I'm so hyped there are only three chapters and an epilogue to go. This grand voyage is almost completed (which will make me either print out the entire script or buy it may you have gotten a deal with a publicher and it be sold online. I feel so bad for Schuster now, I imagine he was able to isolate himself on Griffin Station all those years merely because he knew his friend Edward would count on him and he tought he was doing the right thing, but this all seems to be for nothing now. In prior chapters it appeared already that Richtofen had become a real jerk, and alongside Maxis and the whole Griffin Station crew it seems everybody is immersed in a grim, bittered, state. We all know where this story will end... (Oh and loved that sentence of Sam about Russian friends, I got that!)

@NaBrZHunter so there have been Raygun blueprints in BO4: On the blueprint of the Mark II it is said that this second generation weapon runs on the same microwave technology as the Mark I, but with better focussing in creating a more effective burst of plasma energy. Therefore, I won’t treat the Mark II separately, as it is basically the same weapon but in a different model. The first time we learned something about the technology of the Ray Gun was in the vbush files of Black Ops I, where it was said that “powered by Element 115, Ray Gun works on microwave technology and discharges a burst of green plasma energy between 220 and 230V”. Fans already theorized that it is powered by a combination of Element 115 and Cold Fusion Technology, creating "Cold Cell Batteries" to be inserted into the gun as ammunition, as we can actually see these batteries in-game. This is fully confirmed by the Ray Gun blueprints, as one of them states that the technology runs on ‘Dv115 + LENR’. Dv115 stands for Divinium115, whilst LENR stands for Low-Energy-Nuclear-Reactions, or Cold Fusion. What’s the science behind this? Nuclear fission is what happens in nuclear plants, splitting an atom into two. Nuclear fusion is the opposite, blasting two atoms together to create one, but humanity hasn’t mastered this yet and it is merely known to happen in very hot stars and suns. Contrary to this ‘normal nuclear fusion’ that occurs at extreme heath, LENR is a nuclear fission that hypothetically takes place at normal room temperature. Since the 1920s, there has been speculation that this may be possible at much lower temperatures by catalytically fusing hydrogen absorbed in a metal catalyst. In case of the Ray Gun, it looks like Group 935 achieved it by using Div115 as the metal catalyst in an electrolytic cell (these are the Cold Cell batteries). This is an example of a regular electrolytic cell. In case of the Ray Gun, there runs an electric potential of 220V on the grid, and Div115 is the medium within the battery. Electrolysis cells can be either open cell or closed cell. In open cell systems, the electrolysis products, which are gaseous, are allowed to leave the cell. I think something similar with plasma occurs in the Ray Gun, with a plasmalized material blasting out of the weapon’s barrel. So it is not 115, but another chemical compound that is fired, exactly like you mentioned in this thread. In case it is Xenon, why the red colour when Pack-a-Punched? Not to mention is that Meh once said that Xenon-525 is a rumoured compound supposedly used in Die Glocke experiments. Relevant?

What is considered "High Rounds" on this forum?
anonymous replied to TheBSZombie's topic in General Zombies Discussion
I'm lucky if I reach 30, so I'd say 51 definately is pretty high -
Real digger work, Pinnaz, nicely done! Could it also be D. Jano on the CotD 'Vril map'?
-
W00t! Really good one on that Wagner part, was actually quite emotionally for me. Also @Boom115I dunno if you keep an eye on this project or wanna read it once it's finished, but you turned into an easter egg in this chapter

HELL YEAH I got something to read again tonight!

