You need to be careful, some of these awards tend to encourage quantity over quality. Being in the off season it seems that drivel is rewarded. I donated because I don't post alot, that's my way of contributing to the site. I joined for love of zombies, talk tactics, ee theory. Not read about complaints and future zombies in every second thread. UOTM has lost all meaning if members talk crap just to keep the forum active. For that you need a pub section, anything else actually related to what we have then and only then should a candidate be awarded.

How Nuketown could have been better
superstudmuffin replied to Zombie_Slayer_115's topic in Nuketown
Nuketown is fine, for a small map it has good running areas. Moreso than some larger maps. I like the random drops as it spices things up and changes early round strategies. High round strategy I think all they needed was to incorporate a trap to make it a less tedious chore to knuckle out high rounds. I think a true wonder weapon would make it too easy and too quick. Fast spawns, open areas. A wonder weapon would make it one of the easiest maps ever made. Even easier than die rise.- 15 replies

My tip for no perks is run a weaker gun, reason being you can spam points and kill zombies with a lesser spawn in. Reason being if you wipe out a horde you have 24 new ones spawn in as apposed to a constant readable flow of just a few zombies. Only until you get jug

I'd be happy with smooth gameplay, less bugs. I'd also like an NML style mode on any small maps, or maps with restricted areas to limit size. Just for that extra mode basically But only solo and the option for short gameplay yet hardcore for those who sometimes don't have a spare 8 hours to waste. Maybe not too many maps as match making may suffer a little a soon as DLC drops.

Which would be better: Ranking system
superstudmuffin replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in Research & Development
Stop mocking, you talk crap. I wasn't bashing but you continue to harp on crap. I'm fed up. You average round 40. That's bullshit as you would be max rank I guarantee. Truth be it you think you deserve something for your mediocre gameplay and repeatedly make excuses for your inept zombie playing ability. Thus lashing out at true max rank players trying to change the system to suit your sub standard gameplay. If they are above you they obviously glitch and or smart enough to stop riding the tank god forbid that's there short coming. Seriously, the only rank 3arc should incorporate is a skull with tears coming out of it. Get better, stop complaining, grow a set. Stop talking shit, you go round 40 supposedly before getting bored and quit. That's 2 hours max solo on most maps. Go 2 hours on multiplayer you would be lucky to hit the sides of a decent high round. Yeah, let's make the system to suit people who play a lot, quantity over quality. Fuck me today's generation is about giving out trophies for last place. Now I am bashing. Wake up to yourself. -

Ok, 1 get better 2 don't ride the tank 3 get better Internet. Look I'm not bashing, I'm not a big poster on this forum moreso a reader. I Just get the impression from the threads you have posted you are genuinely not happy with zombies. I sure hope you enjoy the next game. Cheers -

I get the impression you feel hard done by with the current system and nothing will make you happy. I give up. -
160 is good. Remember players like Chopper are exceptionally good. Take small steps. I too made the mistake of trying to replicate these players. Like the saying you need to be able to walk before you can run. NML is frustrating, you wait until you get 159 then fail to PAP 5 games in a row, then play what you think is a beast game only to find out you got 161. I remember 1 game I thought I was clearing hordes cleanly and quickly and looking at about 270 only to find out I had 205. I don't think I was getting full spawns. NML is a cruel yet addictive game mode. I really hope next zombies has a NML style game mode. Good luck

This might not make sense but here goes, don't worry about the dogs but watch the dogs moreso than the zombies. If your getting 60 kills your getting PAP, that's stage 1. 2nd stage is PAP to jugg, this is just as hard as PAP as you need 2500 points with only a few shots and as quick as possible. again forget the dogs but focus on the dogs before firing a shot. Don't focus on killing the dogs, focus M&S placement or you will go down. Dogs will jump right into your shot. Once you have jugg you can get a little more trigger happy. Look at it in 3 stages. 1 PAP 2 PAP to Jugg 3 Kill quickly until out of ammo All 3 stages you need to play aggressive and quickly otherwise they get too strong and you waste ammo. Remember focus on the dogs more than the zombies, focus on killing the zombies more than the dogs. Sorry if I done your head in there. Ps, dogs will always spawn, the spawn is random and so is the number of them. To reduce or eliminate dog spawns is to play the entire game on the telepad.

Which would be better: Ranking system
superstudmuffin replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in Research & Development
Well what depicts good is the question... Consistent high rounds, no different to how it is now, but weight the maps. Eg bus depot round 15 is the same as round 30 on die rise as a deciding factor. -
After the second beep you can go to the telepad if you want to stop the dogs spawning, saying that they sometimes still spawn and your second nade is hard to time up there. It works for some but I can't master it. The only time I go up there is after PAP to get nig nog. After the 3rd beep I tend to not worry about the dogs at all until I've got my M&S, so you can end up with quite a few. It takes practice running with dogs and zombies. There will always be times where they leap across the map and wreck your day. That's just NML Personally I recommend playing even when speed cola drops, you tend to get better spawns and makes good practice for PAP consistency. Once you have a consistent PAP then only play for jug. I've done 196 with speed cola 6 minutes in and ammo left, makes good practice on M&S placement. Bloody dog thought I was shooting a tennis ball and tried to catch it right in front of me. Lol.

