@Stop mocking me0 maybe you should change the name of the thread to "Where did the RGM2 come from?!?" Just to throw another quick thought into the discussion, if you want to get really fussy on what map had the RGM2 first, the answer was every map except Buried! if everyone remembers, when the patch was released, the RGM2 made a quick appearance before being hotfixed out. I remember the day the Origins teaser trailer was released. (you know the one where it went through all the maps chronologically) My expectations were so high. I genuinely thought that we were going to get a full zombie map pack, or at least multiple zombie maps along with some multiplayer maps. The day they released the Apocalypse trailer was a bad day for me. I spent the rest of the month moping around, disappointed as hell.

Just to throw another thought into it altogether, maybe it's early because we're getting advanced warfare slightly earlier? Doesn't it come out on the 4th Nov? Black Ops 2 came out on the 13 (I think), so that's 9 days earlier? Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk

yeah, that's a good idea, then you get to see how many zombies you've killed WITHOUT having to press select As in how many zombies are left on a round man? Why the hell would you want a perk to save having to click select?!?

You know, for a long time I've wondered what actually could be different with zombies (apart from the basics). Having this as part of the engine would totally change strategies. Imagine (we have used that word so much in this thread!!!!) Town or Nuketown. Very small maps, with people training close to one another. I shoot my mustang sallys at my train, but it's round 30, so they don't die immediately. Instead they are all flung towards my teammate who is now having to fight off 2 trains! Or, a totally different idea, imagine the feature on Die Rise. Training in the Buddha room, it's easy, but someone else has the Sliquifyer. Round 45+ and it's taking several shots to the head to kill even one zombie. Time for a new idea- form a train and BLAST THEM OFF OF THE MAP! Now zombies can feel vertically challenged!

just to hop on your idea there sport, what if it also gave you a zombie counter too! Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk

Gonna revive this thread for a game I had on Sunday. Got to round 67 on Buried. While I was chuffed, all I wanted to so was get to round 70! But that is a personal best by 9 rounds! Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk

I like your perk ideas man, I'd just change them slightly. Gren-aid: nice idea, but rather than just extend the cooking time what about if it allows you to hold 8 grenades instead of 4, and they are a one hit kill till say round 15? The spring tea I don't think is OP at all. It's just the same idea as electric cherry if it stuns them. Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk

I think if they'd have made it more complicated to get them it would have stopped a lot of trolling. Say like a step in the easter Egg gave them to a random player, at least then you would've had to cooperate to that point.

Zombies Etiquette 101

Rule #2: there are four windows in each starting room. Stick to your own window. Just because you don't have any zombies doesn't mean you can go kill everyone else's! -
As I've said before, many of the ideas in Ratchet and Clank would make for INSANELY EPIC ideas in zombies.

Dude. I don't mean to argue with you, and I am sure you know a lot more about the story than I. But, that's a hell of a lot of speculation. He must have been present in Borough? Other than the name of the pack a punched version of the Rgm2, there is absolutely no link to Porter being in Borough, I really can't see how you would link the two properly. Realistically, I think the existence of the RGM2 came about something like this: Treyarch employee #1: What wonder weapon shall we whack into dlc 3 guys? Treyarch employee #2: what about a new version of the Ray Gun? David Vondehaar : Go on. Treyarch employee #2: Well, I like headshots, and I like Ray Guns, so why don't we make a Ray Gun assault rifle? It can be great at taking out trains, and have no splash damage so it's like the ultimate escape weapon? David Vondehaar: I like it. I like it a lot. I've got an idea, let's include it as a map pack 3 bonus weapon, so everyone that owns the map pack gets it! Jim, what we gonna call it? Jimmy Trollinski: what about the Ray Gun Mark 2? Then when it's PaP'd it's Porter's Mark 2 Ray Gun? David Vondehaar: YES. Treyarch employee #1: Guys, we still need a map specific wonder weapon? David & Jimmy: Remake the Jet Gun. Apologies to Mocking, didn't mean to steer away from the original point, just thought I'd add my opinion on why I felt it might not return.

I'm not sure to be honest. As it's a mark 2, it would make sense that its going to be a reocurring gun. But, there was absolutely no information on how it came to be. 935 didn't build it, nor did richtofen... So who did?! I'd sooner see it left behind and have a new version of it altogether. Explain to me the reason to ignore it? It isn't cannon? But the post wasn't so much about the old Story, as much as the new.

So I've been musing for a few days about the Swiss Cheese of a storyline of Black Ops 2 Zombies. We had absolutely no idea what was coming next after Moon, other than it was going to be set on a scorched Earth. What did we end up with? The final scene of Origins. EVERYTHING we know, loved and cared for could possibly just be a children's game. So it got me thinking. We love the Storyline. We love Easter Eggs. We love Easter Egg hunting. We love activating secret parts of a map (such as the Teddy bears/meteorites etc). We love killing zombies. We love the Wonder Weapons. We love the weapons. I'm going to stop with the love list, but you guys hopefully get the idea. I was thinking what would be a really good idea or technique to keep the story new and fresh, without the crazy illogical gaps that we have in Black Ops 2. What about a reverse chronological storyline? We start the first map (much like Nacht) with the feeling of hopelessness, a group of four survivors, at the end of it all. Zombies are coming. There's no escape. The end is nigh! Picture this scene like a WaW map pack style trailer. As the story progresses, we are going backwards, we're finding more and more about out the characters, what drives them and what is what. Imagine the weapons getting less and less efficient. For example imagine playing the earlier maps with the complete weapons, but as more DLC comes out, were playing with the prototypes next map. What do you guys think?

Dude, I gotta ask, how the heck can you get 3 staffs built by round 3!? It's 2250 points just to open pack a punch! If there's a magic way of obtaining points, please tell me!
-
Yep, bang on. (although I'm not particularly anti or pro the bank) I just want games to be quicker. I don't want to have to speed run it just to make it to round 30 in less than an hour. My biggest gripe with the buildables and bank is that it just makes everything take so long.

wish this was real, but its probably not

Maybe the cover is so delightfully peaceful, because the game is actually so horrifically intense? But I personally can't see how they would've brought out a cover at this point, when they haven't even announced the game? I call fake. -
The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly (information on Ghosts).
lead_psychopath replied to 83457's topic in Ghosts
Is there?! I've never noticed it before if it has. I love ghosts too, I'm currently on 7th prestige which is the furthest I've ever gotten on a Cod. Wow, that's even less than PlayStation man, it's usually 60-90k. During the day it'll drop down to about 30k though. Sent from my D2303 using Tapatalk -

Holy Christ, that just confirmed Ghosts is doing as badly as everyone suggested!
