  1. Hey guys, it's Marky and today I'll be doing a breakdown of the Call of The Dead Easter Egg song. This will be the font for repeated verses. Gone, cast away in time Evil yours, now evil mine So I robbed you blind The voices in my head suggest a less than peaceful side The original four; Tank, Richtofen, Nikolai and Takeo have been 'cast away' in time due to the teleporter in Ascension malfunctioning, possibly by Richtofen's hand as he wanted to get the Golden Rod. The evil that has plagued the O4 (zombies) is now a threat to the celebrities. Richtofen gave them the Wunderwaffe for the Golden Rod, an item that is more useful and meaningful than the Wunderwaffe since the celebrities will die anyway. In-game audio quotes have revealed that Richtofen had developed schizophrenia at some point, gaining conflicting voices in his head. --------- The endless possibilities Controlling 9-3-5. Achieving his goal will grant Richtofen endless possibilities in what he can do. The aforementioned point can tie in again, he wants to control Group 935 with his power. ---------- You can't break me Crush the fears of yesterday You can't save me Barriers of trust will fade. This is the O4 saying the zombies won't make them give up. They need to forget about the previous horrors they've faced even though they suspect no-one will be able to save them from the undead. The last line in the verse refers to Tank, Nikolai and Takeo starting to remember Richtofen from when they fought the undead for the first time with him in Originsand remembering what he's done, leading to mistrust. ----------- I've stood in the dark Been waiting all this time While we damn the dead I'm trying to survive I'm not ready to die The O4 excluding Richtofen (let's just call them the O3 for now) don't know about Richtofen's plan and have been waiting for him to reveal it. I assume 'damning the dead' refers to them destroying the zombies and feeding their souls to whoever's in control, which by now they've figured out. They've figured out what killing the zombies means and see this as damning the tortured souls to hell but they must kill to survive. The last line is pretty much self-explanatory and applies to all the characters in zombies. (Mobsters, O4, Celebrities and N4) ----------- Damned, watch the masses fall Burn it down, control 'em all (Help me) Make me crawl To daddy's little girl I'll read the writings on the wall The O4 have been damned to kill zombies over and over until they complete their current objective and thus have seen massive hordes of zombies fall. The second line I assume is spoken from Richtofen's view, he wants to burn down anything in his way and when it's all over and done with, he wants to control everything. The third line is spoken from the O3's point of view, they want someone to help them before the zombies finally kill them and they fall for the last time. The last line mentions writing on the wall, this may refer to when members of the O4 read inscriptions or comment on things they find, this is witnessed by Samantha Maxis who is in Agartha and the Aether for the most of the zombies saga. ------- While cast into the nothingness Their final curtain call The C4 (celebrity four) are going to be cast into the icy nothingness of Siberia's sea when they finally die, their final curtain call indeed. -------- You can't break me Crush the fears of yesterday You can't save me, Barriers of trust will fade. I've stood in the dark Been waiting all this time While we damn the dead I'm trying to survive, I'm not ready to die ---------------- [Guitar solo] Through the madness we find Loyalty is no match for power Say goodbye to your life, Left to rot in your darkest hour Prayers won't help you now As long as you're mine Our heroes, new and old alike must find their way through the madness but in the end, the person with the most powerful guns will most likely abandon the rest of his or her fellows to save their own skin. The characters should say goodbye to their life and accept that in the end, they will all end up as zombies. Prayers to God won't stay Samantha/Richtofen/Maxis/Ancient Evil's hand as long as the characters have not completed their current objective. [Guitar solo] You can't break me Crush the fears of yesterday You can't save me Barriers of trust will fade. I've stood in the dark Been waiting all this time While we damn the dead I'm trying to survive I'll control the world One person at a time As I damn the dead I'm trying to survive I'm not ready to die! Oh! I'm not ready to die! I'm not ready to die! I'm not ready to die! I'm not ready to die! Ready to die! Ready to die! Ready to die! Not ready to die! Repetition is an excellent thing ---------------- So, this was my first real try at a proper theory on this forum, expect me to be around a bit more! Feel free to leave feedback below, everything's appreciated.