Congratulations, you are now ready to go to the final bossfight arena. Stand with all four on the blue symbol in the Kino projector room and you will be teleported to the arena. You will now need to play a game of Simon Says (you know, that memory game). Go to the opposite side of the boss room and interact with the book on the pedestal, but before doing so it is advised to get familiar with this new area first. Be wary: zombies will spawn. Once interacted with it, the book will open and browse through four pages, one at a time, showing an order of four Apothicon symbols. Remember this sequence of the symbols because you need to press these in the right order later on. Now move to the other side of the room, the upstairs part, and wait for the symbols to appear one by one. The symbol will change every 3 seconds or so. When the correct symbol for your sequence appears, interact with it. It will now turn yellow. Wait again for the next correct symbol to appear and interact again. Repeat this until you have interacted with all four of the symbols in the sequence shown by the book. After succeeding in this, a bright flash can be seen and a power-up will be dropped. Now, four phases matching with the Runes of Creation will commence: Fire, Darkness, Lightning and Light. Kill all Margwa's (and possibly other monsters) to proceed to the next phase. If this doesn't work, interact with the Book again after you killed all the Apothicons. The Fire phase will ignite the arena in red flames. During this phase, the floor sets alight, lava appears and Furies and Fire Margwas will spawn. Stay away from the fire and lava, otherwise you might burn to death. The Darkness phase will spawn Margwa's and rain electricity from above, buzzing around in the room. The electricity gives a little damage but don't worry too much about it. Try to avoid it, but keep in mind that electricity is less worse than a Margwa slash. The Lightning phase will have walls appearing from the ground. Try to avoid them, because otherwise you'll die. Also try to avoid the ledges of the map, because sometimes you will glitch out of the map if you get too close to the ledge. Kill all Apothicons to proceed to the next phase. The Light phase is the last one: Antigravity is activated and white round spotlights will shine in the room. You must stand within these spotlights, otherwise you'll get hurt. Once you completed the fourth phase, the Summoning Key will fall down in the middle of the room. Pick it up and you will be teleported back to Kino der Toten, now carrying the Summoning Key.

The four empty slots on the right side of the HUD inventory are for the secret "Runes of Creation". These four runes relate to each of the ethereal elements - fire, darkness, light and electricity. Initially, these four slots appear empty: It is your job to find each one of them. So after grabbing a Gateworm, go anywhere in the map outside the Apothicon's stomach, until you will hear a sonar beep. This beeping intensifies the closer you are to a Rune. When at maximum intensity press square to place the Gateworm and dig up the Rune from the ground. You will now have a Rune in your inventory. Now go to the Kino projector room (upstairs), where you will find a blue glowing symbol on the floor, and go stand inside this symbol. After this, repeat previous steps: Find an Egg, hatch it into a Gateworm, find a Rune and stand on the blue symbol. Once you've found the last Rune, it is recommended to read the next step before stepping in the blue symbol, as this will teleport you to the bossfight arena.

For the next step there is, sadly, not much direction we can provide. Basically, Apothicon eggs, orange in colour, will spawn on the map equal to the number of players in the match. It seems as though these eggs spawn in completely random at one of the following locations: - Der Eisendrache, Primis statues room - Der Eisendrache, near Wunderfizz on the way to Kino - Origins, underneath the dig site, opposite the KN-44 wall gun - Origins, to the left of the Wunderfizz - Shangri-la, bottom of the stairs near fire - Shangri-la, near Stamin-Up on a broken pillar - Verruckt, upstairs above speed cola, in corner - Verruckt, near jump pad to Mob of the Dead - Verruckt, between the test tubes from Zetsubou no Shima - Kino, opposite the stage near the bowie knife - Kino, down the right side of the seating area leading away from Der Eisendrache - Spawn, near jump pad leading to Shangri-La - Spawn, near jump pad leading to Origins - Mob of the Dead, facing away from Corruption Engine, near the cell blocks Once you've located an egg, you need to pick it up and deliver it to the Apothicon Elder God, place them on the stations in the green pool of stomach acid. You must now kill around 20 zombies around the Egg, until it hatches into a Gateworm. You can now pick it up and the Gateworm will appear in your inventory. Move on to the next step, but keep in mind, you will have to return to this step later again.

All players must stand in the teleporter, sending you to Samantha's bedroom. . On the edge of her bed is the Kronorium, which needs to be picked up. After picking up the book, the player(s) will be teleported back to the map. Arriving back in Kino der Toten, place the Kronorium on the podium, causing it to send one or multiple balls of energy into the projector room.

