WARNING Potential glitch ahead: Stopping the Margwa
TimelordAlex replied to shirtlesservice's topic in Shadows of Evil
well the tranzit cut off maps, i detest as they were literally cut and paste. I liked Cell block and borough as they had a degree of customization to them like the addition of PHD and removal of jugg on Cell block. But yeah for SoE you could have Map 1: Easy street/Junction, stairs to rift Map 2: waterfront district, teleport access to rift etc This really would take no time at all, they'd be just deleting parts of the map, adding a few things in, different perks, putting WW in box, allowing PaP from start, then saving as 'Canal District'. -

I support this, if they made additional survival maps out of SoE, they could've been setup like what you stated. Really hope in DLC 1, the map has survival maps within, and SoE is updated to include survival maps too, it wouldnt be too difficult for them to do. -

Yeah i find it incredibly annoying in co-op where the margwas spawn in on one player, i think their system should've been like the panzers (same rounds they appear on, same numbers) -

The pop shock gobble gum, if you knife a margwa with that active, after a few seconds all the margwa heads electrocute and he dies instantly. I find this to be used with zombies rather ineffective so i stock them up, get them in the high rounds for SoE and the margwas are easy as you can get them as soon as they spawn in, not sure whether its a glitch or intentional but i'll be pissed if they patch this as well, there is more game breaking stuff to fix. -

I agree at the one time only thing, in my opinion if everyone in the match has the achievement for doing all rituals, then PaP is already unlocked and you dont have to do them every game (they're not hard to do, no, just annoying and tedious to do each game). This was my slight gripe with Exo Zombies Descent, if you played it, you HAVE to do the Oz boss rounds EVERY game and this kinda ruined a lovely map. If the game checked to see if everyone had the achievement, you should not be forced to do it every game. I agree with you on Margwas too, they're not actually hard to kill, they just come to fuck you over in the area you're in, forcing you to leave, and the btw a PaPed Haymaker works like a dream on them more than the ray gun, on my 50 solo run i was running that and the WW - back when it was PaPable. I really hope the DLC maps are more survival based with the EE only as a sidequest and not a requirement, as i cannot see myself playing SoE for some time, friends arent on all the time, and randoms arent smart enough to work out the map. -

But they didnt need to make a step for it, theres enough unnecessary things to do as is, they should've just left that alone and let us PaP the gun as any other so we can then just play for fun and high rounds, but no we have to waste even more time with EE steps just to upgrade a gun - which we will all do, as much like the staffs, the weapons are not really helpful till upgraded. -

You can take out Margwas instantly with pop shocks so there not a huge deal. I'm still annoyed we cant yet PaP the WW, it does not need some complicated ass step, it should be PaPable from the get go like all other WWs have been. As chopper said, the fun is lost, where stupid EE steps are required for anything to be done this is why i play the giant much more than SoE. -
What special weapon do you want to see?
TimelordAlex replied to Stop Mocking Me0's topic in Der Eisendrache
Well either way, the special weapons are not really that powerful or useful anyway tbh -

^Winters Howl return please. For samanthas curse, i'm pretty sure its still present, and i wont be picking up a special weapon again till i see in a patch note it has been resolved. -
I'm sure PS content came out on Thursdays no? I'm not gonna judge the map based of 1 small blurry image. I'm not against Hijacked necessarily, i've had good games on there, but the fact that its taking up an ordinary map spot and its so small, feels kinda cheap to me - and i'd personally see some other BO1 maps be re-made and not Summit, Nuketown or Firing Range. In fact i'd be happy with the maps coming back as they are but looking better and they have the simulation idea that was used for the WW2 castle map

Until they fix this samantha curse glitch i have no interest in special weapons, and i'd also like to see them get a buff or at least be upgradable - i dont think much of the swords, they're very buggy, and the annihilator is nothing special. I would like to see the death machine power up return, it was in DOA2 so im perplexed it wasnt in the main maps -
I think the fact that they've revealed it now might suggest that it will not only be coming early 2016, but early January too, perhaps January 7th (PS content comes on Thursdays I believe) and if thats correct, it would arrive on Xbone/PC on February 9th (i'd love the 2nd so i could play it on my birthday but oh well). We might even get a trailer for it in a few weeks. I'd be genuinely surprised if last gen get any DLC, that fact that they have been denied Nuketown and The giant makes me think so.

