  1. The Shrink Ray "Babymaker"? A dragon iron sight? I thought it was just some type of green moss or nature-like substance that effected the weapon. Actually, I thought it was a modified Wunderwaffe. The design is pretty similar it's just that instead of using the bulbs for ammo and such, they implemented the nature-like substance. Whatever the case, I want a Wonder Weapon that has personality just like the Wunderwaffe. When you load it, it speaks to you. It responds to the amount of kills you get. It connects with the user on a personal level of approval and/or disapproval. It would be so TITS if they made a diesel-punk style Dragon Flamethrower of my description with the reload animations and such but instead of it looking like a real dragon it's a machine-like dragon. With gears and chains and all the fan-fare to make one want to blow a load all over the horde. Alright, we want something more different while being serious and gritty. So, what about the Bow and Arrow? Call it... Ullr's Bow. It works like the one in MP that explodes upon impact but instead of the explosion it works like the Wunderwaffe. You shoot an enemy and it emits a type of reaction to the whole crowd. What type of reaction, though, would be the key thing that could make or break this weapon. Maybe, separate arrows that give off separate reactions? Allowing the player to decide which arrow to use in any sort of situation. A revive arrow, a lightning arrow, maybe a grapple arrow that attaches to a solid wall and slings the user towards the wall a la beast mode. Maybe an upgraded arrow that does something to the ilk of my fireball design. Except instead of it being a type of arrow that you aim to use, it's an activation arrow that auto-shoots into the air and lands on the heads of all the zombies in it's area of attack. It could work like killing time without the freeze mechanic but with instant results. This would allow the player to look bad ass while reviving a teammate before slinging away, back to their train position. The fireball upgrade could work like MP but look like something from Evil Dead. The scene where the Deaddites invade the Army of Darkness castle and the archers defending the castle shoot dynamite arrows. This could be a concept that could be expanded upon. Instead of just dynamite arrows, it will work like the auto-arrow I described earlier. It auto-shoots into the air and instead of landing on the heads of zombies it just starts landing on the floor exploding upon impact, clearing out any and all zombies that stand before you. The question is whether or not you would take explosive damage from this, I would recommend not. Although, what would be more interesting is an Alt. Shot concept with the Bow and Arrow. Each arrow has an Auto-Shot special that reacts differently with each arrow you use. A Revive arrow revives everyone in the area you shoot it at, the lightning arrow shoots bolts of lightning from the sky, shocking the zombies and turning them to dust even, in the area you shoot it. The grapple arrow would be a weird Alt. Shot because the Alt Shot is the grapple but the Reg Shot works like the grapple for Beast mode with zombies. Except instead of an explosion when the zombie reaches you, you instead activate an animation of you insta-knifing the zombie in the head. An ice arrow could freeze all the zombies in that area allowing you to maneuver your way to revive someone or escape. You could obviously get really wild with this concept but I would rather stick to the Revive Arrow, the Dynamite Arrow, and the Grapple Arrow. Three each with their own purpose and use to help someone, decimate the hordes, or escape. It's all good and fun to imagine and pretend...
  2. So, now that we are caught up with the fact that this upgrade is still possible, let's start creating some type of hypothesis on how to do so! Enough jibber jabber about coding and Tranzit! What is our next lead besides this Floating Book? The possibility of a random Umbrella lying around with an undetermined purpose? The possibility of using the Servants Gersch-like ability to suck up a useful object outside the map, the umbrella perhaps? What and where are we starting a search? I can start up a game right now and dig and dig and dig just like Tranzit but what am I digging for?
  3. For Der Eisendrachen I want a weapon that is a re-skinned Flamethrower. The skin will feature a Dragon-like body while the mussel is that of a dragon's head. The Flamethrower will feature a different kind of spraying mechanic that sprays fire and fireballs into the zombie horde. The reload will feature a dramatic animation of removing the dark stomach of the dragon design and then reloading by applying a fresh bright red stomach before the dragon flaps its wings out of approval and allows you to spray once more. The upgraded variant will feature the original Flamethrower discoloration. The bright red stomach will now be bright blue and the flames and the fireballs will now be a blue-ish color. The reload animation will always vary from the original and the upgraded version. The new version will take out the stomach and replace it but instead of the dragon just flapping its wings out of approval it will do both flapping its wings and howling a small burst of approval from its mouth. A small flame burst to let the player know that this gun is fuck-all kick-ass.
