Official CallOFDuty.com BO2 Viral thread - UPDATE 7
STOTTINMAD replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
Alpha, is on to something with Verrucky. The asylum, where a squad was sent in, completely anihilated and only one survived (Dempsey) there's been those messages on the terminal about that, notes from someone named John or something, you know more than I do, I'm pulling from memory. Could the asylum mean that this Tacitus weapons company/manufacturer of the future went back there. I mean its a technological goldmine like Der Riese. And they would be so much stuff related to 935. I also have a suspicion the Nazi ties to all this aren't completely gone, since 935 wasn't the only operation group. There was loads. Even GK remnants would pop up. You never know. -

I'm determined to find something actually relevant because so far, I've been wrong on everything ,Tacitus, Numbers etc so hopefully this is my chance at redemption. Probably not but here it is 118 remains constant, could it be referencing the element Ununoctium, which seems to have a few scandals behind it... as for 110-118 (we know 115 is in the middle of that) so nothing new there. And nothing relating to this and 110. I'll see if I can find anything else. but it probably come up nought. -
On Der Riese Which side do you open up first
STOTTINMAD replied to chimpanste's topic in World At War
I alternate depending on players, I adapt to the situation and plan accordingly. I'm like that If I go trenchgun way I get the M1 Carbine (apologies if spelt wrong and stuff) because it is surprising good and powerful, and can kill dogs. Plus upgraded it's truly amazing... wish I had gone that way before. Of course my favourite wall gun is Thompson and thus most times I go that way. But in Black Ops all three of my guns will be wall Thompson Carbine Type 100 (surprised, its good all rounder, good for head shots and I like its accuracy On WaW my favourite combo was Thompson and FG-42 (I could control recoil on FG to an extent) I rarely use the box. I couldn't care less if you get the Aug or Galil. I like the weapons but ammo is a problem if you wait for a max ammo. Wall guns gurantee ammo, if you look after points. -
Could Mason and others try to solve the JFK assassination?

I have also had the feeling that the release of that new code relates to the sleeper agents. A good theory, I have a suspicion its right, maybe Tacitus as a weapon's company gained information from the files on 935, GK, Nova 6 etc and planned to use it, through the people, who think they have free thoughts. I love mind control. So much so that my book features it to an extent, anyways I agree with your idea! -
Enemy could be anywhere, discussion thread.

Could it be referring to mind control, and how it has played a signficant role in Black Ops, and how it also impacted the characters of zombies also. Just saying. -

another thing I found relating to the number 34 is that it is Atomic number of Selenium – Meaning moon. Discovered in 1817 by Jöns Jakob Berzelius. I just thought the moon reference would be interesting to look at. -

I was looking up things actually relating to Quadrotor, and some links appeared referring to a Quadrotor swarm, nano bots and stuff, although it may be unrelated theres been a lot about weaponising it, with bioweaponry and stuff. Still its an interesting read. I'm just trying to look at things over than Tacitus, as every over search seems to go back to Ahnenerbe, that I posted about on page three, and noone took any interest in that, so I assume its not significant but if anyone is curious with Ahnenerbe, then they were part of the SS and did operation all other the planet relating to ancient history, and in some cases bio-weaponry. it's also strange the amount of stuff about Nanotechnology and quadrotor I was also looking up things relating to Yuri, and found this on the Biopreparat and a Yuri Ovchinnikov. It was a system of 18, nominally civilian, research laboratories and centers scattered chiefly around European Russia, in which a small army of scientists and technicians developed biological weapons such as anthrax, Ebola, Marburg virus, plague, Q fever, Junin virus, glanders, and smallpox. It was the largest producer of weaponized anthrax in the Soviet Union and was a leader in the development of new bioweapons technologies. theres some stuff on wikipedia about it, and a few other sites. -

STOTTINMAD replied to Strwrsbob's topic in General Discussion
I know its wikipedia but, this is something to look into, because once again it seems we are reminded of then nazi and we know they were involved with the 'Giant' Project. Nazi archaeology Nazi archaeology refers to the movement led by various Nazi leaders, archaeologists, and other scholars, such as Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler, to research the German past in order to strengthen nationalism. This movement, which set out to bring the glory of the Roman Empire back to Germany, was based on ideas of Tacitus' Germania the link is - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_archaeology Another thing that got me thinking too The Ahnenerbe Organisation and its symbol is - http://www.germaniainternational.com/ahnenerbe.html The site references those involved in organisation and things it released. Plus like the Ascension Group and 935. This group researched things for Hienrich Himmler, and went all other the world. There is a link freemasonry, and if Im correct the Freemasons have been tied with the Illuminati. Someone can confirm that. - The guy in particular is Dr. Walter Darre, was the creator of its blood and soil idealogy. I'm sorry these are brief but i'm busy doing work, if this is all wrong, then I apologise, but I feel some of stuff maybe of relevance. -
I tend to go into the games with the mindset of: 1: No box till later on, maybe after round twenty or pack a punch 2: Main gun is a wall weapon so Thompson, Ak7u, or Mp40 etc. 3: Get Jug 4: Get Speed Cola 5: Get mule Kick 6: Get quick revive - if others are going down a lot. My strategy differs depending on who I am with, in that respect I'm adaptable, I also aim to keep everyone alive, either by providing cover fire is someone needs reviving, or going revive someone. I consider myself the medic of any team. As for doors, I open my fair share, and as I rarely use the box, I leave randoms to it. Knowing that as long as one or more of us have jug and good weapons we may survive. I use teleporters rarely, and only under circumstance where there aren't breaches in the advancing horde. I look for gaps if I need to escape. I use to camp, but now I just keep moving, or stay in one place, and if some is doing a train, I leave them alone, unless the place is where my primary supply of ammo is located.

