From what I heard, the guy on the front of the poster is not Dempsey. It's supposedly the lead singer from the band, Ice Nine Kills, which is doing the, I'm assuming, EE song or Intro song. Here is the video I heard this from.

You made a choice to get an Xbox before the dlc info was released. If you miss out, that's kind of your own fault in every sense of the word. I'm sure Activision would rather piss off the couple million Xbox owners that would buy COD, rather than the possible 8 or so on PS (if it's current gen only, let's all hope). It makes all the sense in the world to switch, and I think you guys severely overestimate the amount of people who actually bought an XB1 with COD in mind. Contributing factor sure, essential factor not so much. The only people who will be mad, are those who aassumed, and the people who are part of the competitive community, who will now be forced to buy a ps4. Few thousand people, if that. Edit: Again though it all comes down to the money. If there is more money to be made by mak8ng the switch, they will, if not then they won't. I just think you guys way over estimate the amount of people who really care, and it's only a big deal for the first dlc anyways. By the way Mocking, he's got a point. Even before this Sony change info was released.

You may want to calm down just a wee bit. First off, it's just a game. Second, it's only 30 days. Every single PlayStation player had to wait and didn't complain has much as you have now. I don't really see this as that big of a problem that you intend it to be. And there is absolutely no reason to call every PlayStation user a "douchebag." Can't really say that any of the Xbox users are any better. Quite honestly, no one is better. So, you might want to calm down just a bit over a Video Game company deciding to make their own decisions and change there exclusivity to another Console. Again, it's only a game and 30 days. It's really not that big of a deal like you really think it is. To be completely honest, I do think that is a good idea to step away for sometime after some not-so-nice comments over something so little. Sorry to ruin your Xbox experience just because of one single game.

That gun concept, honestly, does look like the outline in the DICE picture up above. But the only problem is, we don't have a confirmed list of weapons or at least any confirmed pictures containing the weapons in the game that has been posted by Treyarch. Even though that gun concept does look similar to the outlined gun, up above, we don't necessarily know if that exact gun concept is in the game. But honestly NV, I do believe that gun concept fits the outlined gun and there is a possibilitypossibility that gun is in the game. We just can't necessarily believe that it is until we get a confirmed list of weapons that are in the game or at least several pictures posted by Treyarch that contains weapons. You know what I'm saying NV?
-
We can't really confirm what gun this is until get an actual confirmed list from Trearch of the weapons in Black Ops III. You could look at so many websites to try and find a list of weapons that are "in the game" but it's not actually confirmed by Trearch so there is a high chance that that list is not real. Personally, I believe that this a picture from zombies because the zombies game mode only features a glowed-chalk outline on the walls. Also if you notice behind this polaroid picture, you can notice the cover for Call of the Dead and what could possibly be a picture of a building from Der Reise. This what it looks like in my opinion and anyone can share what they think this picture could be. Disregarding what weapon this is because we will not know until a confirmed list of weapons is released by Treyarch.

I don't believe that it has anything to do with engine. I may be wrong but I do not believe that has to do with the games engine. The engine is what makes the games graphics look really good and run smooth.

I would think that it would matter of the version you play on. For example, you could possibly play the game on WIndows XP or Vista (if anyone out there still as that crap) but the game wouldn't work to the performance it should be on, say, Windows 7, 8 or 10. You could still have a really great gaming computer but still have a not-so-good OS and the game wouldn't perform to it's standards. But I don't know why anyone would have that combination of a great gaming computer and a not-so-good OS. I'm just giving an example.
-
If anyone hasn't already, I can try to asking Ali-A or MrDalekJD. A few YouTubers that I know have already played the multiplayer at the Treyarch studios a few weeks ago. If I get an answer, I will share it on here.