  4. Fear not, my fellow travelers. I was not discouraging an on-going hunt for the Apothican Servant upgrade. I am contesting the Code. We as a community should use what happens in-game as more of a piece of evidence rather than a line of code. Sure, I agree that the Apothican Servant has a weapon variant that is different from the original implying an upgrade is possible and was most likely involved in the making of the map. However, the contention that there is another Apothican Servant that needs to be built has been debunked even with two separate pieces of each Servant part. The other contention that we need a Cocoon to upgrade is never mentioned once in-game nor is it even a thought unless one were to examine the coding. The only possible relation to a cocoon that one could surmise is the Reporter talking about the fungus that grows around the city. This fungus could be any amount of things like moss to just oddly colored grass, the point is that unless you saw the cocoon in-game there is no evidence that you can acquire this in-game. Meaning, there must be an alternate way to upgrade the weapon without this blasted Cocoon. Not to mention our only lead still floats in Nero's room just waiting to be examine and tested upon. Then again, you all could be succumbing to the disease.... The T-Virus....(Tranzit-Virus)
  5. I don't want to burst anyone's bubble but it always must dawn upon us that the code is not always accurate. In the past, we have used the Mining Method to discover secrets contained within the map that are unable to be accessed in-game. For example, I bring to you the Tranzit Abyss. This abyss contains within it the most outrageous theories brought forth to explain the most inconsistent occurrences. No matter how outrageous these theories were becoming, people would still attempt to work out the nothingness that awaited them. Now, the code for Tranzit as I remember had some stuff that were not included. One was a mini-game reward upon completing the ToB Easter Egg that would activate as a race to the finish. This concept was rightfully scrapped. This is only one example of inaccurate coding. There's plenty more for other maps and possibly more for Tranzit but we mustn't rely on the coding. It is deceiving and could quite possibly throw us off. The main lead that we have for upgrading the Servant is someone's claim for Destroying The Statues. Obviously, the Cthulu statues cannot be destroyed by any means. A fully upgraded sword (Killing Shadow Man) does nothing. Margwas do nothing. Explosives do nothing (Haven't heard anything about the XM launcher). Whatever statues they claim to have destroyed, they weren't the Cthulu ones. Next, we have a contention that it may be possible to find another set of Apothican Servant pieces. Two sets of pieces can be found in-game outside of the map, one set for the original gun and another for the alleged "IDGUN2". However, one player was able to noclip out of the map in order to grab both sets of pieces only to find out that they both create the same gun. So, even with the two sets of pieces to confirm the possibility of two different Servants, this is not the case. Furthermore, the idea that there might be a stone left un-turned is doubtful. We are a very thorough breed of players that take pride in our hunt for the unknown. However, there hasn't been any clues, direct cues, or confirmed occurrences of anything new or anything different. Even our most elaborate theories have fallen short. The ONLY clue that we have and the ONLY legitimate lead that we could possibly have left in the arsenal of Shadows of Evil is Nero's room and his floating book. This single book continues to float well beyond its intended use and yet it is there beckoning us for some unknown purpose that may not even exist. This may not upgrade the Servant and it may not upgrade your Sword but it may just end the madness of looking for the light switch in a dark, damp room... Full of sweaty dudes... And they're all getting flustered and frustrated because no one can find the god damn lights!
  6. All of this "speculation" just reminds me of the Mainstream News Media when they ransacked the apartment of those two terrorists. "Well, this looks like some sort of calendar... -turns the page- Aaand it's just an ordinary calendar." or "As you can see, this trash bin is filled with shredded paper... Something that the F.B.I. must have considered unimportant..." I've just noticed a lot of overthinking and high-expectations. There was a lot in Tranzit that seemed out of place but was happily in-place. We just always assume that "Because it's Treyarch, it's convoluted." I don't believe it's always like that. I think Shadows of Evil was a very straight forward, narrow minded map. It had an Easter Egg that we solved, had some minor Upgrades and Visual Easter Eggs that we discovered. A free Mega gobble drop and the Richtofen picture that chases after your screen. Not to mention that useless Goddard Apparatus. This is usually the point when the well begins to dry up, but where there's a well there are dreamers.
  7. If the Iron Kite or Iron Dragon doesn't float or move around a skybox then I still have this small feeling that this is Ascension 2.0. With that rocket in the background and the snowy nature of the map, it just feels like Russia to me. All I can hope for is that instead of "Keepers" with hoods and Satanism, we'll have Skeleton Knights with swords and shields! Deaddites! It would be great, especially in a Castle like this! "Hey, She-bitch. Let's go."
  8. @The Clay Bird I just want to point out that the only reason this is so difficult is because we are literally sifting through darkness for something or nothing. It's beginning to look a lot like Tranzit, everywhere you go~ Luckily, there are more leads than there were Tranzit. Still, once this is all figured out, you can bet your bottom dollar that you'll be able to have your upgraded Servant by round 19!
  9. @Pinnaz Since this translation could also mean "Iron Kite" and I noticed a map for MP involving a moving ship with the actual map on the ship, is it at all possible to hypothesize that this map or maybe it's easter egg will take this castle into the clouds? Oh, I'd have an actual reason to listen to Iron Maiden's Empire in the Clouds again without being completely disappointed.
  10. What are the three alleged Eagle Heads that serve no purpose? 1. Building near Stamin-Up with a room for rent. 2. Dismount above a Construction Table in Footlight What's the third? I have an observation for the dismount at footlight... Consider the Easter Egg's last step... Is it at all possible to say that this specific Eagle Head is more for the strategy of avoiding the Margwas? I did the Easter Egg once and never will I endeavor again but that could be one purpose for a high up position with no way to walk to it.
  11. The best way I've found to complete this on solo is to acquire Danger Closest Gobble Gum and the Ray Gun. Use the Ray Gun to clear the zombies or, better yet, make crawlers. (Because killing the zombies will only make them respawn infinitively.) You have to activate the Keepers multiple times which means you will never catch Shadow Man on your first try at shooting him. You could if you're super fast and supremely lucky. However, I recommend you activate the Keepers, clear the zeds of their legs, then take out the first Margwa that spawns after the failed attempt to capture him. After you've defeated the Margwa, wait for the Shadow Man to be in resting position (He will not be raising the Summoning Key to incapacitate the Keepers). Once he is in resting position and your crawlers are snarling, activate the Keepers and do your best to avoid the crawlers and shoot him. Once he stops teleporting from side to side, he will be in the center next to the ritual table. At this point, you are going to want to hop over to the table while continuously laying into the Shadow Man, he will NOT go from side to side anymore after getting this close to the ritual table, if you give him one ounce of time to recoup he may return to his safe position and you may have to encounter a respawned zed and another Margwa. Fear not if you mess up and have to create another set of crawlers or destroy another Margwa, Shadow Man can only spawn in a Margwa if you fail to capture him. I recommend you not activate the Keepers more than once just so you only have one Margwa to deal with at a time. Some recommend you use the Apothican Servant in order to clear out zombies but the time it takes to shoot and load is time you could've spent shooting the Shadow Man while avoiding crawlers. Besides, once you capture him, everything in that room despawns. Well... I have never seen a Margwa despawn but I assume he disappears with the rest of the undead horde. Good luck and don't let the tentacle rape you on your way out.
