  1. Wait...I musta missed this somewhere. Or did I? All you smart folk running circles 'round me. LOL! Where did this come from?
  2. All this talk on the site about drone attacks. Menendez apparently screwed some people up. The tweets are all here; even the 54. Wow. Still can't say I entirely like the way this is going. But it wil still absolutely annihilate AW.
  3. There is a protein known as CD98 that plays a roll in the blood/brain barrier.
  4. @LiamFTWinter What about the string of beeps preceding the first MIDI tone, as well as those towards the end? Did you count them up? Or did you calculate those differently from simply 'number of beeps?'
  5. Once again, contrasting the future idea, the hairstyles appear to be 30s'/40s'/50s'...
  6. Interesting. If you're on the right track, this (and it has always fascinated an baffled me) may be a huge chunk of intel: "Log Entry: 1471 Date: September 2nd, 1945 Dear diary, Another day, another failure. This time subject N3WB just slightly improved. The Russian subject still smells like urine. Even after he was given a bath and deloused twice. I think I might have killed the specimen from Mexico. His spleen is on the floor and he's not moving anymore. I can verify with certainty that the barrier is not located in the spleen. Dr. Maxis must continue no matter the cost. I wonder what he might think of the experiments on the little girl. (Edward laughs then a monkey screech is heard.) Nein (No in German)! Drop that! That's my spleen! Mine!" — Richtofen "Log Entry: 1475 Date: October 1st, 1945 Dear diary, (static) As for the control group tests, they have been put on hold. Recently I discovered that Doctor Maxis has not been mass producing the DG-2 as he swore he would. If he won't move those plans forward, then I won't continue following his dream of an undead army! He doesn't deserve his perch of power! He doesn't know what to do with it, but I know just what to do with him... and I'll take care of that little brat when I get the chance too..." — Richtofen
  7. On Snapchat? I lost my phone this weekend, so now I'm back on the outer circle too. heh
  8. Here's the audio file reversed: That seriously sounds almost identical to the bloop.
  9. Actually, something else. That sounds like The Bloop. Except The Bloop tones up, and the BO3 sound tones down.
  10. Not a big fan of the plot, 'cause I'm still hoping Mason will actually be a playable character; but otherwise, I really like this idea. Good thinking! *Brains for well-founded theory*
  11. That's the way it goes in our line of business. Looks great, guys. Keep it up!
  12. True, true. No offense. Just particularly in regards to the "nonhuman" part.
  13. We'll all be eating some humble pie over the next year, so just my opinion: I don't see them becoming non-human. The whole "villain controversially modifies humans" idea is very cliche, and while it seems obvious that there will be biomod technology, I think Treyarch's gonna play it subtly. Subtlety is their specialty; and they love to twist our minds. As Mark Lamia stated "we wanted to lean into the darkness and brutality of war; with rich story and characters that were angry and filled with vengeance, in...what we felt would be the grittiest World War 2 game in the franchise." I don't believe Treyarch has or ever will abandon that mindset. They have prioritized story and involved characters. We're all deeply attached to the people we've come to know through this story-Alex Mason, Frank Woods, Viktor Reznov, David Mason, on and on. You don't build hype for a game that won't bring those things we love back HEAVILY into play.
  14. Both of these comments cracked me up. So true. Treyarch hasn't really let us down yet...they've had this thought out for a long time. And these factors, regardless of how far we may be to the actual plot line, are MAJOR to the story. I've got a new idea brewing. They're up to more than we thought. This story is just getting started.
  15. Human augmentation at the neurological level, I'm thinking. He became a soviet super Manchurian Candidate.
  16. Where did that come from? I'm looking all over the place...
  17. Did anyone notice this in the news last week or so? Some sites are debunking it; I'm still in the middle of researching it. But all the same, it was interesting. We were talking nukes and volcanoes yesterday after Teaser #7, so potentially self-misleading. All the same, supposedly fresh from the "press" (whoever may be behind that...as someone said in chat yesterday "seeing is believing this time of year"), this is from Business Insider, who, as far as I know, is fairly reputable. http://www.businessinsider.com/russian-analyst-says-to-nuke-yellowstone-2015-4
  18. So this Salim was not yet an actual doctor during WWII, but more of a student, earning his doctorate post 1945? So between him, Hodaikko, and the 97th, we have three potential WWII leads, and a couple post ~1975 leads?
  19. @the_clay_bird Thanks, Clay! Really honoured to finally be an official member of the community! Been a blast so far.
  20. lol! Sounds good. Yeah, great link. I don't always agree with all their stuff but they're usually on top of it.
  21. Was there a reason that link to callofdutywiki was removed? If that's a forum rule breach, pardon me, I'm still a n00b here. Or did you delete it? @gfn21
  22. Once again, with the snowy area surrounding the house. The only thing I can think of is how Alex Mason lived in Alaska... Maybe Trollarch is just screwing with us They may not be screwing with us, though. That's a good point. That could be a giveaway. On the snap from earlier, with the wolf.... Upon loading up the mission "Project Nova" from Black Ops 1, before the text is blacked out it says that Resnov's last known alias was "The Wolf"... I don't know if this is a hint to check the mission, or that Resnov is alive, or what... but that's the only thing that makes sense to me. That whole snapchat served no purpose at 4 seconds long, unless there is something everyone is missing. A metaphor for Resnov fending off his enemies? Who knows Or maybe just for him hiding out. I've gotta check that out! Brilliant, dude! It's true, Reznov is that driving force; that motivational spirit behind WAW as well as BO1. What was the timeframe when Reznov rescued Alex and Woods, etc, from the desert in BO2?
