  8. You have once again proven your worthiness of Concept Making. An Absolutely Brilliant Post. Love the Characters
  9. I agree with Stop Mocking Me......Outbreak can be fun to play......however Exo Zombies is a rush job with very little effort put into it. Zombies was never intended to be in Advanced Warfare but due to Demand Sledgehammer caved in. When Exo Zombies was first conceived it was already too late to put into the Game in time for Launch so they had to hold off until DLC 1 in order to introduce it. ( May I remind the people of the zombies community Tally marks had Zero significance and the fact that exo zombies did occur is merely a coincidence.) Infection is a Map that adds little to no imagination or innovation to a Game Mode that was already mediocre from the start. From Nacht to Verrukt which were at the very beggining added, Traps, and Perks and Power, Shi No Numa added a wonder weapon, and Der Riese added pack a punch and easter egg quests. Outbreak introduces the game mode, ( Late may I add ) and by DLC 2 did not add a single new perk to it's lineup, did not add any new machines into the mix, and did not up the Ante with the location in favor of pleasing a small minority of gamers who liked brger town in mw2. Making a Map out of a multiplayer map is fine...but you need to add more story driven eggs, and changes in order to make it Unique and worth being in a Zombies mode. Expect a Full review of Exo Zombies once DLC 4 is out
  10. To be Honest, I've never actually read the original post. I've only read the comments.....but I still understand by reading the title alone. I agree though. You should be redirected as a new member. Just a formality
  11. I was actually thinking bout symbiotes yesterday....and I was thinking..... meteor crashes to earth containing alien symbiotes which begin to populate the earth and take the form of anything they can gain control of. Using other life forms as a Host they change and adapt to earth's environment and thus, begin taking over the planet.
  12. So......yeah......Apparently there are some rumors going around ( Not a Leak ) that since Zombies is so Popular they have decided to include it in every cod from now on. .... I'm planning an editorial on my own personal thoughts on this but.....what would your reactions be if it was confirmed. Just wanted to get the jump on this.... Let this video describe what could be going on at Activision right now...
  13. Fuck May. May is 10 days away from being over. I'll just dump everything in Starting June 1st

    1. Stop Mocking Me0

  14. Look at it ......just look at the hair. I think he has the Best Hair in the entire COD franchise. What do you guys think? I'm not even joking...just look at it.. If you think there is something Sexier than that hair....then post a pic in the comment section because I highly doubt it.... I would kill to have that hair on MY head.
  15. Hello. Welcome to Zed-itorial. A new forum Series I am introducing where I talk about Different aspects of Zombies through my own personal opinions. Today I want to ask a question. Did Black Ops 2 Zombies Fail? Many people say the Golden age of Zombies was the Black Ops era. With maps such as Kino der toten, Ascension Call of the dead, Shangri-la and even the Moon. We got much more character development and a much deeper story that not only surprised us but kept us coming back for more. Then after 2 years of waiting we got Tranzit.....and it all went downhill from there. With Shitty map after shitty map we went to Die Rise, Buried and even the Promising Origins turned out to be the equivalent of waiting for shit to turn into Gold. So what went wrong with Black ops 2 that made it so Bad? For starters I think the Hype is one of the contributing factors as to why we hated Black Ops 2 Zombies. After a Map like Moon and the Plot twist at the end where the Earth is completely destroyed. Takeo vows to destroy every last remnant f Group 935 and Samantha vows to return to her own Body. Now the question we were all asking ourselves at the time was. "So, earth is destroyed, where or when are we going next?" Black Ops 2 answered that question with Tranzit or like the fans like to call it....Transhit. To be quite Honest, Tranzit is actually not as bad as we make it out to be. Sure, it's bad but the shit factor comes mostly from the failed Expectations, the lack of story, and the fact that there was not much content in the map. Had Tranzit been the first Map in Call of Duty Black Ops I believe it would have been a Hit. Why? Well, because it wouldn't have had to be a follow up to an already growing story. W@W didn't actually have much of a story even with Der Riese. The story was Basic. Experiments with Zombies occur and the zombies escape. You have a group of characters who all look like copy and paste versions of campaign characters and it was Fun! There was no time travel, there was no MPD, there was no Evil Entity. It was a plain and simple story encased within medium sized maps. If you ignore everything from Black Ops then tranzit actually brings some new things to the Table. It brings in creepy new creatures with a scary looking design, it brings map hazards which must be avoided, a Mode of transportation, a Grief Mode. All of this is fine for a Map even if there was a lot of Fog. However everything changes when you add Black Ops 1 to the Mix. The Ending of Black Ops zombies promised us a continuation of the story as well as possibly developing Samantha Maxis as not only a demonic announcer but as a playable character. Maybe even learn why Maxis is so over protective about Samantha, Explain how her mother died and how she ended up the way she was. Maybe she misses fluffy and has some interesting things to say. However instead they decide to