COD 2015's era: Future or past
lead_psychopath replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in Research & Development
I would like to go back in time. Back to WW2, or WW1. My biggest fear with Advanced Warfare is the new exo abilities. How could you possibly go back in time and include them? WW1 trenches with double jump abilities and jetpacks? Somehow I don't think so. Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk -
Is ANYONE opposed to custom characters?
lead_psychopath replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in Research & Development
WIthout a reason I'm just going to assume you're trying to be hipster. Ok mocking, you twisted my arm. I hate the way with multiple endings of games, you have to complete them so many times to get all of the endings. I love freedom in a game, but only to the degree of when I'm not playing the story, I can do things. I'm a player who would check out every room on a level to make sure I didn't leave anything behind. Do I want to do that several times just so I can see a different 2 min fmv. No. No I don't. I feel customisation is a similar issue with me. The choices. The choices! Yeah I'd love that snazzy hat, ooh, what about that mask! Ah man, this camo is well cool! How do I decide what to go for?! But wait a minute, I can't see it on myself?! Derp, it's a first person shooter! Customisation would be sold to me if I could customise how I saw other players. Not how I look to them, but they look to me. Yeah, that'd be really nice. -

Me. I hate custom characters, don't ask me why. I also hate multiple endings to games, I much prefer a more linear structure, so it's probably to do with that. Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk -
Yep, all the time. I'm always trying to beat my high rounds, for a long time it was to beat 50, then 60, now I'm trying to get to 70. It's all solo though, unfortunately I find Co op games way too long, especially now that I've gotten better at the game ( at the beginning of Black Ops 2, my highest round was 17!!!) One thing that I discovered last night that has given me a fresh lease of life for the game is playing with randoms again. Last night I had a game of town, by round 9 I'd had 11 revives. Nuketown today was the same, had about 20 revives by round 19! I'd forgotten how much of an ego stroke it is playing with randoms! sent from my brain using 115 and magic

This thread has already been created. WaW is my favourite zombies game, mainly because of the weapons. I much prefer the wonder weapons from Black Ops 1 (including tacticals), and the maps I felt were better. But it was Black Ops 2 that got me into zombies in the first place (it was the first game I'd bought dlc to), so it does hold a little place in my heart. My biggest problem with BO2 is the time it takes to do things. Gone are the days of shorter games, and Buried is so incredibly easy, that I'd need a solid 5 hours to beat my Co-op record. sent from my brain using 115 and magic

How Nuketown could have been better
lead_psychopath replied to Zombie_Slayer_115's topic in Nuketown
Couldn't have said it better myself. I love Nuketown, and I think it shoves players out of their comfort zone. Having said that I would've loved a proper wonder weapon for the map. Either something unique, or something like the Wunderwaffe. sent from my brain using 115 and magic- 15 replies

Why is there no double zombies XP weekend?
lead_psychopath replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in Research & Development
No man, I really don't agree with you on that one. It would be new for zombies, and it would probably push any WaW player over the edge. I'm all for prestigeing (much like extinction, you don't get anything for it, just a new emblem), but the very second new guns get thrown into the equation, it throws everything off. The RGM2 was available to anyone who bought the third map pack, so you didn't have to work for it. It wasn't an unlockable. The leaderboards would be shattered if you started to throw in unlockables. The next game comes out, X player is ranked in the top 1000 players for the new map, he's happy, and gives up for the night. But Y player is ranked 5000. But he's dedicated, so keeps on playing and unlocks a new gun. Suddenly he finds that his new gun is the cats pajamas. Lands himself into the top 500 because he's skilled with it. Meanwhile player X still has aways to go before he unlocks the new weapon. I get where you're coming from, and zombies needs to diversify a little bit so it's not just rinse and repeat. The leaderboards work because everyone's given the same loadout, it's your skill that determines what round you get to. I get a new gun that's unlockable, suddenly I'm at an unfair advantage. It doesn't matter whether all the unlockable guns are as powerful as each other. Although it would make it fair, what's the point in unlocking guns that are all the same? Just my 2c sent from my brain using 115 and magic Edit: @Naitrax, as I was typing my response, you already got it! -

