  1. Hard work is needed if you want to achieve a GREAT custom Map. Not just a bad Farm map! Or School Map! More along the lines of arrival which has taken a long time to achieve but in the end it's something that will really impact the community.
  2. I'll add it when I get home. Currently on mobile and mobile docs is a bitch. Let's just say for now that the New Never before seen characters are like Samantha but they don't remember. It's a tragic story....
  3. I just got some wicked Ideads for the backgrounds of the new characters and some of the stuff we have added to the map already would fit in perfectly !
  4. Ahahahahahaha..... Pandora's Box will soon be opened. I found a key and I will unleash it all...

  5. O4 VS new characters . O4: Limited creative liberties Every custom map has the O4 in them so it would be a wasted opportunity. For something groundbreaking We would have to check canon to see if this is something that would actually happen. Restrictions when it comes to quotes and dialogue Restrictions to the story and setting New characters Full creative liberties New voice actors It would be groundbreaking and just having New characters would make out map far superior than every other Custom map out there right now We would not be restricted by previous canon or previous character attributes that need to be accurate
  6. Putting Alpha-omega on Hold. Working on an exciting new collaboration concept with the other architects.

  7. I suggest we open a Google Doc. That way we can easily have the concept easily editable. We can present Ideas Here that way everyone can see our progress and our debates then when we decide what to do we begin with working on the presentation and figuring out who will write what using the This topic: a look into the conceptual Process of the Map Google Doc: The Post being written
  8. How about Agartha takes a different form whenever someone looks at it. When our Characters look into Agartha they see _____ It's not really _____ but Agartha chose this form because of ______
  9. FROM THE CREATORS THAT BROUGHT YOU: LEGACY OF THE DAMNED ALPHA-OMEGA UNITY DUNES FORGE DYSTOPIA THE INTERACTIVE MAP SERIES DEAD OPS ARCADE 2: NECROMANCERS REVENGE COMES THE GREATEST TALE OF HORROR THE WORLD HAS EVER KNOWN. THE DEAD WILL WALK THE EARTH.....AGAIN..... COMING EVENTUALLY TO A FORUM NEAR YOU...
  10. I suggest we come up with an Original idea not related to group 935 or the original characters or anything with the current story. A one shot like Mob of the Dead. It would be alot easier to come up with something new instead of trying to create a sidestory that may be incompatible to the storyline of zombies. Create some new characters each with their own Backstory and character development. You could get voice actors and you would get alot more freedom to do what you want with them.
  11. I'd think a ruined New York would be great. It's something that can't be easily done which if accomplished would make it far superior to other customs maps on world at war. I would vote on anything that would push the boundaries of custom zombies.
  12. I find a massive collaboration of all concept makers making one map together to be awesome. I can imagine this one map Gavin small Easter eggs that are a reference to maps we've come up with in the past. If someone wants to make a Collaboration concept feat. All map concept makers I'm definitely in.
  13. Got some new salvages. Including an old extinction concept which may have been what brought the Breeder Cryptid into existance.

One does not create a spider enemy that has a gas attack and can lay eggs by chance.

  14. Working on some more good stuff. In the meantime I have more salvaged content I found. If the salvaged posts start roaming around at night killing people then please burn down this post

  15. I don't know why but the sound a gun makes effects my accuracy.
  16. Haven't found what I'm looking for I might need to rewrite it. I mean it's all in my head still. I did find something else however

  17. Note: After adventuring the Lost temple of Playthegame I have managed to recover an ancient artifact. I tis a map concept I made sometime before the forums were attacked by the AR3 and the Hurtlocker and Emperor Benn. So without further ado please enjoy this concept which I have managed to salvage. It is called Timeskip and it is one of the things that eventually led to me making the hit game mode concept for AW Cyborg Mode. You are a scientist. You are part of a team who is ready to take the next step in scientific history. The first time travel devices have been produced. So you and your companions in this test are strapped down into these 4 chairs. The next thing you see is the time stream and within the time stream you see figures in the distance. Perhaps people from your past or from another universe all together…. You arrive 2 hours in the past but when you come to you realize that there is not color in the world. Everything has become grey and there are chalk outlines on the wall. The time travel test has been successful but…..the past is deserted. You investigate the room and open a door to exit the chamber. When you open the door there are zombies eating the facility. The zombies have red eyes but the rest of their bodies are in black and white.Unlike the zombies in previous maps these zombies are clean. No blood and no bite marks. Not even a rip in their clothes. They look perfectly healthy except for the fact that they are zombies and their eyes are glowing red. Their red eyes are the only things in the map that are in color…..for now. As you run away you arrive at the main lobby and you lock the door…….. In the spawn room you will find the usual M14 and the Olympia on the walls. The room resembles the bus depot in transit However there are no Broken windows. Behind you is a revolving door and behind the revolving door is the pack a punch. You cannot get to the pack a punch at the moment but you will later. In the starting room there is one buyable door and above that there is a clock. In fact there are clocks all around the map and they are stuck on a certain hour. Once you buy the first door the map gains a little bit of color but then goes back to being black and white. You will also notice that a few minutes have past in the clock. Whenever you buy a Door time will start again then stop. The next room is a giant convention room where they hold meetings and discuss any new inventions they have made. This room is also destroyed and partially eaten. In this room you will find a window which you can look through. However there is nothing outside. It appears that the outside world is non-existant and has been replaced with absolute Darkness. Soon this facility will also become part of that darkness and cease to exist. For the zombies are the keepers of time and whenever today becomes yesterday they dispose of yesterday the most efficient way they can. They eat it and then devour themselves till there is nothing. The zombies do not bleed or stay on the ground upon death. Instead they evaporate into black smoke. If you shoot a zombie in the arm the arm then only the arm will evaporate into smoke. The convention Room has the remington available for you to use. There is also a new door which you need to buy. On the ground right in front of the podium there is a huge rip on the ground. Instead of a Box you have a rip in time. The rip can only bring forth weapons if light is shining out of it. Instead of teddy bears the crack will flicker on and of and shock the player that just bought it. It will then switch locations. Behind the main stage there is a door which needs to be opened. Once purchased time will move forward for a brief moment. Now imagine this next area are to look similar to the labs in five. But imagine it less bloody and there are no living specimens here. In this room you will find the M16 and claymores for sale. There is also another crack on the ground facing the M16. This lab has a fire trap which can be activated by pressing the action button while standing next to a bunch of flammable liquids. The activation of the trap costs 1500 points. There is a wall which can be bought instead of a door. This wall will crumble and the crumbs will fall into the nothingness. This forms a gap which you must jump over. It's an easy jump even without running but if you run without noticing the gap you will fall into the nothing and cease to exist. Once you have made the jump you will have entered into the testing chamber. On the wall you will find the bowie knife and right in the center of the room you will find 4 chairs facing different directions. Each chair faces north south east and west but none of the chairs are facing each other. The chairs are hooked up to a device on the wall which is the power switch for the map. There are computers all over the walls which keep displaying a group of numbers in a loop. There is a big clock on the ground near the entrance to the room. Now it is time to turn on the power. BOOM! You begin to notice color coming back to the map. You see shadowy figures walking past you but not effected by zombies or gunfire. They walk around the room and tinker with the equipment then suddenly they vanish and the map loses all its color again. The clock on the ground has moved forward. You now know what you must do. In order to find your way home you must catch up with the present in order to escape the past and avoid being devoured by the zombies. However now you will begin to notice that the map has changed quite a bit from before the power was on. All the wall weapons have been changed except for the starting room weapons and equipment. The M16 has turned into the an-94 and the remington shotgun has become the Pdw. Even weapons in the rooms you have not yet entered have changed. The most important change though is that the perks have materialized around the map. You will find speed cola in the convention room, doubletap in the starting room, quick revive in the testing chamber and a few more perks in other rooms beyond the test chamber. The boss zombies will now spawn every now and then alongside the zombies You will need to unlock all remaining doors to begin the easter egg. There are 3 more areas in this facility. You will notice in the test chamber that there are 2 doors. The first door will lead you to a huge outdoor testing area. When you look at the sky it is black and you can see that the surrounding buildings are starting to crumble as zombies eat what’s left of the past. In fact this area used to be a domed location but zombies have already devoured the dome. This are somewhat resembles the greenhouse on moon however there is less greenery and more electronic machines. There is also a water fountain which is leaking water next to a bunch of canisters that contain dead monkeys from previous time travel tests. On the ground underneath some rubble and debris there is a broken cyborg which resembles the terminator. It’s eyes flicker between red , blue, yellow, and orange in a constant loop. Zombies will phase in from the ground in this area and sometimes they will fall from the sky. In the background you will see a bunch of zombies which are not part of any round or special event. They are just there eating time as you play the game. Most of them are there for atmospheric effect. There are a few things to buy in this area. You can activate a trap if you first blow up the water fountain. It is an electric trap which costs 1000 points. This area will also feature the wunderfizz which will always stay in the same location however after it is used a few times will need to recharge for 2 rounds. The wunderfizz is crucial since it is the only place where you can buy juggernog. Juggernog will not spawn on the map at all and needs to be bought using the wunderfizz. A good strategy to get jug is to buy 3 perks before using the wunderfizz. This narrows down the amount of perks in rotation and gives you a better chance of landing on juggernog. However this is a double edged sword because you will now be running around with 3 perks and no jug meaning that if you get hit only twice you will go down and lose all the perks and the points used to buy the perks. There is a scorpion on the wall for you to buy for 2000 points. If you chose to open the second door inside the testing chamber you will enter a maze made up of animal cages. This is a place where you kept monkeys and rats and pretty much any animal that can be used for testing. This maze is like the one on buried and will be different every time you enter it. Sometimes you will find a hole on the ground and zombies climbing into the map through them. However in a few minutes the hole is gone and it’s somewhere else now. There is an SVU on the wall and the galva knuckles. They switch location every game. If once you manage to maneuver the animal cages you will arrive at the entrance to the final room. Buy the door and you will enter the final area of the map. Imagine a room where only chunks of it remain intact. There are numerous holes on the ground, on the walls and on the ceiling. There is a short staircase leading up to a plateau like section which has a huge generator that is sparking madly. Objects are floating in the air and once you jump you will realize that this room has moon gravity. You can find a crack on the ground next to the generator and a brand new perk called Timey Wimey Wine. Timey Wimey Wine is a new perk which is floating in the room and constantly bouncing off the walls. You will need to jump towards it and press the action button at the right time in order to buy the drink. The animation when buying this drink is different. Instead of just drinking the perk the fanciest bottle of wine bursts in your face and your vision becomes soaked for a few moments. Once your vision comes back you will notice that some objects on the map now have color. These objects can now be manipulated and moved around. As an added bonus if you go down you can get yourself back up however you will return back to the same location you were 5 minutes before you went down. When you drink the perk your eyes will start glowing and golden energy will start flowing from your body. In this state you cannot fall down into the nothing if you walk over a hole in the ground. You can manipulate colored objects by using the D-pad to bring up your hands like in afterlife mode. You can speed up time and make certain