I remember that fake EE of unlocking the Winters Howl on Ascension :L As i understand it Ascension was supposed to feature the T-Gun, Wunderwaffe and Winters Howl but they were cut due to map limits or memory issues or something. As for the map being rushed, perhaps they learnt their lesson of when Die rise first came out for 360... Oh well either way this time PS4 are the beta testers.

As i recalled SP owners did not get the BO2 micro transactions, you'd have to pay extra for them like everyone else, and i sure as hell dont want to have to pay extra for zombie maps, especially if they're old maps - as that would be taking the piss, paying out of the season pass for an old map we already own. I fully support an old map coming back remastered monthly or something for free though.
-
I got such a Battlefront vibe from this lol, BO3 does have more base game content than Battlefront does for sure.
-
I'm perplexed to why they'd announce this so early, especially when Xbone/PC players have to wait till February at least. I'm also disappointed there is only 1 zombie map, they've been hyping Zombies up so much now and its become so big I just don't think 1 map is acceptable now. I kinda expected 4 new MP maps, 1 re-made MP Map, 1 new Zombie map and 1 re-made zombie map. And yeah this basically means BO3 Zombies will have 6 maps, and really The giant is a re-make so its not exactly as special of a map, and DOA2 is not really a proper map imo and the fact that its still not been added to the zombies menu makes me think ATVI/3arc dont care much for it either, and Nightmares is just the campaign re-skinned more or less and nothing that special. Even if Mod tools do see the light of day, thats a PC exclusive thing. If they cut the DLC maps up - assuming they're big and make survival maps out of them which is what they should've done with SoE then i maybe more acceptable of them.

On the catwalk you have the gap from where you can drop off, when at the right angle you can run and jump through the gap and end up on the outside edge of the 'box cage', the zombies cannot hit you and all horde up in the corner of the box location
-
I know i dont understand it, the only thing i like about it is if i need a quick break i can go there

well there is no space to train on Die rise, but on tranzit you can train on each area where Whos Who would be more suited. I recommend a funny 7 part series on YT, which is 100 ways to die on Die rise, a lot of it is funny basic death, but quite a few are pathetic bugs that were on the map - and still to this day exist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhyGzK6T93w

MOTD as a map i love, but i play Cell block more than MOTD as perks are already one, PaP is accessible easier, i would love cell block survival
-
People said they didnt like whos who as it gave them an extra down - which mattered in BO2, but imo, it was die rise that gave them the extra down.

Agreed @DeathBringerZen. The Moon EE was perfect, fun to do, not too hard but took some working out, wasnt a necessity to do and you could PaP a gun without doing it, but there was a worthwhile reward at the end of it, it was an EE i could do every game and wouldnt bother me. All the BO2 EEs were disappointing though, tedious to do, at some points you had to do them to progress and there was nothing at the end of it, SoE has followed this as well and i'm not fond of it, especially as it makes the map not playable with randoms.

I too got into the Zombies in the BO1 era, started playing it where my bro already had Ascension, so i gave Ascension, Kino, DOA and FIVE all a go, I realized why DOA was crap and didnt touch that again. I thought Kino/Ascension were ok, but what really got me was FIVE, man the awesomeness of that map, and the thief stealing my guns, had so much fun on that map, more than the others, hence it became one of my favourite maps. I was then hooked into Zombies and kept an eye out for any future DLCs, i then bought Escalation, Annihilation and Rezurrection.

A lot of people hate whos who but i dont get why, the perk itself was a good idea, but the map it was put on was shit for it, should've switched with TS on Tranzit

the slide to get down to the first box spawn/M16 was not really fixed, they just slowed you down which made it even easier to go down, i did die a lot more when it was faster, but making it slower did not fix the issue. The main issue i had with Die Rise is you were forced to use the slide and elevators to get round the map, there was no other option, at least in Tranzit - the bus was not a necessity and tbh i hardly use it anyway, just teleported and run around.