  12. I'd rather think what they could possibly do? I mean, it's one thing to try and figure its purpose, it's another to figure out whether or not it matters. In my virgin eyes, I think since you have to be in beast mode to use it, it's pointless. All things important happen in Human form. Of course, the ending of the Easter Egg is the Ending of the Easter Egg so throwing you into the beast mode seemed right for the last step. However, I believe if there was any pinch of importance with these "Grapples" then there would be a clue as to their importance. A cue of some kind, not just me being glitched into the window in Footlight or me just falling back down to Stamin-Up. Stamin-Up's grapple, though, seems suspiciously placed because the building it's attached to has an open room upstairs. I love to make an ASS out of U and ME so it's quite possible to say that at some point during one's research on this map, the window to this room may open. Allowing the player to inquire within about the pricing for said room. Then again, if the price is too much, I'd rather just move to Canada and get stoned with my Trailer Park Boys. Only then, can I prevent the destruction of my world.
  13. That's an unrelated Easter Egg regarding a white gumball. You activate it by throwing Widow-nades into each Lion mouth and thus the Gobble Gum sound will play and your white gumball is waiting in its mouth. Its use is unknown. Actually, I just lied. I know its use. After you retrieve this white cum-stain, it relocates to the Ice Cream shop. There, I threw a ton of Widow-nades into the shop, all over the room and it suddenly grew into a huge disaster of a gumball. However, I picked it up and it granted me Phoenix Up... In solo... So I died. <TRUE STORY
  14. Here's something interesting: http://www.google.com/patents/US1102653
  15. I feel that Nero and Jessica's quotes were that of foreshadowing. They weren't directly saying that there's a lock of some sort, it was more than likely a reference to the Summoning Key. The Key itself is considered by Jackie V. as the Key to the City. Which could be true if the city is Hell. However, this "Lock" that they speak of must be of the Summoning Key. I say this because it seems that this "Key" is both a lock and a key. Simply because prior to introducing the Summoning Key to all our parts or "Representations", it unlocks that person that the piece represents. It reveals them. Almost like an exorcism, it exposes the demon within the object... Or possibly the angel? Also, The Giant has the torn pictures of the Summoning Device holding a weapon of some sort. Also, this device swallows the blood or possibly the souls of the representations of our ritual pieces, not to mention it also swallows the Shadow Man. Whatever the case, Jessica knows something about all of this. She knows something of the occult as all Entertainers do. At least mainstream entertainers in this day-and-age do. (Illuminati, Locust, Demi-urge) As for Nero, he has experience with the occult not directly but indireclty. As in, he has a special "Book" that may correlate to these "Happenings". The book could be The Necronomicon Ex-Mortis. It could be the Book of Souls, brought to you by Iron Maiden. It could even be the Comic Book that turns out to be a graphic novel. It could be the satanic incantations of this realm that bestowed onto Nero the desire to be a magician. There's still much we don't know about the characters and their relations with others. Some thing's are for certain, though. This "Lock" they speak of is not literal but metaphorical and leans more towards the locks that kept the Representations of our ritual pieces unexposed, Nero knows Nikolai in some fashion and is definitely related to the tentacle beasts thanks to what his posters say, and Jessica has or had a plan to be famous, whether or not her plan involved the occult is up to the player to decide. I personally believe that this Map is itself a metaphor for Hollywood and it's decrepit alleys that ring with misery and the possibility of a dark occult. If anything, anything at all, the quotes you hear from these characters are more for "Character Building" which Treyarch can do very well. What I mean is, when you start a game for the first time, your character to you is faceless personality-less, once you begin to do things and pick up objects and weapons, your character develops a type of personality. A personality that you discover as you play. Basically, at the end of the day, if all else fails, the quotes you hear are simply a way of describing the mischievous ways of Jessica. How, when she picks up a pen instead of thinking of the practical uses she thinks outside of the box and chooses to consider the other options. You could say, she's an outward thinker, a self-sustaining human that can survive on her own. It says a lot about her character and even more about her actions during the opening cut scene as she sensually reaches for the scissors...