This is a perfect example to why it would be likely that Playstation would get the DLC first before Xbox. The PS4 sales compared to the XB1 sales are very far apart. I hear more and more people are abandoning their XB1's because they aren't performing to what they should performing. I believe that just because of the big difference in sales with PS4 on top of the XB1, PS4 should get early access to DLC and there has been a lot of talk about this happening. For all of those Xbox die hards getting all mad about this potentially happening, do not say that they should make it fair and have the DLC's out at the same time because Playstation has always had to wait another month to get any type of DLC or extra content with the Call of Duty series. I believe that it should be Playstation's turn to have DLC and extra content before Xbox. I got an Xbox for the exact purpose of getting zombies DLC early, that is like, the ONLY reason I have it over the PS4. To give it to playstation now would be a MAJOR dick move to everyone who owns an Xbox. Gamers who truly love COD bought XBONES for the exact reason of getting the DLC early. Also you playstation die-hards should realize that not everything should belong to one console (rude isn't it). You've gotten destiny, the arkham series, and many other things. Xbox gets COD, it's only fair to the COD lovers, and the Xbox community. If treyarch let everyone have it at the same time, everyone's happy, if you let Xbox have it first, everything's normal, if you let PS have it first, that's going to piss a LOT of people off, like me. I completely understand what you're saying (because that happens every single year to Playstation) but I really don't want to start an unnecessary Console War. Personally, I believe that it's unfair that Xbox gets the DLC's first before Playstation. Do I think that Activision should released the DLC on the same day for everyone? Yes I do, but I also believe that it is unfair to the Playstation users who've had to deal with the many years of waiting a month for the DLC to be released. What I think that Call of Duty and Activision should do with settling this indifference with the release of the DLC's is they should do a rotation like with what they do right now with Treyarch, Sledgehammer and Infinity Ward. Try rotating years with each platform and have one platform get the DLC early. Try giving the DLC to Playstation first for Black Ops III and then after that game, maybe let PC get the DLC first, while Playstation and Xbox get it at the same time and vice versa for every rotation. I just believe that Activision needs to settle the DLC release and not one-side it one console constantly, every single year. Hint-hint...Xbox every single year... Maybe the rotation for DLC's does not work. Then the only way to settle that is to have the DLC's released on one day for all three platforms. Not just one. I think that it's time for other platforms to get an even share of when the DLC is released for them instead of waiting a whole another month for the extra content to be released. Again, I am not going to start a console war. I am just stating that the release of the Call of Duty DLC needs to be fair and these are plausible ways to make that happen. This is a perfect example to why it would be likely that Playstation would get the DLC first before Xbox. The PS4 sales compared to the XB1 sales are very far apart. I hear more and more people are abandoning their XB1's because they aren't performing to what they should performing. Neither do I. I was just sharing what I found. I don't believe anything that is posted by 3rd party sources regarding the game this early. Unless it's posted by Trearch or Activision, then I will obviously believe it.

According to blackops3.co.uk, there is a "rumored" list of the weapons already. It's too hard to tell if these are real but this a list of weapons according to the website. This is considered to be more rumored information than leaked since it's not entirely confirmed. The "rumored" list of weapons is as follows: Black Ops 3 Weapons Assault Rifle AK-12 HK-416 ACR Honey Badger CM901 Vepr Scar-L SMG/PDW Scar PDW PDR MSBS MP7 SM-1 Max-11 UMP-9 MSMC JS-9 Bizon Shotgun RAS-12 Six12 Saiga 12 KSG UTS-15 Origin 12 LMG/Heavy Weapon M27 IAR RPK-12 F90 HBAR HAMR Shrike MK46 Marksman Rifle RFB Buzzard SA-58 MK14 G28 Sniper Rifle Ballista SRS AX XLR Evo M98B M408 Pistol M93 G18 SW500 Rhino Warrior MP 15-22 Tac 15