focus on other things in Black Ops 2. Which would be fine if they knew where to take us next and how each place would further the story but that is the problem. They never went anywhere interesting. After the Moon you expect something out of zombies mode. Yet Black Ops 2 Fell short. Overall Tranzit was just a random town which actually had a pretty interesting underground area. Yet those areas are so small they don't even have easter eggs in them. I would trade every single Area of the Map just to Make Half the Map be the town, and the other half be the hidden underground research station. They had so much potential to slip us a secret notebook or have pictures pinned to the wall down there but they screwed it up. The other thing that really bugged be was the easter eggs. When tranzit came out I think everyone had the same reaction to the egg. People were wondering if that was it. After having such lengthy eggs in Black Ops we came to expect something big from Tranzit. However it fell short and didn;t even reward you very well for completing them. Also the fact that every egg in Black Ops 2 had the exact same goal. To light up a tower. In my opinion coming from a person that writes concepts and stories I have noticed that writing a 5 map series or more usually deteriorates it's quality. When you try to stretch out a story things become botched or come out strangely. The ending to buried had potential but the Buildup was Terrible. It feels like they only had this one Idea and then they decided to Stretch it out for 3 whole maps instead of providing a unique story for each Map. Which when you look at it, is entirely true when it comes to Black Ops Zombies. In Black Ops , each map was connected yet provided a unique experience and a unique story to it. In ascension there was a strange Russian trapped inside the Aether which you had to free. In Call of the Dead, the story was about 4 Movie stars that get caught up in a zombie outbreak while making a zombie movie, Shangri-la was about a pair of Explorers which are now trapped in a timeloop while searching for Agartha, and Moon was....Well. just look at moon. Moon took everything from the previous maps and made a story about a Girl in a Magic Pyramid and the Evil Richtofen who would soon take over the undead. Each Map, like I said before, was it's own unique thing. In black ops 2 on the other hand. Had 4 survivors in a destroyed town with little background and no story. Then in die Rise it was a different location but the exact same story. Even the T.V radios were pretty much the same. Buried was still the same story with a different location and nothing else going on. Which brings be to the Highlight of Black Ops 2. Mob of the Dead Mob of the Dead is a fantastic Map, with a Fantastic Atmosphere and a fantastic story. We had Characters that actually had backstories that you wanted to know more about. It had a villain that you didn't expect. An easter egg that flowed with the Gameplay perfectly and Objectives that made things so much more fun. Motd may not have furthered the Zombies story at all but because it is detached from the main story, it could take more risks and try different things. Which is what was missing from Every other map in Black Ops 2. Motd is Colorful yet very dark in it''s design.....Origins on the Other hand is a tragic accident. When Everything was going to shit DLC 4 was it's last chance at redemption. We expected an all zombies dlc but instead we got Origins...which really doesn't matter as long as the map was interesting. Was it interesting? Hell yeah, You had robots running around, you had the original characters returning, You had planes flying around, a giant blimp, templar zombies GOD IT WAS REFRESHING.....and then the game starts...... God.... You know how Motd could be dark yet at the same time have so much color in it? Well Origins is the opposite. Origins is so full of mud that the map just looks so dull and lifeless to look at. Every other map in Black Ops 2 except for maybe tranzit, knew how to blend their colors together so that even if the theme is Gritty, or underground you could still look at the map and admire it's look. However Origins looks like you are staring at mud all the time. The characters in Origins were great really. They may not have been like the ones we were used to from Black Ops but you could still tell it was them. Just less damaged. And then, which you all know was coming from the moment you clicked on this forum post....The Ending to Origins...... The Ending to Origins is the biggest FUCK YOU to the Player EVER in a Cod game....Well, besides the ending to call of duty Ghosts but we will get to that topic another time. You spend this whole time building up things and then when you finally have Zombies somewhat back in place, you screw it all up with the Ending. I've seen better twists in an M Night Shyamilan movie. Whether or not this ending will be considered canon or if it's something different in disguise I believe it is up to treyarch to decide. If they want to start over, That's fine. Start over. But please learn from your mistakes in Black Ops 2 and try to make each map good instead of trying to make the payoff good. As long as the maps are good even if the payoff isn't really as great as we expected we can at least know that the other maps have things that make us want to go back to them. Even then, Buried got boring after 3 games and the payoff was irrelevant. Which means I have to talk about the characters The characters in Black ops 2 zombies are Generic but not at all terrible. Can they be annoying? Well, yes. But they were pretty decent characters when you actually take the time to look at them. The only problem with them is that while The Original characters were Copied from