  16. The idea that someone within the developers circle is manipulating that game to ensure that some people can't reach the pinnacle rounds is something of a 50/50 concern. On one hand, you could say that there is in fact a power trip occurring where they really want to stop the 100 rounds and above (Hence the zombies animation changes and patching of certain upgrade-ables) and yet on the other hand you could just have people that sincerely have a gripe with people who run in circles with an upgrade and can sling passed 40 or so rounds by doing so all for the sake of a leaderboard "Status". It is completely possible to say that these developers that revert "enhancements" that once made you strong are simply looking out for the quality of the game. As in, those of you who masterbate to your solo leaderboard rankings need to start masterbating when you reach high rounds with randoms. It truly is more of an accomplishment if you can achieve a solid round 40 without one player leaving out of anger or frustration. In my mind, the time of "One down; leave" should be passed considering the ranking system doesn't give two fucks about your downs! This was the "Nail in the coffin" for the dreaded "No mic? Rage quit". My reasoning behind this is the fact that you are rewarded for revives, and are rewarded for staying as long as you can. For me, the entertainment part of this "Game" is the act of succeeding or failing with others, not just by yourself. Of course, if you have a personal best that you want to rise above, no one can tell you otherwise. However, to have the Gorgon-desire to want to play until your father passes into his next life is absurd and at that point should be considered an addiction, less than entertainment. Back to the wonder weapon and the map itself, I think this map is Evil Dead meets Aliens meets CoDZ. The one thing that it needs to be a perfect map is Bruce Campbell. He should've been a character because the demonic possession and diddly-daddling in books of Satanism is right up his alley. Instead we have Jeff Goldblum, mister Jeff Golblu-man group himself. The choice of actors, choice of characteristics, choice of personality, choice of time-considerate wording makes this map all the more valuable. "I'm happily married... I've got a wife that complains about how much I drink, how much I smoke, how much I wanna fuck, I swear I've got an ulcer the size of Stanton-fucking Island." -Jackie V. These characters make up for Tranzit's confusing quarrel in any reality. The map itself and the Margwas are all aesthetics to make the map feel real. To bring true fear into you when you hear the spawning sounds of a Cerbertipus. "Three heads like Cerberus! Tentacles like an Octopus... OOOH.... CERBETIPUS!" Quotes like this in correlation with the map and the demons that haunt your every turn is what makes Shadows of Evil a genius return to something more or less different. The Margwas are no trouble for an experienced player, the rituals are easier than dusting off your collection of 80's thrash metal. Getting the pack-a-punch open is like having sex with a girl that you have no chance of having sex with, it's a miracle to the virgin eye. The fact that we have a purpose in upgrading twice is even more of a push to want to upgrade and complete the rituals. Of course in multiplayer, things get a little hairy. People pick up pieces and have no clue what to do with them. They die and drop the piece in a part of the map that is unheard of until round 15, when you have Jugg, the shield, and time enough to search for the poor sods item, and even then the troubles of actually completing the ritual on four player is much more difficult and time consuming endeavoring solo. Which is why you have to pick and choose your battles. Wisely choose the time to activate a ritual. The perfect time during a 4-player co-op session is during the "dog" round or "Manifestation" round. If this round is not easy for you then you must go solo until you have a grasp of the general concepts portrayed in the map. I digress, during this round, players should have weapons capable of at least the bare minimum of defense, allowing you or one other player to take as much time during this round to complete the ritual. As always, you can save a flying-fuck or a screaming-testicle before finishing the round in order to complete your ritual. Remember, the point of the game is to enjoy the fuck-ups and successes of your gameplay. If you want, I can compare the entertainment of this game to drugs. If you smoke a lot, and get high everyday, it's more than likely that you will get bored of the drug or your immune system will develop a tolerance to the drug making the drug obsolete. (At least until you get off the stuff for a week and hop back on it, boy is it better then.) For the game, if you win too much and are reluctant to suffer defeat in any case, you will become bored of the game and your dopamine count will drop considerably because you can ony let yourself win. In other words, "Sun Tzu said; If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle." Know yourself and love yourself but also allow yourself to suffer defeat in order to understand your enemy. Plus, it's just a game. Sun Tzu was actually talking about the Art of War, not the Art of Training.
  17. I honestly don't think you should beat yourself up at all! You made it to a very high round and you did it flawlessly! Now, I know you must be upset because you must have some type of goal you want to reach but it's just not worth being too beat up about. As for the wonder weapon and this "patch" you speak of (regarding the upgrade, right?), I'd just like to say that although the weapon has a low amount of ammo it still is a most flawless weapon that must be used wisely. Whenever I play, I always use my Widow-nades cooperatively with my Mar-Astagua. This allows for me to constantly restock on Widow-nades and destroy hordes flawlessly. With that being said, I sense that the problem is not the weapon itself or what it does but that the ammo is too low. I completely agree that sometimes the ammo runs out before I can properly restock with a Max of some sort. However, there is still hope. The possibility of this Wonder Weapon being upgrade-able is still prevalent and not yet lost in, what I'll call, the Tranzit Abyss. So, if all goes according to plan, by this time next year my Mar-Astagua will forever be named Mar-Astagua Arbgwaoth!