Congratulations, you have now rezurrected Sophia! At least, sort of. She is now a transparant spirit of her robot shape encountered in the map Gorod Krovi, and now floats above the Nacht der Untoten section (do you follow?). In order to materialize her and bring her back to life, the player has to use the turrets at the four Corruption Engines to shoot four floating bright 115 rocks. In the Verrückt section, left of the portal: In the House section, left of the portal: In the Der Eisendrache section, left of the portal: In the Mob of the Dead section, left of the portal: After shooting the four rocks, the player has to go back to Nacht der Untoten and interact with Sophia's spirit in order to materialize her. Now being a physical robot, you must follow her. She will first go through the portal going to Der Eisendrache, from where she floats to the Kino der Toten section where she will reach the teleporter on the stage. She then starts powering it up.

The time has come to collect the third and final Audio Reel. For this step you need a Pack-a-Punched weapon and the Apothicon Servant (the "Squid gun"), obtainable via the Magic Box. There are six human bone parts scattered across the map. For each of the parts, the player needs to detach the bones with by shooting it with a Pack-a-Punched gun, and then absorb them by quickly shooting it with the Apothicon Servant. The locations of the bones are the following: In the Verrückt section, on the left side of the Corruption Engine while facing it, above a big rock. In Nacht der Untoten, at the roof of the bunker, above the portal leading to the Der Eisendrache area. In the Spawnroom, when standing on the Corruption Engine platform, look inside the church, above or around a candle. In the Shangri-La section, above Stamin-Up machine. In the Origins section, behind the VMP wallbuy, outside the map. The last one is a little difficult and be sure you've mastered the antigravity in Der Eisendrache well enough. Head to the Der Eisendrache section and wait till the antigravity activates. The bones are located on a wall, only seen when doing the wall-run outside the map. This 'wall-run' area can be accessed by jumping on top of this hole in the wall, via which you can jump on the next wall, entering an area of floating walls out the map's bounderies. Make sure you remain running on the wall and don't fall off, otherwise you will die. The bones are on the lower end of the fourth floating wall. Best way to hit them is to use an automatic rifle an just spray bullets at this piece of wall. Once all the bones have been absorbed, go to the top level of Nacht der Untoten where you will find the human bones in one pile on the floor. You need to shoot them with the Apothicon Servant, absorbing them and spitting out a female corpse, which is Sophia's. Now shoot this corpse with the Apothicon Servant once again, leaving behind an Audio Reel. This can be placed in a recording device on top of the excavation mound in Origins. Doing so will play the last audio file, and you can move on the the next step.
-
Once the first Audio Reel has been put in the recording device in Nacht der Untoten, it is time to collect the second one. For this step you must have the Li'l Arnies (the "Squid Bomb") that is only obtainable via the Magic Box. After this you should go inside the Apothicon Elder God, the belly of the beast that also houses the Pack-a-Punch machine. Inside the beast, there are nine holes that zombies can spawn out of. You need to throw the Li'l Arnies in each of the holes. As the maximum ammunition of the Li'l Arnies is merely 3, the player needs multiple Max Ammo power-up drops to replenish their Li'l Arnies. Warning: Every three holes that have been 'filled' with a Li'l Arnies will spawn a Margwa, so it may become cozy in there! Once the Arnies have been thrown into those nine holes and all the Margwas have been defeated, another Audio Reel will spawn next to a skeleton in the "upstairs" area of the belly. Pick up this Audio Reel and head for the Kino der Toten area. On the right side of the theatre stage, behind the wall of decor, you will find another recording device. Put the Audio Reel in the recording device and another recording of Sophia will start playing.

And in the darkest night
If my memory serves me right
I'll never turn back time
Forgetting all but not the time

As said before, after igniting the Tombstones, a triangular stone has spawned on one of the jumppads scattered across the map. You must locate this stone, and subsequently summon a Keeper Protector and lead him to this stone. Once arrived, it will start a ritual that takes about three minutes. Protect the Keeper while performing the ritual, as zombies will only attack him and not the player. During a parasite round however, parasites will only attack the player but not the Keeper. So it is advised to keep one parasite alive until the ritual is completed to make this step easier. Once the Keeper is finished, it will drop an audio reel. This can be picked up and must be taken to Nacht der Untoten, where one finds a recording device on the upper floor, on top of a crate. Place the audio reel in the device by interacting with it, and an audio file recorded by Sophia will play.