Campaign mode they developed their own personalities with each map. Each map you learned something new about them and their pasts. For example Richtofen had a sister, and Dempsey had a daughter who you don't know if she's alive or dead or worse. However in Black Ops 2 the Tranzit 4 are Completely original characters with their own designs yet they don;t develop at all. In tranzit you get the basic stories about all 4 of them. Which is fine for a first map. However after Tranzit the characters just don't seem to go anywhere. In die rise you get some form of development for stuhlinger which could prove an interesting dilemma for the new crew yet after die rise it is never touched on again. Buried was especially painful when they try to cram a whole bunch of Backstory into a small cutscene. Development shouldn't be crammed into a 3 minute intro, it should be spoken through Quotes which they say randomly. It not only gives them personality but it also gives the Player an idea of who the character really is by listening to what they have to say. The tranzit 4 would have made Decent characters for any other zombie game but for something as complicated and story driven as zombies they aren't a good match So in conclusion...was Black Ops 2 Zombies a Fail?.....Yes....it was a fail... It was a fail when compared to the previous accomplishments in Black Ops. But as a stand alone game mode it was Ok at best. The story is butchered, the characters are a mess, the locations aren't interesting at all, some not even good to look at. However at the end of the day you are still going to play it because you just love killing zombies and demolishing an entire train with the feeling of your controller vibrating as you shoot. So...I'm done here. Maybe I'll talk about other things some other times
  16. Lots of small easter eggs. I have never been first to find something in zombies ever. Like, actually FIND and then reveal. I hope there are alot of things to keep us searching even after the next DLC arrives
  17. Working on some crazy shit for the month of May.

    1. Stop Mocking Me0

      Stop Mocking Me0

When exactly do you manufacture normal things?

  18. I love Extinction. Maybe not the most popular opinion but I personally love it. So here is a little Speculation/ Concept Hybrid for Extinction Season 2 Story It has been 5 years since the ancestors woke up. 5 years since the cryptids overtook the planet earth. An Ark was sent into space in order to continue the human existence with the plans to burn the planet and destroy the threat. That plan failed. Samantha Cross hijacked the Ark and stopped scorched Earth from Occurring. Now planet Earth has been left at the mercy of the Ancestors and their cryptid Army In this new world Humanity Lives in zones that have become Anti Cryptid. Using the same technology seen at the end of Exodus, safe zones have a barrier that kills cryptids if they try to pass through it. Thus allowing Survivors to find safety within it’s barriers. In 5 Years the Extinction Squads were established and their hard training would allow them to venture into heavily infested territories in order to reclaim them Using the Cortex Shields. A Year prior to the current events the Ancestors suddenly began to die from unknown causes but the world was far from safe. Without their masters the Cryptids ran rampant. It is soon discovered that the Exodus Ark which was meant to keep humanity alive has been destroyed as it crash landed on Earth thanks to Samantha Cross. As an Extinction Squad ventures through the ruins of civilization all over the world they discover New Giant Cryptids. These Cryptids are engineered by the Ancestors in order to destroy what is left of Humanity. Tempest, Goliath, Manta, and Carnage are names given to these giant cryptids by the remaining Humans. As cities are reclaimed and the Giant Cryptids Fall to the ever growing force of the Extinction Squads it is learned that due to the millions of years that have passed by, the Ancestors were not able to survive in their current bodies. Which means they are now Performing Operations so that they can gain control of new Human Bodies which are more suited for Earth’s New Atmosphere, Oxygen Levels, Diseases etc. They tried this once before with Samantha Cross and it is discovered that only a few Humans are capable of successful control and the rest of Humanity is Expendable. Meanwhile back in the safe zones, more information is being discovered about the Ancestors and a shocking revelation occurs. While the Cryptids are indeed from Earth…The Ancestors are not of this world. The Ancestor Population on Earth is actually a colony that came to earth millions of years ago. Now a new threat is detected as hundreds of Ancestor Ships are on their way to Earth to Retrieve the Colony they left behind. As Earth prepares for a final confrontation one thing is for certain. One species will go Extinct. 