  18. This is a very comprehensive look at the general story prior to the events in Shadows of Evil. Good job writing it all out and making it look nice! If I may take what I have read and speculate... There's something about "Shadow Man" and "Mr. Rapt" because A: Shadow Man is either a follower of Cthulu/Demiurge or is a spawn of the Demiurge/Cthulu and B: Mr. Rapt sounds like a shortened Mr. Rapture. Considering that this Demiurge/Cthulu wants the Apocalypse in order to assimilate our reality with its own reality, I assume that Mr. Rapt and Shadow Man are one and the same. My evidence for this claim is in the intro cutscene wherein which "Shadow Man" dives into a rant about these four characters and their "misdeeds". However, "Shadow Man" never once explains the events prior to the characters' receiving their "curse" which leaves me to believe that my assumption is wrong. Also, there's a huge underground occult that must have, in some way, been accountable for what was happening in the city. Needless to say, corruption like Nero to Jessica is common in life and unfortunately is a staple for the Human Race so the corruption and regret were certainly not the cause of the Curse but, like "Shadow Man" had said, was instead a gateway for the curse to manifest. This would make sense if we split the two personas (Shadow Man and Mr. Rapt) and instead look at them as two separate individuals. Shadow Man as the manifestation of Cthulu/Demiurge and Mr. Rapt as one of the occult. In any Satanic or occultist ritual, you need something to sacrifice in order to appease your God. During one's playthrough of the map, you will be forced to sacrifice FOUR individuals that will account for FOUR inter-dimensional worms. These worms with the souls of the sacrificed in them are manipulated to assimilate our reality with the reality of evil. For some evil cults the goal is just that; to assimilate a reality of evil with the reality of our own in order to appease their God. This is actually connecting to a major conspiracy in modern times known as the Illuminati, but that's been mentioned in this game mode many times... But not to this magnitude... The question that lingers is whether or not Mr. Rapt was plotting in accordance with the occult in order to use the four sacrifices to the advantage of the Demiurge/Cthulu or was Mr. Rapt just a concerned citizen sticking his nose in random places with corruption, but then you'd have to wonder why he would hire a reporter to investigate Morg City if he himself could've done it. To say that Mr. Rapt isn't trying to do some shady business would be naive. This reporter Mr. Rapt hired was able to to gather info not only about the characters but about the townspeople and the strange occurrences within Morg City. Another question that lingers from here to eternity is WHEN? When did Mr. Rapt send in the reporter into Morg City and when did Mr. Rapt begin his harassment of these four characters? Also not to change the subject but to add a little more, considering the many signs that say "Missing City", I feel as if Morg City has been manipulated much like that of Alcatraz. Making Morg City a literal Missing City, as in a City that doesn't exist or quite possibly the distortion of its original self. I think we may be in for an interesting backstory surrounding "Shadow Man" and "Mr. Rapt" because at the end of our adventures in Morg City, our Summoning Key is taken someplace else WITH Mr. Man inside of it. I just hope we get some more pre-recorded messages on old phones or else this story is gonna be in a Stalemate. The only thing that's for certain is that Maxis is gonna fuck shit up. I feel it in my balls.
  19. I believe some things about the story are misconstrued because of the poor storytelling. However, it doesn't make your thesis wrong or right. It just means we paid a lot of money for a poor rendition of Zombies. Anyways, one thing that has bothered me is the voice in Die Rise. Although it's possible to say that there is an extra unexplained entity that is now caught in the actions of lower lifeforms and is communicating with Samuel, it could be the slow lucid state brought on by the Flesh that Samuel has eaten. It's clear that eating the flesh allows one to hear the voices of the "Otherworld" but it also causes many things to happen. Such as the slow inevitable change into a Deadite. A soldier of the dead. It's possible to say that the extra voice is Stuh's slow Decent into madness and transformation. However, I love the idea of the Otherworld and our so-called reality mixing. So, if this voice WAS an extra unexplained entity, it can't possibly be the ruler of Otherworld and it can't possibly want things to go back. If this voice is from Otherworld and if it is in fact the ruler than that would paint the image of the Demi-urge. Meaning it wants more low vibrational events to happen, more bloodshed, more misery and unhappiness, more suffering. According to Mr. Icke's painting of what the Demi-urge is, this entity craves the misery and sorrow of the human race. It is the energy source that helps it to be powerful and strong. Manipulating reality based on the overall fear and sadness of said reality. An example of this is explained nicely in Monsters Inc. Monsters scare kids for energy and the kids live in fear. So long as fear is in the kids, the door remains open. Once the kid is old enough to understand fear, the door is destroyed. Is it possible that Richtofen, like attracting a Vampire, invited the Demi-urge through our Dimensional Door? I mean, the Origins doorways were literally doors. It's possible to say that the Demi-urge came from Otherworld to bring with it the misery and sorrow of Otherworld. However, this explanation does not include variables such as the theoretical beginning of our story nor does it include anything to back up the claim. This is more of an observation and a connection to Real Life. Y'know. That thing that also has a lot of unanswered questions? :3
  20. In relation to Moon and Die Rise and "Time", is it possible for these events to have the same qualities but different variables? For example, is it not possible for Moon to take place in the 60's and Die Rise to take place in the late 90's, early 00's? Some will say, "Marlton is the key, he knows all the weapons." Well, he may know the weapons but that's because he has some type of military clearance, no? How else would we be able to hear him in Nuketown as an Easter Egg? Now, instead of connecting Nuketown and Tranzit, I would like to use Nuketown to explain Marlton in Tranzit. Obviously, if the story was made right, I believe it was supposed to be perceived like this: Marlton wasn't at Nuketown but was involved. Marlton could've been involved with the comic book's intro to the map. This would explain his knowledge of technology, not just weapons. Now, if one were to connect Marlton's existence in Nuketown with some type of journey to Tranzit, it can be explained simply. The F.B.I. or C.D.C. were there to retrieve Marlton who was hidden away in a bunker. Much like Left 4 Dead's "Death Toll" map featuring the Priest and his Churchbell, it's possible to say that Marlton wouldn't open the door until he was sure it was safe. In any case, by the end of a Nuketown playthrough one would be reasonably at the point of Richtofen's control. This means that Marlton didn't intentionally go to Tranzit, he was teleported by Richtofen. Obviously, Richtofen has no ability to teleport individuals until after the Tower of Babble but if you were to complete Maxis' side of the story for Tranzit than who's to say that it's Richtofen teleporting you to Die Rise in the first place? Now, the first thing to consider when looking into the time displacement when it comes to Moon, Die Rise, and Tranzit, is the real world. Obviously, there are a lot of references to real things. So, we should consider a lot of real dates so that we can put estimates on fictional game dates. According to Wikipedia's Green Run info, the times that our Green Run could've taken place are 1964 and 1949. As for both years, experiments were commenced. It's a reasonable date, 1964, for the setting of the map. Also, it is linear with the moon. The Great Leap Forward in China took place between 1958 and 1961 and was a Social and Economic leap. It's possible that China was unaffected by the rockets until the 90's meaning that our Great Leap Forward was not of a Social or Economic Leap but of time. Now, a quick search of Resolution 1295 lead me to a U.N. investigation of European and African corporations violating sanctions relating to Diamonds. The same Diamonds I saw on the machine in Buried. Now, the event in World History known as Resolution 1295 took place in the year 2000. Which means that we could've been in China during the year 2000 or the year 1999. The crazy thing about the assumption of all these time frames remains what we believe to be Moon's time line. It's possible for moon to have taken place in the 1960's... However, if World History is related to Treyarch Zombie history than we must connect the fact that when Apollo 11 landed in 1969 there was no Griffin Station. Therefore the station was built after the fact. No? Basically, if U.S. were the first to land on the moon according to story and world history, than that means the events on moon were happening after 1969 placing our characters somewhere between 1970 and 1990. The events in Tranzit could have taken place in 1949 or 1964 OR they didn't take place until after those dates of experiments. Possibly occurring between 1970 and 1990 alongside Moon's mysterious place in time. Die Rise and Buried must have take place between 1990 and 2000 simply because of their title's insinuations. All of this could be wrong but I like to connect World History with Fictional History just so I can tell my kids about the Real World while playing a Fake Game. Edit: As for Nacht not being in Germany, it is. Clearly stated it in the intro to the map. However, one thing that people forget is that this Nacht in Tranzit is referred to as "Prototype" so it's reasonable to say that Tranzit takes place after Richtofen shared the secrets of the Nazi Science. Operation Paperclip took place between 1949 and 1990. Placing Richtofen in the U.S. between 1949 and 1990. Therefore placing Tranzit's place in time between 1970 and 1990 along with Moon.
  21. Hah, I was one who always wanted there to be more to Ascension! It always FELT that way but that doesn't always mean it IS that way. Same with Tranzit, just because I dreamed of applying the ladder to the side of a mountain doesn't mean I was able to do it in-game. True story. What about the theories surrounding Kino and the "demonic" rooms. I just got done writing a winded "Headcanon" but somewhere in it I began thinking about who was at the theatre. Has anyone ever guessed that Maxis and Samantha were teleported there from Der Riese? Basically, we've been following Maxis since Der Riese. No? I mean, not since Der Riese but from Der Riese to Kino. Edit: Also is it possible that the room in the end-cutscene to origins is the same room you visit in Kino? AKA Samanthas room?
  22. Childhood Headcanon: A Look Back At How I interpreted the Zombies Story Line Before Visiting CoDZ.com WaW: As a child, it's hard to say the feelings that stirred in me as I learned from my cousin that a Ray Gun had existed in Nacht. Plus, after having spent most of my beginning play-throughs in the first room, I was surprised to hear about a Mystery Box and Open-able Doors or Debris. Nevertheless, the new-found knowledge made me and my cousins stronger as we learned the new camping strategies that would mold our play-style up until Black Ops. The story at this time was non-existant. At the least, we knew they were Nazis. So naturally, the conspiracy ship was the first to sail. Upon the release of Verruct, the story began itself as something twisted. Believed to be "the beginning" of some type of experimental onslaught, I couldn't understand what the story was leading to. The excitement was in the mystery, much like the box. The blood on the walls had many curiosities and told (apparently) many stories. None of which could've made any sense at the time. However, once Shi No Numa made it to the scene, the playing field was changed. Introducing new characters with bios and a map with the most savory wonder weapon in the history of Treyarch Zombies. Shi No Numa was thought to be the initial beginning of these new characters. I had always thought along with my colleagues (cousins) that the four different areas of Shi No Numa contain various jewels about our characters. The story now in my mind was still far out of grasp from understanding or comprehension. What was believed at the time was what the story is now. A simple curse of an ancient origin that later will be explained. Most likely by the Nazi. Finally, Der Riese came along and once again changed the game. This map truly identified with Richtofen as his map. He knew about the Monkey Bombs, the previous Wonderwaffe, and insinuated knowledge about the teleporters and power. For me, Richtofen at this point was running the show. He was essentially the leader of the troop. As magnificently placed radios were discovered, paw prints, writings, and various twisted imaged discovered, the story began to mold into the general idea that we have today. However, the curiosity surrounding the newly introduced Maxis and Samantha was leaving me in a state of want. Black Ops: Needless to say, Kino Der Toten was what I wanted so eagerly. Although I never got a chance to listen to the hidden radios, I was able to listen to the film reels. The story from this point forward along with the comic books exciting debut was becoming more clear as the maps were released. It was linear and had a conclusion. The canon story for Kino Der Toten, with the given evidence of the comic book and