Which would be better: Ranking system
superstudmuffin replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in Research & Development
Keep it the same I reckon but instead of days played tally marks, use these marks as map specific. Eg, shotguns Say 5 tallies you are very good at that map, 1 tally being not so good. -
After The running beep I make my way to the pipe clockwise from the side drop, at the side drop usually allows 2 extra kills. On your way over to the pipe will usually net you one more double knife kill and 1 dog. Once you reach the pipe you want to cut back and loop anti clockwise of the front pool to the front PAP cage. Now back at the front of the cage you should be at your second beep or slightly after. Don't get to fussed on nade placement as a few crawlers will net you more points through knifing. Hold your ground here for a few seconds as you have some time before the spawns reach you. Hopefully 2 dogs will spawn as they are still 1 hit kill. Next beep, dogs become 2 hits. Your about to leave and start next anti clockwise loop from pipe to side drop. Leave the dogs alone now and concentrate on using your pistol for points. Now it's time for your second nade on the side drop of the pap cage. Everything going well you have injured most zombies before the nade and accumulated points, this nade needs good timing. Quickly fire your last round of ammo into the crawlers. This should be enough points without knifing the last ones. In the event you need to knife after second nade I loop the edge of the cage, this keeps the runners and dogs tight but the crawlers on there own for safety.

only ever played moon 2 or 3 times, NML is just too damn good to want to play the main map. Now i have grey hair, kick every dog that looks at me sideways and have general anger management issues these days. LOL. God i love NML. Insert nervous twitch smiley here. Buy it.

Most angry person you've heard, stories plz!

i have 2 shotgun accounts, one for mates and one for pub games. Played a pub game of bus depot survival. This bloke was mouthing off from the start as think he was jealous i had shotguns. He stole kills early so i purchased the M14 to get headshots before he killed the zombies in my window. He started abusing me fr having the lowest kills and being a noob for buying a wall gun. As always i purchase the door so they can hump the box, still having the least kills i'm coping more abuse. I hit the box about round 8 for the first time, after all i was then content on using the mp5 at this stage but due for some box hits for some stopping power. He kept EMP ing my box hits. At this stage i think he had an axe to grind trying to prove a point against shotguns, he actually played pretty well and in his defence played until the end of the game. After round 10 he hit is limit and started going down quicker than a $2 hooker. I ended up dragging them to 17 rounds with 24 revives. I've copped more abuse before but this one felt good. I never did get an apology though. -
1. getting abit trigger happy with the M&S. 2. reviving yourself whilst in the acid trap. 3. forget to check elevator 4. try and make jump whilst drinking a perk 5. killed by denizen, forgot to put turbine down wondering why it wont jump off your face.

Have you gotten lucky lately?
superstudmuffin replied to Mr. Jay's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Played a 4 player Motd yesterday, best described as organised kaos. One player had 58 downs and we where in stiches from laughter nearly all game. Not only was he a funny bloke on the mic he's actions in game were comical aswell. Going down in the acid trap and then reviving himself in the acid trap as an example. 4 players running trains in opposite directions in the cafeteria while the traps on with acid gats and redeemers going everywhere. We stayed together the entire game, if a player went down we all did a jugg run together mid round. We basically played every part of the map the entire game. Ended up going 45 rounds, 3 downs and 14 revives. It was without a doubt the most entertaining and enjoyable game of zombies i've ever played. -
- carry over statistics from bo2, even the ranking system. - more indepth EE's - dont make us do EE steps for general gameplay - speed up games, allow multiple parts to be carried. Allow the organised player to carry others without looping the map 15 times to set up. - a new style NML mode and ranking for every new map. - Personally, i think Bo2 was pretty good.

Ok, this would be fun and very intense. 4 player game holding down PAP. The rules are any perks are allowed. The only weapons allowed are explosive weapons. M&S, Rocket propelled greavance, Dystopic demolisher. That is all. No traps, no nuckles or bowie knife. You may have monkeys but no emp. Claymores are allowed. quick revive will be your best freind. Once you or team enter there is no leaving. You shall die in the PAP room. It is inevitable. Bwahahaha!

Down for 6 weeks after having a knee operation. I'm making the most of it and playing as much as possible. Generally i have limited time for long games normally. Got a PB of 75 today so pretty pumped. Going back to NML i think and see if i can get that 300 once and for all

What is your favorite "WEAPON" in zombies?
superstudmuffin replied to CBR_600_RR's topic in General Zombies Discussion
m16 and STG. Love my M&S too. Every time i pull them out of the machine it's like " yeah baby". then i go do something stupid. -
Sorry, i misunderstood. If thats the case then yes i'd be all for it.
-
i like it however it must be map specific, imagine running farm on tranzit. Just charge your redeemer and kill at any level. Whilst it's equipt it needs t be really tight maps or NO power ups. On Motd you could run all day on the bridge but it's slow, if you wanted to replenish ammo you needed to go back. That balanced it a little. In saying i love the idea, just think it would be overpowered in open areas with max ammo drops. Edit, i think it would be perfect if it was like claymores. 2 shots per round or more if a. max ammo drops

The thought crossed my mind about nuketown aswell, maybe something regarding the 115 extraction drill?
