Did you ever get a team to finish Origins with? If not, it's still on my list as well....so maybe someday! C'est la vie. But I'm under the impression that one of three things actually happens: A. The characters are eventually overrun B. The characters survive, and though it isn't shown (because it is a game) the enemies are defeated after 'Apocalypse Averted." What they do afterwards is unknown. C. Apocalypse Averted, though it does not show in game, reverts the world to normal and places them back in the real world.

Sounds like a fun idea. I'd put it in the 'forum games' section, though, and maybe require that you cannot look up a silly quote, but instead have to remember one from a previous map off the top of your head without repeating one previously posted.

But a conduit for living energy seems to be a common them of its uses. No, I don't believe the focusing stone is necessary in this Uni. But I am open-minded in that regard.

There's actually an explanation for the Golden Rod. It can be found right beside the rocket, having fallen out after crash landing. I wrote an thread on it, because a lot of people tend to forget that the Golden Rod and the test subjects come from the same place.

Haha! I've been there! You take a screenshot? My recent 115 moment was the day I won UOTM in October, I think. Lenne gave me my 115th rep point and I reached Hellhound zombification rank. It was a good day. :D Hey, me neither. I was never a death metal fan (still ain't) so it was very strange how quickly I fell in love with every single zombies song. They're just so so epic. The lyrics are so deep. And of course, I love Elena's voice. But The One! So weird that you say so! I feel ya totally! It brought the game to a whole 'nother level of empathy.

That would be awesome! I had started a "CoDZ Canon Library," the idea of which was to compile all threads dedicated to absolute fact for the purpose of ease of access and rapid education opportunity. I love the idea of a larger-scale project, though. If I might recommend breaking into a few groups: 1. Canon Library ("The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But the Truth") 2. Story-Centric Legendary Theories (Legendary theories that are in-depth and invested, and/or have spawned detailed discussion directly pertaining to the story, the technology in the story, or the mythos in the story) 3. Outside the Box Legendary Theories (Such theories as pertain to non-zombies literature or information that may provide deeper insight into the where we may be going or certain aspects of the game that may have been inspired by other historical events, mythos, literature or media) Examples in order, below:

@Hells Warrrior We've got some good-sounding stuff in the works for YouTube, I think. Hopefully by next week I can get a sample video out for y'all to review and see if it may be the kinda stuff we want to do. @Tac @BlindBusDrivr, @MixMasterNut, @PINNAZ, @Rissole25 and I have been throwing ideas around, and I think we have the potential to be truly unique in such an over-saturated market.

There are years of great archives out here, with great discussions opening all the time, and more story-familiar folks are always a welcome addition. If you want fast tracks to storyline resources for reference or further studying purposes, feel free to ask! A number of us have been working hard lately to get as much archived and condensed as possible to make learning the story easy for new folks and referencing exact details easy for vets like yourself.