What about Remastered Zombies for Next-Gen?
Waddles replied to Waddles's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I like the idea of adding PaP to the maps that don't have it but I believe that you are going to remaster the maps and have PaP on maps that don't have it, then you have to remaster them all. You can't just remaster two maps to just add one or two things. You have to remaster them all. I think that they should add PaP to those maps and maybe even make Nacht bigger somehow and add PaP and more perks; at least Jugg and Speed, maybe Double Tap. I would like to see Kino to be bigger but I'm not sure what else TreyArch could add to the map. That would be really cool but also pointless. I do believe that should retry on Tranzit. At least make it better. I don't think that adding a new route will make it better. It was bad to begin with. The only thing that made the map look good was the teaser trailer before the game even came out. Just retry making the map. Get rid of the fog and maybe denizens. At least not attacked every single second you walk in the fog. Adding Flopper to every map would actually be great. It would be very helpful, especially against the splash damage from the Ray Gun. I do believe that they should add Flopper to Die Rise to where you don't take any damage when jumping from building to building or down a level. The only thing that they should do with that is you should still die if you fall all the way down at the bottom of the map. I don't see there any point to add the M1911 to Origins. The whole point of the map and uniqueness is the Mauser. That was the whole point in the trailers and teasers they had for the map. Even you were to add the M1911 to the box at least, no one would use it because it's a pistol and not a very high damage weapon. So it's honestly a pointless idea to add the M1911 to Origins. I just believe that if you are going to remake a map to just add PaP to it, then you have to remaster them all. I would really love to see all of the old maps remastered and play them on 60 fps and on a new engine. That would look incredible. -
What about Remastered Zombies for Next-Gen?
Waddles replied to Waddles's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Because they wouldn't wait for Sledge to get their engine ready and then start to actually working on their game. IW might do it but even they most likely will continue developing their own version of IW engine now that Raven Software merged with Infinity Ward. Treyarch has used their own versions of the engines since World at War. With World at War Treyarch took it's own path with the engine upgrades and Infinity Ward kept upgrading theirs. All Treyarch CoD's since W@W use modified IW3.0. (CoD 3 didn't use IW engine at all.) Infinity Ward kept upgrading their engine from IW3 to IW4 and so on. Sledge Hammer's current engine is most likely based on Modern Warfare 3's engine that they mostly overhauled for Advanced Warfare's needs. If you want more detailed list on how the engines for each game go I can post it. I never once said that the Remastered version of all zombie maps is going to be Treyarch's next game. I know that you aren't saying that but it sounds like you are. I'm saying that this could happen in the future. Not next Treyarch release. This could be a project that could be worked on after they are done with their next release. -

Why wouldn't they? They can use it because it's own by Activision mainly. They have all rights to use it. -

I believe that at least coming out with an updated version of all of the maps wouldn't be that big of a problem. Maybe at lease re-render the maps and use the new engine and get rid of all of the glitches and bugs. I don't think that could be that hard of a task. Like I had already said, Treyarch doesn't just need the zombie team to work on remastering all of the maps. Any worker at Activision or Treyarch can do it; it's just re-rendering, de-bugging, and incorporating the new engine, that will obviously be re-colored. -
What about Remastered Zombies for Next-Gen?
Waddles replied to Waddles's topic in General Zombies Discussion
Next-gen is doing a lot of difference. Better lobbies (depending on how it is set up). 10x better graphics than old-gen. Better mechanics. Less glitches. Next-gen has proved that games are getting more advanced and a lot better. There is no reason not to remaster all of the zombie maps. I'm not saying focus on the remaster and not the new maps. I'm sure Activision can get more people to work on remastering the zombie maps. It's not like it just needs to be the zombie team that has to work on fixing and remastering all of the maps. Any other Treyarch or Activision team can do it. It's just upping the graphics, mechanics, and getting rid of glitches. It shouldn't be that big of a problem than what you are making it sound like. -

What do you mean "wasted resources" @Matuzz? -
Aw yes! I feel so special now to get that title. That's going on my signature.

Well I had gone into the chat room to see if I could get in and I did, through my phone. I wasn't able to get in on my computer though.

What about Remastered Zombies for Next-Gen?
Waddles replied to Waddles's topic in General Zombies Discussion
To be honest, I wouldn't care how much the game would cost. I would still buy it. If it were to be normal $60 or more, I would still get it. I would love to see all of the maps remastered. Especially Der Reise, Nacht, and Kino. -

So what you are saying is that all of that is how much it would cost to remaster each map? -

I was kinda hoping that Treyarch did have a DLC5 and remaster some of the old maps for BO2. But I'm also glad that they didn't so that they could possibly make this standalone game. -
What about Remastered Zombies for Next-Gen?
Waddles replied to Waddles's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I think that it would attract a lot of sales. The reason why is because it's something different in the Call of Duty series. It's not the typical Campaign, Multiplayer and whatever crappy co-op game mode besides zombies...i.e. Infinity Ward. The standalone would something different to the CoD series. I'm not saying it's going to win Game of the Year and surpass GTA V's release on Day 1. But I think that it could help the declining sales and be more of a relief type of game. Something different than a campaign and whatnot. Something that a lot of people would look forward too. -

Waddles replied to Waddles's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I believe that if they were to do make the standalone, it would boost their motivation to make the zombie series even better than what it already is and potentially keep it going with the original characters. As long as they don't bring back the new crew, I'll be fine.
