Do you guys play WaW on Steam, xbox or playstation?
lead_psychopath replied to Phoonzer's topic in World At War
PlayStation. But you're going to get more responses if you put a bit more in your op. Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk -
I get what you're saying 100% But Ghosts really does have a massive problem with spawning. For example earlier today I was having a game of dom. Our team only had flag A, other team had B and C. The other team started to spawn trap us. So what happened? We start spawning on C. Really?! On free for all, I have spawned in multiple times on top of enemies, sometimes I kill them, sometimes they kill me.

Yes. That is totally brilliant. Where would my usernames end up on your list? Thecalmquail Theslickonion LEAD_PSYCHOPATH Infact, that's actually one of the reasons I lowered the case on this forum. On psn it doesn't matter about case, people will still find me if they add me and people hopefully weren't like "Oh god, who's this tool who shouts a lot".

Nah there's two. The running one is better for ammo (I must admit I've never tried the edge strategy.) Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk

I appreciate that people find that an easy strategy on Origins, but for me it's down central. I cannot run that spot to save my life. Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk

You know, I hissy quit so many times when origins first came out because of lack of Co operation with the fists. I'm at stamin-up "I'm bringing a train to the church, please don't destroy it." *player runs from Jug to church, kills whole train* Rage quit. -
I was also wondering that. I didn't have the world map, I had the diner and candy.

That's very interesting about the team Screw. I've really noticed it recently where my friend and I either do really really well or really really badly. There doesn't seem to be a happy medium at the moment. Back to the spawns again though, I had a game earlier where the spawns kept flipping, like every 15 secs, and then just stopped altogether! We kept getting spawned next to a room on stormfront where the enemy team was camping, so we kept running out and dying. Was a bit annoying. On the note of other maps though, in the last two days ive had a lot of stormfront, whiteout and stonehenge maps in circulation. Still no Seige though. :-(

For me it'd be including BO1 and WaW! One night I hit the box and I got the RPG 8 times in a row!!! I ended up taking it after that because the game clearly wanted me to have it!

I was really struggling to work out the gun that I pull out the least. Then I realised it's the same as yours smith, the wave gun. I've actually only had it once! I seem to pull the rpg out the most, and I don't even use it. Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk

Moral of the story: Don't play with randoms! -
@DeathBringerZen I think you and a few other players had confirmed this on the Activision forums had you not? I wouldn't be able to give proof from codz, but I'm nearly certain several threads were made about it on the Activision forums. Unfortunately, at the time Buried came out I had no idea how awesome codz was! Edit: so I just went searching on the Activision forums, and opinions are kinda mixed up. Back in July lots of people said that several people got the RGM2 ingame, but most of them were talking about Buried. In August/September opinion had changed to that only one person could get it outside of Buried. @MegaAfroMan you don't feel like going back on that game in theatre mode do you?
-
Wow. I thought that was me just being a tool at the game! Did not realise that was an issue when the game came out. I have a bit of a farfetched theory. I play on very slow internet (2mb), and sometimes it can take a while to connect to the multiplayer servers. A few patches ago, it got really really difficult to connect. Literally it would be "connecting to servers" for 5 Mins or so. Watching one of driftors videos he commented that they had changed some of the coding on the matchmaking system/server coding (I'm afraid it was a while ago, I couldn't tell you which video it was). Anyway, last patch my connection problems disappeared. It now connects in about 30 seconds. BUT, it often states that no lobbies are available, so I have to back out a few times and then it seems to connect. (finally at the theory) My theory is that somebody has messed up some of the coding, and they've had to revert back to some of the original coding, hence why we're seeing spawning problems and bizzare lumps holding you back. Problems that were there on release.

Ever noticed how its easier to get on Buried, I can guarantee I get it on that map more than any. Also it was hyped to be in Buried so I dont know how much more evidence people want, its better than it being built in the Aether which has never happened before. Something else about the ease of getting it on Buried, is also that every player can carry It. No other map has that feature, definitely worth a thought.

Ok. I'm now even more undecided. What the terminal states is EXACTLY what you said, a second generation gun is being developed by H Porter. But, if you scroll down to the wonderwaffe Dg2, it also states that the weapon has a newer generation that is under development. The DG3. Which would ultimately suggest that the model that H Porter has worked on, was the original raygun, pack a punched. But it says DG3-JI not DG-JZ so I ignored it as it may start to get us onto a discussion of is there going to be some new form of Wunderwaffe. Does the upgraded version decrease splash damage? Also why would someone create a pack a punch variant when we have a machine for it? Very true. But COD wiki is infamous for misinformation and typos, so I took it as that. BUT, you are quite right with the peripheral damage bit. I can't say I've ever noticed that the PaP'd raygun has a smaller splash radius, but I do find I down myself a lot more when it's unpackapunched. Either way, there is absolutely no splash damage with the RGM2, so yeah... Our arguments are now sadly over. :-(

Oh boy, it was even worse last night. I was spawning on top of people, infrastructure of people. I'm pretty sure I spawned in front of a guy adsing at one point! Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk

EXACTLY. The one recurring point is we really don't know. Nightmare, you're ideas are excellent. Logically, you're bang on. The only reason you haven't won this discussion is because we don't have any proof. Your argument would be totally void if it was called Jeff's Epic Raygun. Does anyone remember how disappointed people were when it was revealed it was called Porters Mark two raygun? Not some fancy name? (actually, I think it was probably just a syndicate video that I'm referring to there). We know Porter created the first actual working weapon known as the Ray Gun so why wouldnt Porter make the MKII, anyways as I say the name is in the Pap version and in the Vbush Terminals or somewhere in the terminal it mentions a Second version being developed by H.Porter. Maybe if you really dont believe my theory wait till next game if it gets more story we will know the truth, if not we can work on a different theory that fits. Somewhere at some point I've missed that you've said there's mention of Porter creating a second gun. This terminal, is there anywhere I could find a link to it? (youtube etc)

What is your favorite 2 perk-A-colas.

My two favourite for usefulness Jug and Quick Revive. For fun, probably PHD flopper and quick revive. I love reviving people in a hopeless situation. Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk -
You know mate, my friend and I were talking about this last night. We haven't played seige, Stonehaven or chasm for probably a month or two now. I think you have the same view on the disc maps (that they're a lot better than dlc). For us, we couldn't get enough of reinforced. Now nearly every fucking game is the dome remake. It's actually ridiculous. I've gone from totally adoring Ghosts to loathing it. I have to give it to the developers in one respect, they have listened to a lot, but Ghosts was perfect with the reinforced patch, now as far as I'm concerned, it's gone to absolute hell. Sorry for cussing and ranting, it's just Ghosts has me so angry at the moment. Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk

Yep. And no one is denying that, it's what the box does. It's just the mark 2's creator that we're all debating about. On the note of space and time, maybe it will get explained in the next game. Perhaps it was made by someone totally different. Also nightmare, I'm not arguing with you for the sake of it. I just genuinely think the Porters Mark 2 raygun is named so from sheer laziness, and nothing else. Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk
