The Following Concepts are part of a much Larger concept filled with New buildables, Cryptids, Classes, story, and characters. These are just a few of the things I am working on. Think of it as an appetizer tray before a big meal.
New Cryptid Concepts
Arachnids - 8 Legged cryptids That shoot webs to slow players down. The webs can also Drag players closer to the Arachnid. This cryptid Glows reddish although it’s many eyes glow blue.
Wasps - Wasps are a new breed of cryptid. The smallest Cryptids to date. They Swarm out of the Barrier Hives and although these creatures are one shot one Kill, they usually spawn in swarms and target specific players. They slowly drain your health, impair vision, and impair movement. These Cryptids could fit in your palm. They glow Yellow and they have stingers as well as see through wings. You should keep your distance if you wish to defeat this threat.
New Classes
Exterminator - 20% More damage using Crossbow, Machete and Tomahawks, Retrieve Crossbow ammunition, Machete kills scare off nearby cryptids
Demolition - Explosives do more damage, Cryptids are attracted to your thrown explosives, for each explosive used you will throw 3 instead of 1.
Inventor - Can see schematics more easy, Buildables are superior to other players, Can find Schematics inside black boxes
New Ammunition
Note- Ammunition Types may be very effective against certain cryptids.
Acid Rounds - Ammunition that splashes acid.
Pulse rounds - A special type of ammo that emits a small pulse which kills all nearby cryptids. This ammo can not be deployed normally.
New Relics
Grounded - No Jumping, No sliding
Primitive - No Buildables
Butter Fingers - Lose Current weapon when Downed
Intel ? - They are changing
“ Before the Arks were opened we had classified the Cryptids using code names to Identify them. The scouts were the most common ones found, They were not that powerful compared to the Larger ones such as the Mammoth or the Rhino. A more deadly one was the Scorpion which had the ability to spray acid. Yet something feels wrong…...as the days go by in this warzone the cryptids seem to have adapted and changed. They are more dangerous now than ever before. I suspect the Ancestors are behind this…..if they could create a monster to protect the Arks..who knows what other horrors await us…”