objects deteriorate or you can make time go backwards to repair damaged parts of the map. The final door will lead you back to the starting room where you can now pack a punch. If your team mate has timey wimey wine they can use it on the revolving door to move forward time and make it move. Up to 2 players can go pack a punch for 30 seconds before the door brings you back into the map. Upgraded weapons have a glow to them instead of a regular pack a punch camo and the bullets they shoot are now emitting a gold whisp. However all is not fine and dandy since a new enemy is ready to make life a living hell. The time keepers are a group of pure black shadowy creatures with red eyes that run around the map in a group. They will find a location and begin to devour it. They can form holes on the ground, eat perk machines and deactivate traps. Sometimes they will even devour other zombies if they get in the way. These zombies will not follow players so they are impossible to train. They will focus only on devouring as much of the map as they can before they are killed. Killing them will reward you with a max ammo. If you manage to kill all of them before they start manage to devour anything you will be rewarded with a max ammo and a Baric-aid. The barric-aid is like a riot shield made up of pure time energy which evaporates zombies when you use them. This is similar to the death machine since it’s a weapon that comes in a drop. After 30 seconds the baric-aids will vanish. A New wunder weapon is available from the rip which is called the time turner. This weapon is like a shotgun that shoots out a whisp of time energy. If it hits a zombie the zombie will start gaining color and shrivel up from old age and deterioration. Now it is time for the easter egg. Step 1- turn on the power Step 2 – open all doors Step 3 –Buy timey wimey wine Step 4 – Use the powers of the perk to clear the debris on top of the cyborg Step 5 – Find a hidden gem located in the labs and insert it into the cyborg Step 6 –One player gives all their points to the cyborg and it will activate Step 7 – The cyborg needs directions and until you insert them he will wander around the map Step 8 – Find 3 blue eyed zombies outside of the map with your sniper rifle and kill them. Step 9 – Killing all 3 zombies will activate the easter egg song and one of the zombies will drop a microchip into the map. Step 10 – find the randomly spawning microchip and insert it into the cyborg Step 11- the cyborg will begin order 115 which is to enter the test chamber and begin to alter the machines which will now display the illuminati symbol. Step 12 – Make sure you have an upgraded time turner and wait for the Time keepers to show up Step 13 – This step may take some time since you need to kill 20 timekeepers inside the test chamber . You will need to allow them to feed and then wait for them to enter the room. Step 14 – Killing them will now begin to speed up time around you and color will once again return and the map will violently shake. Step 15 – The map will begin to go from colored to black and white over and over again and you will now see figures walking around. Step 16 – Go around the map and find your personal shadows and start tracing theirs steps. Step 17 – Eventually all 4 ghosts will reunite and go into the test chamber. The 4 ghosts will begin to sit down in their respective chairs but the map will go grey before they can do it. Step 18 – You need more time energy. One player must go to the generator room and power up the generator using time energy. This player must have the Timey Wimey Wine in order to do this and this person must do it alone. Step 19 – Zombies will begin to spawn again but this time walking slowly but at their same strength. The player powering the generator must not go down while moving time forward. Step 20 – the remaining 3 players will follow their ghost and sit down on the chairs Step 21……. All 3 remaining players will go into spectator mode and watch the last player deal with a map that has turned into no mans land. Zombies and time keepers will spawn infinitely and devour what’s left of the map and eventually the 4th player… Ending- In the end 3 scientists have made it back home but one of them stayed behind and fell into the nothingness. The experiment is considered a failure and all 3 scientists have no recollection of what occurred. The fourth scientist is erased from history and never existed and life goes on as usual… never knowing of what really happened that day……never knowing of the time skip. The easter egg song is afterlife by avenged seventhfold The perks in the wunderfizz are as follows Juggernog Timey wimey wine Speed cola Double tap Quick revive Deadshot Electric cherry PHD ( extremely rare )
  18. Currently adventuring inside the Abandoned Temple of PlaytheGame. If I am right my map concept should be somewhere around here.......

  20. more concepts to be released this month.

  21. The Fool is watching what you are doing Saving civilians might not seem rewarding due to no powerups or perks being given to you. But remember....the Fool is Watching
  22. Dead Ops Arcade 3: Alpha – Omega Dead Ops arcade Alpha – Omega is a brand new Arcade styled map. Instead of being 1 Game it is actually 3 Games in one map. 23. Coming soon! Zombies arcade 3! Very soon!

  24. Lockdown 2012 is out! Oracle has been updated

  25. Lockdown 2012 WARNING: The following concept may include content not suitable for sensitive readers and it is suggested that you be prepared or leave for your own peace of mind. Cutscene: “The latest zombie outbreak has occurred within the hospital behind me. The entire building has been put in lockdown as we try to get a hold of the situation. There might still be some survivors inside and we are working as fast as we can.” The Look of the Map” Overall the map is very grim and very dark. Almost like a slaughterhouse. Most of the time you will barely be able to see unless you turn on the power. The map is a more realistic portrayal of a zombie outbreak. There are no happy endings, people are dying, and in the future the whole world will be nothing but death. You always play maps like Tranzit or Die rise but you never think about who the zombies were back when they were still human. Which is something we tend to forget while playing zombies. So consider this map concept me Trying to bring back the Horror and Tragedy into zombies. Area 1. The Roof When you spawn you begin on the Roof of the Hospital. The Clouds are grey and ugly as the sound of Moans escape the mouths of the undead. This area is flat and square. While zombies climb in from the ventilation shafts. Quick revive is here as well as the usual starting weapons. There is not much to see here so you will need to travel down. Area 2: Recovery Room This area can be accessed by climbing down the stairs and opening the door. Once you open the door though you will notice something you haven’t seen in a zombies map before. Civilians being attacked by zombies. Upon opening the door you will see a group of zombies chasing after a civilian. Shooting the zombies and saving the civilian will award you with Bonus Points. However if the civilian is Killed then he/she will reanimate as a zombie shortly. The recovery room has a U shaped front desk which connect to 3 other Hallways containing different rooms which the zombies spawn from. Outside the recovery room there is a waiting room and a window with a view of the outside. You can see the crowd of people on the street looking up at the building. As always you will be able to access the Mystery Box in Each area except the Roof. The only perk in the area is doubletap Area 2: The Operating Dome The hospital has a dome Like view of the operating table for medical students. On the operating table you will see zombies devouring the patient. You can’t save him. This area is circular and filled with cameras and equipment. Area 3:The Nursery Upon entering the Nursery you will notice a glass window. 2 Zombies will be in the room behind it slowly approaching a group of crying newborns. You can save the newborns by killing the zombies before the lights go out in the room. If you successfully kill the zombies then the lights will go out and when they turn on again the Cradles will be empty and the door open meaning that someone came in and rescued them successfully. If you fail to kill the zombies the lights will go out and when they turn back on the walls are stained in Blood. The nursery is mostly filled with Zombie Nurses. Many of the rooms are somewhat larger that the ones in the recovery room. The hallways are also much larger Area 4: The ground floor Lobby The ground floor is a big square shaped area in the very center of the hospital. To the left there is a pilar shaped elevator going up to other floors. First time you look at the elevator you can see the box falling down the shaft as people scream inside. When it crashes to the ground floor zombies will spawn from inside. There are savable survivors here as well. The ground floor is great for training zombies unlike the other areas of the hospital which are mostly cramped hallways with an occasional medium sized area to run around. Everything surrounding the main lobby is made of glass and if you look up you will see zombies pounding on the glass. Occasionally one of the windows will break and a zombie will fall from the upper floors down to the ground and splatter all over the place. Sometimes they survive and become crawlers. The ground floor has a few sub areas such as a gift shop and a drug store. They are not as big as the main lobby but they are big enough for players to camp In and try to hold out. Juggernog can be found in the drug store and speed cola in the gift shop Area 5: The cafeteria The cafeteria is a bunch of Tables here and there, some circular and others large and rectangle, while others are booths. Many of the tables are flipped over in in attempt to create barricades. However all failed. The cafeteria is more open that the nursery and the Viewing dome. However there are still obstacles here in which power is recommended ut not necessary for survival. The walls are bloody but beneath all the blood there are paintings of different locations of the world, landmarks and people. You can find the Pack a Punch here behind a gate. You can only access the pack a punch by turning the power on in the cafeteria and then waiting for the clock to hit 12. This will consume power. Characters Mulligan: A special Operative sent in to kill the undead and save any survivors left in the building. Mulligan wears body armor and is bald. His colors are Blue and Black. Spencer: Spencer is a CDC member who volunteered to enter the hospital in order to get some fresh samples of undead brains. He is curious about what brings the dead to life. Unlike mulligan who just wants to destroy them all. Spencer wear black and yellow body armor and wears a gasmask for his own protection Liz: Liz is a Medic and soldier sent in to help any wounded survivors. She has short punk hair and a scar across her face. Wears white and Black Body armor Derek: Derek is a scientist who wants to study undead behavior first hand. This kind of study cannot be recreated in a Lab because doing so means unleashing zombies on civilians on purpose. Although he hates the attire, he is forced to wear Green and Black Body armor for his own safety. Survivors Survivors are NPC that appear only whenever a Door is bought. Upon entering a room you might witness a civilian being attacked by zombies. Killing the zombies near him/her will Power The power in this map is extremely different that previous maps. Now there is a Battery meter at the very bottom left screen. You can turn on Power in each area individually but whenever the area has power the battery begins to count down. The hospital is working on a backup generator and power can only be routed to one area at a time. Unlike other maps where there is one power switch, in Lockdown each area has it’s own power switch. Activating the switch will turn on the power in that particular room and shut down power in the other room. If you run out of power then the lights will turn off all around the Hospital. When the lights are off it will leave you in total darkness save for a few flickering Lights. You have enough visibility to survive but lights are still very important if you want to avoid the Boss. New Powerup drop ENERGIZE!!!!: Energize will recharge your power Zombies The Zombies in this map are much more gorey that previous zombie models. Faces are torn off, bones are cracked and sticking out of the skin. Some of them drag their intestines around on the floor. Crawlers sometimes leave behind their internal organs as they chase you around. Using next gen graphical capabilities the undead now loose flesh wherever bullets hit. Instead of just the same chunks seen in black ops 2 . Shooting your starting pistol at a zombies face will slowly tear away at the facial features revealing red muscles and flesh even leaving eye sockets empty. Same thing goes for all body parts. Doctor Zombies: Zombies in medical attire Nurse zombies: Nurses that have reanimated Patient Zombies: Zombies which have reanimated while being treated. Civilian Zombies: Zombies that were reanimated in the waiting lobby Guard Zombies: Zombies wearing security guard uniforms. Boss Model 00 Fool Fool is a Robotic humanoid AI that can crawl on the ceilings. It’s eyes glow Blue and throughout the game will wander in through the ventilation shafts. Looking down at you. Fool will only attack you if you attack it. However due to it having Blue eyes and the map being so dark it can easily be mistaken for a zombie. When provoked its eyes begin to glow red and it will begin to attack. It can leap down from the ceiling, or chase after players twice as fast as regular zombies can. When it downs you it keeps attacking you which makes you Bleed out faster. A good tactic to avoid confronting Fool is to turn on the power in the area where you hear a mechanical buzzing sound. That way you can see where Fool is and avoid shooting it. Just remember to keep an eye on the power meter. The AI is in a way similar to chappie but without the rabbit like ears and the eyes are not screens but rather 2 glowing orbs. The mouth has teeth although they are mostly for show. Fool has a set of Gears on it's back which act as a vulnerable spot if you wind up having to fight it. Easter Egg Song Activate by finding 3 Zombie Xrays. They Glow. Easter Egg Quest Step 1: You will need to go to the cafeteria and look for repair tools on the one of the corpses. You will need to search each corpse like in Buried. Step 2: Once you have the repair Kit you must go to each area and locate the powerbox in each area. Step 3: You must search for broken wires on the ground. This can not be done with the power off. Unless the power is On the wires are invisible to the eye. ( The wires change position every game ) Step 4: You must repair each wire by holding X. Step 5: The wires must be repaired in the correct Order and if you fix one in the wrong order you must start over Step 6: Once the Wires are all fixed go to the Emergency Power room underneath the Hospital. You can access this area only during the easter egg but once you reach this point you can access it whenever. Take the Second Elevator which up until now looked like scenery. Step 7: Crank the switch. Have a buddy cover you because this switch needs to be cranked for a solid minute by holding down X. The noise will attract the attention of all the dead in the area which will come running towards the source of the sound. Step 8: You will hear a Buzzing sound and the power will come back on. The Emergency Power Room The Emergency power room is a dark room with a Power switch in it. It is medium sized and resembles tranzit's generator room but smaller and with steel plated walls instead of shiny walls. Reward: Once the egg is completed the Power will remain on for the rest of the Game.
