appointment and then open up the committe to others to take over for 3 to 6 months and so forth.

To be honest, I like Choppers original idea of voting on the topic, but I think time frames for votes and so forth could be critical. Maybe utilising the UoTM for suggesting to us topics for the week is a role they could fulfill and possibly the better solution? Obviously the reward for UoTM is the cyan robes and that in itself is a decent recognition, maybe having the ability to nominate a topic each week. whilst they are UoTM could be a benefit of the robes. We could potentially add more onto that as well. With the robes comes responsibility for that month, they could approve calendar events for example, approve streams (just examples) could be worth investigating further.

Aware of that aspect, looking into it. I think top of the forum looks good, sidebar would be too small I think, especially with other things we are looking at.

Yeah, mines are all borked on BOII, noticed it last night, no biggie to be honest. -
That's it active, featured topic, myself and Ben (Chopper) discussed and opted to use MurderMachineX's topic as the starting topic, it's 169 pages long, it has over 67k views and has over 3,300 replies. We think a great topic to start of with and get some more user participation into the topic itself. It does have a bug with it not updating the replies in the featured topic itself, but I'll investigate that and see what might be causing that.

Exactly. So, putting things in place to not only be able to obtain the ToTW, they can also be in with a chance to win UoTM as well. I mean, to get 4 topics featured in one month would deserve a secondary medal. As well as the medal of having a topic featured but at the same time be in with a chance to win UoTM if nominated. As chopper mentioned previously, it's coincidence that these have come around at the same time but they benefit each other hugely.

Why? I understand that it something else to do, however, in this period of off season anything that can assist in bring contributions forward and making the activity of the site thrive surely needs to be looked at and tested.

ToTW is my thoughts, I don't think any topic should be excluded, I would say allow nominations for any topic, it's up to you the users to vote for the best out of all the ones nominated. Putting limits of 12 posts and so forth, just means you and us needs to check on these prerequisites before nominating. I'm not taken anything away from Naitrix here, he has been on at us (PM'ing me) to remind me about the featured topic and random topic feature that he suggested and I said I would take forward. I was taken it forward, once we had the applications (which we happen to have now). It just so happens to tie into the ToTW suggestion that Chopper has come up with as well. Anyway, screen shot time

Just back from a 16 hour shift, 10 hour round trip and 6 hours on site. One unhappy client, I thought we could fix the issues in 1 day, turns out we couldn't and nothing we can do due what believe to manufacturing faults. I hate unhappy clients, I also hate poor workmanship.

Gotta love that. I remember once driving 500 km between sites in NSW to get halfway and find out our network link provider had not sent something in time which meant we would be arriving somewhere at 2pm with nothing to do for the day, needing another 300km trip in the morning to fly home. Clients and providers suck at times

Just coming up for 7pm and I'll be in bed by 8pm, up at 2am and then a 5.5 hour drive to Thurso (very top of Scotland) a stones throw from the Orkney Islands. Away to fix some sliding doors and leaking windows - should only take 5 or 6 hours. Then another 5.5 hour drive home. Should get home at about 8pm tomorrow. #going to be a long day.

shaky start with dbz, mmx and dbz friend jay, connection with live a bit flaky - couple of disconnects and so forth but tranzit and die rise now and fter 4 hours. 2.5 / 3 hours of connection issues though, persevrance is the name of the game. Buried to go after an hours break.