5 new Maps Aftermath, Ruin, Conversion, Invasion, Doomsday Objective: There is no point in destroying Hives anymore. The whole world is overrun with Cryptids. However there is a Way to stop them. The ancestors have retreated for unknown reasons so as long as they are away it’s time to take back DC. Cortex Shields: Cortex Shields are small cylinder like devices that must be placed around the map. The main Story Item replacing the drill. New Gameplay!: Gameplay has changed a bit since the first Extinction Season. You no longer have to carry around a drill and protect it, However you do have to go around the map and place the shields in a secure area and make sure cryptids don’t destroy it. Unlike the drill, if the Cryptids destroy a Cortex Shield the game will still continue. However, there is a catch. As time goes by Cryptids will get Stronger and more dangerous. New Timer!: A new Timer as been put into Extinction in order to give Survivalists a reason to play. Unlike the old Extinction where the only objective is to clear all the hives and escape the map. Players can now play the map and see how long they last before they are overwhelmed by the cryptid menace. Your best times appear on the leaderboards and accessing other areas will not require you to do anything but open these areas using money. Teeth: Back in Extinction Season 1, Teeth used to be extremely hard to get and the effort was pointless. However now, Each Cortex Shield you successfully place is worth 1 Tooth, and beating a Boss will earn you 5 teeth. New Upgrade System: Upgrades can now be obtained by killing Cryptids instead of for destroying Hives. Character Level Up: A Blue Bar Weapon Level Up: An orange Bar The Point System: Every time you kill a cryptid you fill up an XP Bar on the side of the screen where the drill Health used to be. Fill up the XP Bar and you receive an Upgrade Point. You can use these points to upgrade your Class Skills and your equipment. Each Cryptid is worth different amounts of XP so Killing Regular Cryptids is great when you first start a match but as time goes by, bringing down rhinos, scorpions, and phantoms will earn you much more Xp. Each time you Level Up it will take more XP to achieve the next Level Weapon Upgrades: A separate Xp bar right next to the Blue, character XP Bar. Keep using a weapon to level up that weapon. You will earn a weapon point. This point can be used to upgrade your weapon’s stats such as magazine size, accuracy, damage, reload times, time it takes to aim down the sights, etc. These upgrades can be stacked on top of any attachments you might find in boxes.
  19. Augmentation Sensation [ Concept / Theory ] OK so here is another theory/ Concept Hybrid I have With the way Black ops 3 seems to be going I have a theory that we might be getting some game modes having to do with Augmentation. I have 3 different sets of Game modes right here which I think are plausible for Black ops 3 Human Evolution: Human Evolution is a free for all style game mode in which players start off as Basic Humans and each time they get a kill, they get augmented. So in a way It’s similar to gun game. The first time you get Augmented a countdown timer begins. 30 seconds. If you do not get a kill in 30 seconds then your body will reject your new augmentations and you will die a very painful death. So it is a combination of Cranked, Gun game, and free for all. You win by getting the most kills Ultimate Weapon Ultimate weapon is similar to Human Evolution however instead of Upgrading yourself you get gun augmentations. Each time you kill someone with a weapon, the weapon gains an attachment or an increase in stat similar to the Exo Zombie Upgrade station. At first you won’t notice much of a difference but as you keep stacking kills you will wield the Ultimate weapon. Game Lasts 10 Minutes and the winners are decided not by how many kills a player got but by how high they were able to Augment their guns before dying. So technically it’s whomever got the largest Killstreak. Self Advancement Self advancement starts off similar to Human Revolution However instead of getting automatically augmented when you get a kill, there are Augmentation Pick ups all over the map. Walk through a pick Up to obtain the augmentation. If you get Killed then all the augmentations will go away and you will need to pick them up again one by one. Pick Ups will vanish from the map once they are obtained but will spawn back into the map in 15 seconds. Time can be adjusted during custom games. You win by getting the most kills.
  20. I love how you actually give the characters dialogue that is "in character". I feel like it's something they actually would say
  21. I honestly don't like a loadout system. It detracts from the zombies experience. The same way the weapons locker made the game to easy when you could start the game with a good weapon. I think everything perkwise, or weaponwise should be obtainable during the session and not before the session. As for cosmetics, Custom games only, no Story map. Story Maps are for Canon Character designs and outfits.
  22. I do not believe this is discussing Leaks but rather Discussing the idea of the Ray gun mark 3. It is not considered discussing leaks until someone tries to theorize what a leak means or how it fits into the story. Also Mocking me is blending the information in the Leak with a Concept so it is also not considered a Post about leaks. So this thread is still following the Rules and no rules have been broken.
  23. Those reddit people are complete assholes. I've noticed some of those "Leaks" they mentioned were conceived long ago on the Ptg Forums by some of our now "Deceased" Members. Other parts are strikingly similar to some of our own work here on Codz in fact some of the wording is so similar it can not be a coincidence. I urge the people of Codz and the people of the zombies community to not even bother doing a breakdown of any so called Reddit posts. It will only encourage them to keep stealing things.
  24. I have my own fan story for nuketown. Nuketown is a training session in a fake nuketown however the government has secret plans and wants to test their 115 on live subjects. So during the training session they drop a nuke onto the map which reanimates the soldiers. They then send in the FBI and the CDC to investigate the effects of the Bomb when Karma strikes as Maxis's Missiles hit their location
  25. you know what would have been a cool marketing strategy? To have a secret song sung at the very end of the event to promote Black Ops 3. A song no one has ever heard of which may or may not be in the next game.
