  1. I'm seeing us getting caught in an emotional dilemma, much like they pulled on us in Black Ops 2 with Mike Harper, Admiral Briggs, and finally Raul Menendez. Will we need to make a choice between executing the remaining 3...or possibly 4, or keeping them alive?
  2. Good work, thank you! Definitely seeing a trend with Nero and the tentacles.
  3. Naw, the Mexican died before Dempsey ever arrived. No Richtofen says he thinks he killed him because he removed his spleen and he isn't moving. He could be alive for all we know, you can live without a spleen just lowers your immune system. This is true. He also does say that Dempsey was sent to replace the one that he "broke." Interesting...

  5. As always, an in-depth theory is appreciated. Well done, and thank y'all for sharing. I must differ on the Moon rockets idea, and therefore, the concept that 115 does not create zombies. For one, it is expressly stated in the Der Riese Datenbediensteter server that 115 is the catalyst for the reanimation of dead cells and therefore, animation of zombies. Secondly, the Die Rise radios confirm that the contaminant is airborne, and since there is little to no 115 on the surface of Earth, this would lead one to conclude that either the rockets contained 115 or that it was released with the opening of the rift (which would make more sense than 3 rockets containing enough concentrated 115 to cause a global pandemic.) This would explain the equipment we've seen for mining 115 and how, with the exception of the meteors, 115 is primarily obtained via mining, yet still only in minimal quantity.
  6. Thanks for confirming this, Nightmare. Well, there we have it. Oddly coincidental, however. @Kill_All_Monkeys IT WOULD APPEAR THAT HOLLYWOOD HAS DECEIVED US!
  7. Once again, great discussion, guys. @Kill_All_Monkeys Yeah, I don't stand by the Treyach emblem theory as of yet, but it doesn't seem wholly unlikely, based on their history of self-integration (Richtofen's references to "Treya-I mean, the Illuminati,'" as well as the Treyach emblems in Shangri-La and Origins. So yeah, no biggie. But on the other hand, it does support the linear-loop timeline suggestion, since it creates a loop out of the whole story as opposed to just in a single map. Whereas I do support the "time pocket" idea, (Der Riese clock stops, "compressed" time pocket created in which three events occur) I cannot say I believe it is an independent loop that must be broken, but I don't know how it ends...or whether it ever even did did for Sam, ergo: Original Timeline: Richtofen Teleports Maxis and Sam | Time Pocket Created ____________________________________|____________________________________ Maxis sent to cavern Samantha arrives at Griffin Station Richtofen Escapes to CotD/SSN ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Timeline Richtofen Teleports Maxis and Sam | Time Pocket Created ____________________________________|____________________________________ Maxis sent to cavern Samantha arrives at Griffin Station NO4 arrive at Der Riese, kill ORichtofen Richtofen would seem to have broken out of it, however, but time travelling out of it. I don't know how Samantha would have, though....
  8. I'm thinking it's more of a time loop. Think the Treyarch emblem. Left incline was WAW, top loop was Kino (first instance of time travel), the right decline is Kino-Buried, and the bottom right loopback the Maxis ending of Buried, making Origins the bottom segment, which brings us back, on the bottom-left loop, to WAW and (voila) Der Riese aka, The Giant. Just a thought.
  9. I like this. I think it's an important perspective to have going into BO3. Though, I believe it was @Kill_All_Monkeys made a point regarding where the next intersection of the timeline occurs, and that does cause a bit of a problem. NOTE: PER @Nightmare Voyager, THE FOLLOWING IS INVALID AND CONFIRMED UNRELATED TO ZOMBIES IN ANY WAY, FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. SEE NIGHTMARE'S RESPONSE BELOW (POST ID: 13) Now, I hate to even bring this up, 'cause as for me, I'm actually okay with his defection...but what's really interesting is Jimmy Zielinski. Maybe he didn't leave on such good terms with Treyarch after all...which is perhaps why he posted this: He, of course would have to have been very very careful to avoid getting smacked down by Activision, and to muddy the waters, could have thrown in the references to his other game. Which is probably why the illustrations stopped. There is, however, undeniably, a little girl in a dress holding a teddy bear, who seems to have abnormal capabilities. Regardless, his illustration here actually works with this theory well.