Nope. I think the Man on the NDU screen is an older Richtofen working with the Americans. He decided to go back and Alter his own future ala, Biff from BTTF II. This also means there could be more than one Richtofen, I believe there could be three Dr. Richtofens in all traveling the timelines. That would explain the older richtofen in the Kino image, is possible that the three richtofen's could be backups... its hard to explain. Oh and I wrote a incompleted story on here suggesting that Edward and Yuri were working together if thats possible. Alpha you know more than I do, so in terms of theories I'm not gonna trry and compete but offer suggestions. I'll make a new thread soon explaining why I believe this to be the case. Regards Alpha.
-
Thats interesting, I always thought the NDU loading screen was Yuri, it's possible. And Alpha you win this one. Maybe I'm wrong about Gersch but hey, it was worth a shot. As for that screen, I nearly considered the idea that Ascension and Der Riese were in fact helping eachother over different time periods. I'm not entirely confident with this. But then what do I know.
-
This. Yes I agree, these are the easter eggs I like. You don't need a big thing to tell story, its like reading a book, and Ive lost where Im going with this, so I will end this post here. Anyway I would love a map with no perks or pack a punch. That to me is survival. No second chances, No super weapon, just you, lead and a horde of undead eager to devour your brain.
-
This I agree with. I loved the WaW maps, the most recent just aren't as good. Playing Kino again I like it, I even enjoy Five and Ascension but the other maps took zombies down path to orientated by sci-fi. I liked the balance between horror and sci-fi but it seems to have shifted to more of a sci-fi story. I love science fiction but you need to get the balance right. Dead Space did it with its necromorphs, so why not the zombie mode. Ok they are different but you see my point.
-
What about Gersch, you release him in ascension. And im sure you hear the sound of a teleporter. Don't get me wrong, Alpha I agree, your view is sound and makes sense, but Sam does mention on Moon regretting not killing Gersch or something, so this may be wrong, but it also sound likely.

Let's take a second look at the Ascension loading screen...
STOTTINMAD replied to MixMasterNut's topic in Moon
A fantastic post, the idea of those three rockets being from ascension seems very likely and possibly... Now does is it mean that it is remotely possible that during Ascension when we launched the first rocket, something simiilar happened elsewhere. In which two other rockets were launched to be stationary on the moon until they were needed. On another note was this what The Maxis's wanted, isn't there radio where Ludvig says to a trapped Samantha -(Kill them all - referring to 935)- but Samantha realised that the flaw to whole killing 935 lay in Richtofen's manipulation of Tank,Takeo and Nikolai. The only way to put things into place was to push and pull the characters in whatever direction she wanted by using the aether, we don't even know how we got from Kino to Ascension (or do we if so I'm interested in knowing) Sam could have set them on the path, gave them the weapon and let them pull the trigger. Freeing Gersch and doing the other things after meant Edward played right into her plans... twisting his own plan against him. Kinda. The earth is mostly destroyed. Furthermore, if they are indeed the rockets from Ascension ande the Moon base was American do this mean in the Zombie storyline the Americans and Russians put aside differences and tried to collorbate with one another... failing inevitably. If anything is wrong there then I apologise I recently fixed my Black Ops disc, and have thus stalled in exploring the story. Edit: Ignoring the riddles for a sec in Abracadavre you could make a few strange conclusions from what we know now, concerning the moon and stuff. for example These shackles they come, With certain opportunities. They won't let me get away, But they show me we're the same. (My original view was -These shackles have come with certain oppertunities may relate to the Kassmir Mechnism (Sorry about my spelling) also she maybe comparing herself to the four characters therefore she may wish to see an end to all this) Now I think it was just referring to her being imprisoned in the pyrimid - shackled in many ways, the opportunity to thus manipulate it to her will and plan What goes up must never come back down! ( My first opinion was - At first I thought a meteorite but then I thought - Rocket) And that the rockets contain 115 for them to come back to earth which they do would have catastrophic consequences, she could be seen as forewarning us of the future in the song. I apologise my mind has got an active imagination.... I accept if this is wrong but it wouldn't hurt to relook at the songs. -
spelling error on my part, I meant Horror - the kind of stuff that makes us scared, incorporating what they did in Verruckt. Make the zombies scary in their own way.
-
I think the zombies mode should be made to be more challenging in some areas, such as no pack a punch on some maps, or certain perks. Introduce the horrow aspect again, what did kinda in Verruckt, Der Riese, and Ascension. The story needs that. i love a bit of sci-fi but there is a fine line. And they went to over board. I prefer most of the old maps from waw and I only really like Ascension, Moon was an interesting challenge, but storyline wise, they've put themselves into a corner. I hope they find away out. Possibly making post-apocalyptic or something.