the film reels, was that someone of a Nazi background was experimenting in the theatre. The photos that were later discovered that are now today a topic of the shadow man, were of a curiosity but then again of a certainty. The nazi who lead the experiments in the theatre had knowledge of the four including the shadow faced picture. (As I recall the map and the story; is it possible it was Maxis? and the rooms you teleport to are just Samanthas room at different points in time? Possible to say that we followed Maxis from Der Riese? Did Samanthas room at the end of Origins look like a room from Kino?) Anyways, the story was beginning to pick up right off the bat. Now, I hadn't discovered Five until after Ascension and struck me as something of a Hidden Jewel. At the time the Map had almost no story other than the beginning cut scene. However, the map in itself explained a lot for future games. For example, if Five was in fact canon then it's possible to say that the U.S. was experimenting with the "Disease" and had bases around the states not just at the pentagon. This theory would explain all the events in Tranzit and any further events in the U.S. like Nuketown. I digress, Five was mysterious and chock full of things to be discovered and they were. Pictures of what we believed was Richtofen and the shadow figure. I must say that at the time my believed canon was that the shadow figure was Maxis but at this point story still needs 'splainin'. Ascension's rise (HOH) was inevitable. The "Story" Easter Egg made it a shoe-in for hardcore fans looking for answers. The beginning wasn't clear, the comic had secrets. We came flying into the map on a Lunar Lander... Awesome. However, after cumming to the ideas of a Lunar Landing intro, one must begin to wonder how we got to this point and how the color can just turn off with power. For me, it was a beginning that was as memorable as Nacht. Finding that first Teddy with his Sickle made it feel like there WAS a demon named Teddy. He was trying to get us! However even with a claim like that as a youngster I had to second guess my assumptions. As the Easter Egg hunt slowly carried on, the story was unraveling. Mysterious radios containing voices of people and persons who were never previously mentioned. New intel, new data, and new ideas about Samantha. For me, I would look up to the moon and feel that Samantha would get us. Honest to your God, as a youngster playing Ascension I feared the moon for no reason. I would look up, feel anxiety and look back down and continue my Thundergun train. Ahh... Trains... Now, the story at this point in terms of the map was that Samantha is some type of spirit and she is haunting Gersch. We free him, yadda yadda and she says come find me. I was always one of the ones that said there's more to Ascension because I honestly thought there was. My playthrough of the easter egg left orbs all over the map. At the time, I felt there was so much left but I was never introduced to Tranzit. Next was Call of the Dead. Such an enlightening map. The radios scattered all over the map featuring our Nazi fiend helped explain our four heroes beginnings. However, didn't explain the Shi No Numa beginning. In my head, I just thought that Nazis are fucked up and so is Richtofen. At least he wasn't involved with NASA. The story in CotD was clear as it was funny. Our Four Original heroes are trapped and now need help from outsiders with no experience. Although the helping and such was pointless, the meaty story piece was that Rod. OOH!! Zat long ROD! Wasn't really long, more of a devil's double-edged dildo. Anyways, were it came from was the most curious thing I ever wanted to know. Was it some type of extraterrestrials? Was it from that trippy looking monster with a green light outside the map? My childhood mind was on a train ride. Then, Shangri-La. What was once a conversation with friends regarding the Hallow Earth Theory has now become a topic of Zombies Story Discussion, a discussion that was now at this point being had on a world wide stage. It was hard to believe that Treyarch was getting away with so much in a gamemode that was now getting attention from all sixes. Illuminati references, conspiracy references, demonic references, and now Shangri-La. In my mind, it was my destiny to learn about the Illuminati and the world and the theories of Earth all because of this one Map. Shangri-La. The story at this point was clear and concise. Richtofen needs this, so do this. However, learning that Brock and Gay Gary were involved made the story that much more interesting. (Just for those who believe Shangri La is another planet, how is it possible that Brock and Gary, with the type of equipment they had, are space marines? Plus it is not mentioned anywhere besides a pyramid looking shit on the moon comic.) Our journey in saving Brock and Gary was both rewarding and frustrating. The conclusion to a complicated side story is complimented with a rush to get the meteor. All in all the story was now hinged on what we would do with these objects. Moon came to be as the finale for the story and was something of a reward for our hard work as Easter Egg hunters and story goers. A fantastic journey around the map featuring riddles, new perks, new abilities, new weapons, and new gravitational anomalies. It was confirmation that our Nazi fiend, Richtofen, and Project Paperclip had a correlation. The story in my mind was that Samantha and Maxis bad, Richtofen Guten! I still felt that way until Tranzit because of the way Maxis laughed when he blew up the Earth. The laugh was totally Super Villainous. With the story complete for this season, I was prepared for another round of Zombies come the next Treyarch title. Little did I know that the title would be Treyarch's first attempt at an overt Zombies mode instead of a covert mode. As in, Zombies had it's own picture on the back of the game. Black Ops 2: Hailed by the fans as "Bad" or "Completely Lacking", the zombies was just that. However, the story was on top once again with mystery and confusion. In my mind, I hailed Black Ops 2 Zombies as "Outrageously Creative" and "Different". I always loved things that stuck out from the norm so I felt in love with the way Black Ops 2 WAS going. Starting off in a Bus Depot with only the voice of Maxis screaming "FINISH THE DEVICE, FUCK!" is fantastically exhilarating. It's also exhausting. However, the story was that these four are divided. Marlton and Misty against Brock- I mean Russman and Stuh-notagermanlastname-linger. Maxis against Richtofen. The clear plans at the time related to the pylon but gave no real reward. No real confirmation of completion other than the achievement. Fans were disappointed. I was anticipating the next map. During the Tranzit "illusion" I would visit Black Ops 2's website in search for some closure in the Tranzit map. Someone to say, "It's all bullshit". However, all were lost in the illusion that there is