I really don't want to wait another fifteen months for new zombies -
What is your favorite "WEAPON" in zombies?
lead_psychopath replied to CBR_600_RR's topic in General Zombies Discussion
WaW: I always get the name wrong, but I think it's the ppfs? So many bullets for a normal machine gun. BO1 : Gotta be the Ray Gun. Or the Wunderwaffe Dg2. BO2: the Executioner or more specifically the Voice of Justice. I have had so many epic escapes with it! -
Only 15 months to go. We need a treyarch game counter on the front page. Also I dare someone to work out how many seconds that is until the game is out. If we have Paris there is a lot of things I want, the Catacombs should be like a map by there own. I also think there should be a lot of stuff going on with the map and it should have a cool twist on it. Things like the Eiffel Tower may be for the Easter Egg but not like the towers in Black Ops 2, I want the Eiffel Tower to be the place that we last see the O4 on. Like after that we dont see them until obviously if they had a game after, making Paris the finale of next game. I'm not sure man, it could make an epic re-entrance for the O3 + Sam. If they do a proper job on it, it could be a cracking disk map. With perhaps the Easter Egg being something to do with getting Richtofen back into the group. But hell, at the moment I'd welcome anything that's new for zombies! Just as a side, what parts of Paris could they use? We've got the catacombs and Eiffel tower as ideas at the moment.

Maybe they're just waiting for the right time. With the next gen consoles, maybe they could do a mega epic job on the catacombs. I kinda love and hate these kind of threads. I love talking about what's to come, then I realise how long we have to wait. :-( Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk

Technically, the machinery at the spawn in Buried is running too, not sure if it's worth a mention though. Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk

It isn't my post XD someone thought the MK II was too but it wasn't so why address it to me?Probably because you posted a lot on this thread and the RGM2 thread. Probably between us we actually had more threads on the RGM2 thread than mocking me. I would say that is pretty true lol We should just rename ourselves as Thread Hijacker #1/2 I'm out of this thread though. Hijacked it enough already!

I hate who's who with a passion. There's tricky, and there's stupid. A few nights ago a friend and I were having a great game of die rise. On the shaft with galvaknuckles, he got stuck on a zombie and ended up falling to his death. I ran all the way round to get him, and ended up going down on exactly the same spot. Where did who's who spawn me? IN MID AIR, HALFWAY DOWN THE SHAFT. I was down before I'd even realised what happened. The ultimate fix for me, is that you got jug. It'd make all the difference.

WHY must it end the game when you disconnect?
lead_psychopath replied to PunchAPack's topic in General Zombies Discussion
He's not asking how to get a better connection for sure. But I said I'd give my 2c on how i fixed it for myself. Problem with switch to offline mode is that your game still wouldn't be saved to the leaderboards. -

lead_psychopath replied to PunchAPack's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I second that it's most likely your connection mate. For Ps3, the easiest solution is to port forward it or shove it into a DMZ. I assume you can do the same for xbox too. Litterally I've gone from logging out every second game, to never logging out Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk -
I'm pretty sure if it's hotfixed in anyway it changes the patch number. Also if it was hidden surely someone would've noticed something by now. I also call BS on this one. Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk

Again though guys, how could anything be changed without a hotfix at least?
-
I didn't think zombies could be won. It's one of the addictive features to zombies, no matter what happens, or how good you are, eventually you die. And then lose. But to answer your question, I think you made the OP too map specific. If I could pick any win, it'd be on Nuketown. 3 player game and all 3 of us got cornered in the same spot, I managed to train in a spot about 5x the size of the player. If you're on ps3 you should check out my player channel, it's saved on that. Really was amazing. Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk

i will go check now Nightmare Voyager to the rescue! I'd check it myself, but I'm at work. :-(

What about a hotfix @GameChanger? I'm not sure if the patch number (on the main zombies menu, it's probably got a proper name, but I haven't got a clue what it is) is the same on PS3 as Xbox, but on PS3 it's ended with a .1 for months now. Anybody fancy logging on to see if its been updated to a .2?
-
I like the idea of having it back. And I'd argue that it's pretty easy to obtain anyway, the only difference is that it'd be quicker if you got it from the box. But I love the idea of grabbing drops, zombies etc. I can't wait to see if sledgehammer's grappling hook mechanic actually works, in which case I'd sooner see that as a tactical. GTA V was still 2 discs... EDIT: Was it actually? I cannot remember now... Mine wasn't?!