  2. For CoD 2015 I'd like it if they made like BO1 and put an extra unlockable zombies map in there once you beat the campaign. Another nice thing would be more customization in how you can play maps. For example, preset map options like no wonder weapons, a points cap, amount of times the box can be hit before it teleports away, fluctuating amount of zombies per round, what special zombies spawn and what rounds they spawn, things like that. Just my two cents. Also, I've never seen anyone get to round 100 on CoTD, the fog makes it hard to see, George makes a formidable challenge especially if you hit him and you're not in the right spot to calm him down, high probability of getting trapped in the close-quarter buildings and the lack of any worthwhile Wonder Weapons (yes I'm counting the Scavenger, I don't think snipers and zombies mix) the VR-11 isn't the best Wonder Weapon either, overall it just makes for a bad mix and sticky situations all around. Onto my next point, I believe they should make like Origins and include four Wonder Weapons that everyone gets a chance of using, a YouTuber (forgot the channel) brought it up and I have a firm belief in this, if they do this it means one guy won't be tanking through the rounds with his Thunder Gun-esque WW, leaving the others with Ray Guns and HAMRs (just an example) as opposed to each person wielding their own Staff or whatever and everyone can have fun. I agree with Ragdo when he/she (sorry) says that the majority of BO2 maps take a long time to get set up on, I think this should be mostly discontinued in the new game. Honestly, I can get set up on Origins and MoTD but when I'm set up and I've got an upgraded Ice Staff, a Pack-A-Punched MK2 and a SLDG-HAMR, all the perks and then BAM. One death and that two hours I spent setting up is rendered worthless. As I bleed out as the other two people I'm playing with are enjoying themselves, I stare at the screen and question said two hours I spent setting up. So, for the next game they should include maps that are either more simple, i.e. get to the Box, build points, get perks, Pack-A-Punch, train and then mix it in with maps that take a little longer to set up.
  3. I think we can chalk it down to Satan, or whatever you call the purgatory they're in.
  4. I'd say some parts of the map are easier than others. For example, the side quests to get the Hell's Retriever/Golden Spork can be frustrating but then you can get 3 free Quick Revives with the afterlife mechanic. Brutus is hard when he starts spawning in multiple times but the good weapons make up for it. I'd say for everything Mob has that's easy, there's something hard and vice versa.
  5. I thought this was gonna be another BS theory but the map idea was actually pretty good. Cudos to you for thinking this up.
  6. Definitely not character related. If you saw green sparks, then congratulations, you discovered a new Perma-Perk. Now, the question is how we can replicate the effects. What perks/items did you have, e.g. Turbine, Turret, Quick Revive, Double Tap, etc. Afterthoughts; I'm gonna call BS on this story unless you've got video/record proof.
  7. I didn't like this map at all. Even taking Der Riese and other similar PaP layouts into consideration, this one was absolutely inexcusable, too many things can go wrong with it. The Denizens.... I think they took the size, speed and overall nuisance of the space monkeys and reskinned it, minus the perk stealing ability. At least you could bloody see the damn monkeys, unlike the Denizens in which the fog is EVERYWHERE and you can't see a meter in front of you. The Avagadro is just so annoying. I've only ever personally encountered him once, that was enough. Especially in tight areas like the farm gate or if he spawns in front of the bus, he's too hard to maneuver around and you're very likely to die straight away if you don't have the knuckles. Since he can't be killed with normal guns, that made it just unfair, especially if you haven't got the knuckles yet. Oh the Jet Gun.... Just. No. I have no idea what Treyarch was thinking when they added this to Tranzit, but I think it was appropriate. A crappy gun for a crappy map. I'm starting to think Tranzit was put there so the story presented in Die Rise and Buried wouldn't look as weird. Eh, just my two cents.
  8. Rule L33T: ALWAYS use at least a week to look for the major Easter Egg in Kino, even though two years of gameplay have proved it doesn't exist.