more. Some still are lost. Next was the infamous Die Rise. It's name alone insinuates a type of racism that is only felt out of confusion. The map was difficult, unappealing, and very closed. It gave me a lot of claustrophobia. The PhD Easter Egg was funny but nonetheless a little too close to a middle finger. The story Easter Egg was just as much of a middle finger because of how unresponsive the egg was to its own triggers but nonetheless the canon in my mind was still the same. These four misfits are helping these two misfits and only one misfit will win. As Die Rise was out the story in my mind was in a place of worry. Worriment that this story would just be a linear no-good story that directs our characters to do the same thing three times but in different ways each time. Suddenly, that thought disappeared as Mob of the Dead was leaked. I got all wet from the thought of playing as Sal DeLuca the actor who I know best from Night at the Roxbury, the club Owner. The story was weird and obviously demonic and satanic and all the rest of it but most of all it was touching. To see that when you would go down, your character would have regret. As if those who made this map had to prove that they could tell a fantastic story, give the characters emotion, and still have fun mechanics all in one map. They had to pick up the slack from the previous maps. Anyways, the story was clear and we all know how it goes. It's story is all explained and laid out clearly. The conclusion is the player's decision to either let Weasel live or die. Which was presumably the foreshadowing to... Buried. The 'Almost Done' map that I thought needed a final conclusion. In terms of canon, for me Richtofen's victory is far superior to Maxis'. However, I believed that both endings could exist simultaneously just like two Nikolais may be able to exist in the same map simultaneously. However, these thoughts are left alone until... Black Ops 3. It was during Origins that began to visit CoDZ.com to hear the views of others. It was at the same time I began to read your views that I stopped visiting because it ruined the fun for me. Anyways, the canon story in my mind for Origins was that this was an alternate universe. An idea that I agreed with when some folks thought it up here. However, the ideas surrounding how the Alternate four get to alternate Der Riese can possible be explained by the Teleporter they enter at the end of Origins. Again, that is a conclusion that has been left up to Black Ops 3. So, as a child the fun was real and now the story is real... Really crazy. The zombies story line has brought focus to things that need focus and has brought light to subjects that need light. If the story doesn't make sense than so be it. So long as these subjects retain their light and focus is not strayed away from the overall message of corruption and secrecy that wholeheartedly exists in this day and age.
  23. The theories surrounding "DAY X /2 ME" may be a little over-bloated. Just recently, someone presented this and suddenly it hit me like lightning. Is it possible to say that the phrase "DAY X /2 ME" is not a calculation nor is it a mathematically related problem, but just a phrase that when contorted just enough will sound like "STAY NEXT TO ME" which is the overall arch in the map about staying close to the pylon. In short, "DAY X /2 ME" is nothing more than the Easter Egg Tower of Babble and the various hints that Treyarch claimed were in plain sight. They were, the community just bypassed all that bullshit in order to complete the Egg in a timely manner.
  24. This event had occurred on the bridge while doing the Pop Goes the Weasel easter egg. During the final moments of the easter egg, you're supposed to revive yourself from the electric chair and kill/be killed by Weasel. While flying through the air in afterlife, my partner and I decided to take a moment and relax. While sitting in afterlife infinitely, on the bridge, Brutus began to spawn. However, he would spawn, squat, then leave. It was outrageous. Spawn, squat, leave. Sooner or later, I began zapping him everytime he would spawn. He suddenly multiplied and two Brutus' began spawning, squating, and leaving. They eventually kept multiplying and growing larger in numbers. The explosion from all their spawning would blind you! Some would spawn, squat, and leave. Others would spawn, swing at the air, and leave. We eventually revived ourselves and, being Finn, I had to face this outrageous occurrence. I had the Blundergat upgraded with its cute little green add-on and tried my best to fend off a hoard of guards, a hoard of zombies, and my own anxiety attack. Needless to say, it's priceless. The question is, can it be repeated? It would be great if it could, as I would enjoy getting myself killed by them over and over. If you would like to see the video of this then you can visit my profile "DrVonstool" on xbox and under edited videos, it is labeled Brutus Slumber Party. If you're bored, I would give it a watch just to see how much fun I had.
  25. Here's another loose connection. Looser than your grandma's snatch. Thanks to the local community having an orgasm at the thought of unseen or undiscovered EE, I decided to play old maps for fun just to listen to what the characters say. Behold, my findings. Ascension was the map I played on and I was Richtofen, so I got to hear all the juicy quotes that made Richtofen so attractive. "Fit into a gumball machine" He says that the crawlers could fit into a gumball machine and that he could purchase them for a quarter. -wink wink- "my sister used to play with dolls/I would crush them!" I didn't know this one, he apparently has a sister and would crush her dolls frequently. Those two quotes were the ones that caught my attention, there was one more that I wrote down but I deleted the document. The song is what I will now, oh so, loosely connect to Nero. In Ascension's song, the lyrics say "Death is magic". I always liked to believe that as an artist myself, Treyarch would use real philosophical theories as well as conspiracy theories to connect an overarching message. With the mention of all the conspiracies in Tranzit, "Afterlife" in MotD, and general Illuminati concepts, it's fair to conclude that these people are looking into something that we should know. It just takes me back to CotD, when the ending cut-scene is George Romero talking about WWII. It could be possible that he was speaking on behalf of the Treyarch team. One could stumble upon some interesting things when making a video game about WWII, right? Anyways, "Death is Magic" could be talking about the theoretical "Astral Realm". The realm beyond death, in imagination. Marlton is quoted in saying "To any undeveloped mind, science is indistinguishable from magic." It's fair to say that Nero, in a false attempt to attain a higher control of "Magic" stumbled upon a dark science. Loose? Much like a 22 Acacia Avenue whore's wet-slab.