  10. I don't believe we'll see a zombies timeline, since the zombies story remains so very up in the air as it is. To give us hard and fast dates for things like CotD, Moon, Nuketown, Tranzit, Die Rise and Buried would really kinda wreck a lot, and that's half the story. In fact, I would be disappointed if they did. Unless it put the multiverse theory to bed once and for all...though I believe that will eventually happen, anyway.
  11. Good to see you getting back in the mix, MMX! Multidimensional, yes. By its very nature. Multiverse, however...there is not yet any evidence of such.
  12. There doesn't need to be lots of different universes, just the Aether and Agartha. Here, here. We have never heard of any others, and at no point in the past have we ever seen an instance of duplication that would indicate that a multiverse exists. Agartha and the Aether are fully capable of explaining everything that has occurred to date.
  13. ehh, i consider its appearence in COTD more fan service than being linked to the storyline, its just a powerup, you dont get it as a weapon. I did think I would agree...your initial statement makes a lot of sense. But still...maybe that's why he gives it away. It stays until you're outta ammo. I refer particularly to gaining the DG-2 after finishing the Easter Egg.
  14. I don't think that's an unreasonable suggestion. Though it does appear in CotD as if Richtofen trades it for the Golden Rod.
  15. Exactly. I 70% agree. lol! Only because I believe the Aether is more of a force-field than an actual "alternate reality." Thats true but we travel through the Aether when we teleport and we see people, places, and ideas when we travel in it. I think this could explain why we go to those random stops on Kino including getting a glimpse into Sam's mind when we see her room change with the "Giant Teddy" standing over everything. Just like we see a "hell" version of her room while traveling through it, I think we see a similar thing on MotD and Origins which seem like two specific versions of hell for Weasel and Maxis. Hm...did you see my thesis on the Nature of the Aether? It's pretty long-winded, and I'm only putting the link here because I cannot provide a concise explanation for what I mean by "force field," and have no intention of promoting my own post. http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/index.php?/topic/179908-the-nature-of-the-aether/#comment-1736657
  16. Exactly. I 70% agree. lol! Only because I believe the Aether is more of a force-field than an actual "alternate reality." But yeah-Treyarch's always been about mind fuckery. Alternate universes are so easily explained, it's boring. You just make up a new one every time you wanna change something.
  17. This follows him declaring that he will be able to make it to Agartha. He had already determined that he would do so. When he returned to 1918, it would seem he lost his post-Buried memories, and utilized the fact that Samantha hadn't to make his way to Agartha.
  18. Hahaha! Now I feel like a jerk. Excuse my legalism.
  19. @Kill_All_Monkeys Haha! It truly is. Y'know...something like that passed through my mind, but it was so overrun by the previous stuff that I didn't bother to think about it further. lol! Now - I do want to point out that they are not actually omnipotent. Working on another thesis about their restrictions and their powers, which will delve deeper into that, but yeah, sort of...hm...might say "high-availability" consciousness. lol! Been working with too much network infrastructure equipment this week.
  20. And always amazing how very little we seem to know despite all our knowledge. We've got a forum containing over 30,000 posts and we're still debating something like...what happened after Moon? lol! We need to up our game! Haha! Kidding. But yes, @Kill_All_Monkeys definitely a/the million-dollar question right now. It was just very much assumed through BO2, and I don't recall whether Maxis even makes mention of it during Big Bang. Was that added on during BO2? A sort of afterthought? Well, after being ousted from the MPD, she was technically removed from the Aether; but like you said, maybe it was due to her previous exposure to the Aether that sent her to Agartha after her death. That, however, would not be consistent with Richtofen's fate after being ousted from the MPD, unless he was simply stuck inside zombies for eternity (as it would seem) and held there, prevented, due to Maxis repeatedly reviving him, from entering Agartha. So...perhaps... Richtofen ousts Samantha, essentially casting her out, careless of where she ends up (kind of typical of Richtofen), and when she dies, she enters Agartha because Richtofen did not have the foresight to keep her stuck in a cycle, prolonging her misery and keeping her stuck in the terrestrial timeline, instead, she is allowed to die, and escapes. When Maxis ousts Richtofen on the other hand, he very deliberately deposits him in a zombie, repeatedly doing so, preventing Richtofen from joining Samantha in Agartha. When Maxis (being the Aethereal controller) however effects the return to Origins, prepares a scenario in which he can return to the physical world (with the help of Richtofen and the quadrotor), he interrupts Richtofen's cycle, blocking his elder self from entering Agartha, instead, entering himself first (end of Origins) to be followed by young Richtofen and the others. On second thought, perhaps one must have spent time as an Aethereal controller, but must be a living physical being with self-control in order to get to Agartha, which would mean that the MPD may be a control center for the Aether, but a dead end in terms of getting to other dimensions. So based on that, Samantha may never have died on Moon, and instead, escaped to Agartha. The others, however, would still have an uncertain fate. But the only consistent precedent is this: the two individuals who successfully reached Agartha: Had, at one point, controlled from the MPD Left the MPD (Samantha replaced, Maxis 'abdicated,' in a way, but was also forced back into his own body by the re-vitalization of his preserved brain) Had independent, self-controlled motor skills (Samantha in Richtofen's body, Maxis as a quad rotor) Richtofen, however, is missing the third trait. One hole in the above that I can think of is that it is unknown what Samantha had to do to get to Agartha, but it sure took a hell of a lot of work to get Maxis there. GAH, this is my least favorite part. lol That was so much BS I can't believe it came from me. Rip it to shreds, guys, I know how messy it is. Just hoping my ramblings might make sense of what is currently a huge discrepancy...or simply a massive unknown.

If I might tack on a suggestion amongst @GRILL's: Some may want to define the number of players desired. Obviously, it's usually x4, but there are occasions in which a limit may be desired. Do we know how/when a post will expire and no longer be a result (avoidance of stagnant and outdated posts)? I ask because I figgered this has already been considered. If so, no answer is necessarily expected.

After spending 2 hours trying to get a good team for a casual Moon game last night, I gave up and played solo. I can't wait to see this come to fruition. Way cool.
  23. @PINNAZ @Nightmare Voyager I think we're overlooking a major MAJOR factor. I don't wanna talk about it here yet 'cause I don't wanna release a half-baked idea (in addition to fact that I have 6 or 7 more of my long-winded theses pending) but I really need to brainstorm about it with some well-informed peeps like y'all.
  24. Its a Moon radio, just google black ops moon radios and the transcripts on wikia should be there. I was listening and reading them while I wrote my message :P Okay, I'll take a listen. I pretty much have them memorized, but sometimes perspective changes everything. lol @PINNAZ I gotta agree with you on everything up until stating that Maxis sends the O4 to Agartha. Maxis has been the Aethereal controller since the victory at Resolution 1295 He Opts to return to 1918, where he loses knowledge of what happened in the future, but is guided by Samantha's cross-dimensional voice, the gateway is successfully opened, he passes through to Agartha along with the 4. Maxis and the 4 learn about the future from Samantha, who has been in Agartha since Moon (how she got there is still unknown, as last we checked, she was fighting for her life alongside Dempsey, Nickolai, and Takeo.) The 4 pass back through the gateway and return to 1945. Peter would still be dead, chronologically, however, as Richtofen "tricked" him while the test subjects were still in beta. As cool as it would be to meet him, it does not seem possible. Groph and Schuster are still alive, however.
  25. She had no influence over Maxis. As far as we know, she was powerless. Maxis wants to open the gateway, himself. Why would Samantha need to influence him to do what he already wanted to do?