The Future of Zombies after black ops
STOTTINMAD replied to STOTTINMAD's topic in General Zombies Discussion
i can just imagine the glitches already............ That is understandable, but I've played Red Faction and despite that possiblity. it rarely glitched. It's possibility Treyarch could incorporate to bring life to the zombies mode. Shake things up a bit. and the undead being more super human than human should be like they were in Verruckt, faster than the player. The AI was good too in my opinion -
The Future of Zombies after black ops
STOTTINMAD replied to STOTTINMAD's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I understand the moon is real, but the idea of a alien maching being theres seems strange, if it crashed on earth then that would be a fun map... -
The teleporter suddenly activated, eletricity fizzling from its core. Grey faced Sharp and then approached the teleporter. Sharp was still fighting off the horde, that continued to grow, with every kill. When suddenly something appeared, shaped very much like a atomic bomb. Sharp moved towards it, and suddenly the Horde dropped, flames licking their bodies, much to her amusal. This was soon followed by a demonic voice that sounded distinctively female 'Kaboom' Grey looked up, and shivered, "Just what have we stumbled upon.. Group 935... zombies... demons... what where the Germans up too in Al Khali." Sharp shrugged, relieved that the Horde wasn't regathering for the moment. She stood by Grey's side, as he inspected the activated teleporter. "I wonder who activated it?" "And where it leads" finished Sharp. Four figures emerged before them, appearing in shower of sparks 'Ooh soo this is vhere it leads." "Alright, we should be - hold on who the hell are you two, friends of yours Richtofen?" asked the man who sounded American. "Oh no, never met them in my life, Dempsey." "I couldn't care less who they are! I'm getting sober." "And... you russ..russ oh..." said the Japanese man. "Takeo! have you been at my Vodka again? I said stay away from my Vodka for a reason." "Zombies...." "And you, of course, idiot" "What?" said Takeo in his drunken state. A puzzled Grey remained speechless. (too be continued)

The Future of Zombies after black ops
STOTTINMAD replied to STOTTINMAD's topic in General Zombies Discussion
The one game I think treyarch could look too for interactive maps is red faction. You can practically destroy anything in them games. In our case it could be used by the player to slow down the zombies or create an escape route. It also involve easter eggs and hidden things, like rooms or something. -
How do you deal with greedy box spenders?
STOTTINMAD replied to YourDragon son's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Depends if I'm in acertain mood, most games Igo without box for ages, a Thompson/Mp-40 can go a long way. Plus being a random box, what you see you may not want. I don't tend to mind people who box, its only later on when ammo is scarce when they start angering me. -
The Future of Zombies after black ops
STOTTINMAD replied to STOTTINMAD's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Firstly by real i meant certain aspects, there is a place called Der Riese in our world, plus the element 115, and of course I understand what you mean. I'm saying that it doesnt have be a fallout style game, it could use certain bits to improve the the gaming style. I like the zombies mode, Ive enjoyed it since WaW, but I do feel its becoming too repetitive. I understand where your coming from though. Something new could work, and the old characters could return. There are so many possiblities. -
Something intersting I found? (Got Sent)
STOTTINMAD replied to Abell's topic in General Zombies Discussion
This looks awfully suspicious, its possibly true... possibly not. If its true good find, if the latter then clearly you got way too much time on your hands -
With the recent release of MW3, then the chances are, black ops will like all other cods before it, become a distant memory. But zombies as always live on, and the question I ask is what would you like to see in the next zombie game, personally I want a more interactive storyline, a rpg style survival game. Now before you all start complaining this would ruin the experience, I think it would inject a little of that spark zombies needed, for me once we got to the moon I lost the enjoyment of the storyline, the realism of it got me hooked, with Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese in my opinion being more believable, and if it had been just area 51 then I may have enjoyed it more. Don't get wrong, I enjoyed the Moon, but not as much as Der Riese or Shi No Numa. Also a map without the PaP would be have been a nice twist but anyway Im going to get to my point... A rpg would allow us to be anywhere on earth, and if its after the 115 missiles left Earth a wasteland then thats even better. Imagine being able to make your own character, and having your own weaponry, obviously ammo would be scarce and you folllow the storyline anyway you liked, helping or hindering richtofen. But imagine the level design, it would be brilliant. I did enjoy the round aspects of Cod Zombies but it can become too repetitive, the A.I in some cases need to be enhanced to shake things up a little. You can keep most of other aspects of zombies, but one more thing you should at some point be able construct your own weapon (possibly), I on the official board saw some brilliant weapon designs that could be used. And thats my suggestion, I rambled a bit I admit but its what I think could happen if Treyarch put their minds to it... its their choice though, and I cant gurantee any of you will agree, but its just an idea. Develop, destroy its in your hands now.