Once the Tombstones have been ignited, a triangular stone will spawn on either of the eight jumppads scattered across the maps. But to continue the Easter Egg, the player has to summon the Keeper Protector first. Building it requires three parts: The Keeper Skull: This can be found in the Verrückt section of the map. - Either on a shelf next to Speed Cola. - Or in a wheelchair next to the Electro-Shock Defense. - Or in another wheelchair adjacent from a Wunderfizz location. The Keeper Flag: This object can be found in the Mob of the Dead/Origins section of the map. - Either in Mob, to the right of Mule Kick. - Or on top of the Excavation Mound in Origins. - Or in a sandbag on the dirtfield behind the possible Magic Box location. The Crystal: This purple crystal can be found in the Kino der Toten/Der Eisendrache section of the map. - Either near the jumppad leading to Verrückt outside Kino. - Or in a basket near the Primis statue in Der Eisendrache, close to the potential Magic Box location. - Or next to the antigravity pyramid in Der Eisendrache. Once all three components are collected, a Summoning Altar can be crafted at one of the four Unfinished Altar sites scattered around the map. There is one in Der Eisendrache, one in Kino der Toten, one in Origins and one in Verrückt. Once built, the Summoning Altar can be used to summon a Keeper Protector for 5000 points.

NOTE: This Easter Egg can be done in Solo. It can be done with or without having completed all previous Easter Eggs in Black Ops III, and you will be rewarded with the achievement "For the Good of All". In case you completed the other Easter Eggs as well, you will also receive the achievement "A Better Tomorrow". Let's get started... In the spawnroom, upon looking to the direction of the Sheiva wallbuy, one can see two elevated islands carrying two tombstones each. Two tombstones are visible when looking from the alley leading to the launchpad going to the Origins area, and two others are visible when looking from the alley directly on the right of the House, behind the Sheiva wallbuy. Inscribed on the tombstones are the names of Primis. The player must shoot the tombstones in the order in which the Ultimis souls were collected in the previous maps: Edward Richtofen, Tank Dempsey, Takeo Masaki and lastly, Nikolai Belinski. In case the names are not clearly visible, the order is the following: The most right tombstone on the island closest to the House. (This is Richtofen's grave) The most left tombstone on the island closest to the launchpad leading to Origins. (This is Dempsey's grave) The most left tombstone on the island closest to the House. (This is Takeo's grave) The most right tombstone on the island closest to the launchpad leading to Origins. (This is Nikolai's grave) Upon completing this step properly, all four tombstones will ignite a small, red flame, confirming that you can move on to the next step.

You know, ever since Peter's first chapter you knew this would happen. You knew he would get caught and the marines would be send to extract him, fruitless. I must admit I sorta looked up against these chapters, and when reading them they were even more gruesome than I imagined. I think you really did a good job on sketching the grim atmosphere: First at Peter's hopelessness and later and the fatal fight of the marines as the clash upon the undead hordes in Verrückt. Also, loved how the Verrückt trailer quotes and scenes were in it, like those trailers are filmed scenes from this book. That Brothers.exe file did it for me, though. Upon reading it, knowing what just happened to Peter and Dempsey and knowing what will happen to them in the future....damn. You see, this book is written for zombie fans, folks who already know the story. Each and every chapter you knew to surprise me as a reader, keeping it so enjoyful and well-written and introducing so many new things. It is perfectly canon but yet a whole new story, if you get what I mean, and that is the magic of the Storybook. But these two chapters are gruesome, because we already know what will happen. And so it will for other readers.

Yep, Richkiller is right, but welcome to the forums buddy! Good to see you around!

Entry 17, Study #099 I fear that time is running out. Though my understanding of the ethereal realm remains limited, I am convinced that the manipulation of the energy fields within all matter is vital to uncovering the dimensional gateway itself. It is my sincerest hope that somewhere in the realm beyond, my beloved Samantha still lives. I can only pray that Edward's insatiable lust for power does not prove catastrophic.

I've completed the aircraft's schematics, using only components that I know can be found within the grounds. However, everything hinges on gaining the trust and help of some of the facility's most notorious residents. They may make fun of me sometimes, but they know I can do anything if I set my mind to it. I've planned enough jobs for them in the past to know that I can convince them to join me as Icarus takes flight. Speaking of Icarus, same old story. The Editor defaced my art, scrawling nasty little comments on every page. When I get out, I'll show him how wrong he is...
