I wanted to buy CotD this eve, but you made me doubt again. Whats the reason why you like Ascension more and what does it have what other maps dont have? Or perhaps I just have to buy them both... And that story about Takeo and the monkey ?

Just realized that the zombies in SoE have the same eye colour as the ones in The Giant and Der Eisendrache. Not yellow like the ones which are controlled by Samatha or Maxis, or red like the ones from MotD, but orange. Does this mean that the controller from SoE is the same as the one from the TG/DE universe?

I did some more research on the maps and I think I first buy CotD. (ascension maybe later. Uhm I got a question and I dont know where to post it but I will say it here: What has Takeo to do with monkeys? When you get a monkey homb from the box Dempsey says something about Takeo, and when Richthofen talks about Takeos portrait in Kino, he says something about Takeo.

Do you think this map is better then CotD? Im still not sure which one of these two Im gonna buy.

I see what you are trying to say: Its both asian and in a tropical jungle. But I dont think this is done by purpose, just coincidence. However, it is good remarked, I didnt saw those connections.

Thanks for responding, I dont mean the Americans build this MTD themselves, but stole it from German 935 bases, and used the technology for making the Five teleporters. The stolen German one is the one we see behind that barrier. However, I dont agree about the characters who lived a normal further life. Castro still lived a few years ago in real life, but when you look to the zombie universe, the world is destroyed since the '90's because of the events of Moon and Castro probably died. Anyway, what you say could be just as right as what I say, it are both nothing more but theories, and Im pretty sure Treyarch will never make a sequel on this map/story, so we will never know the truth.

Russia is 2/3 Siberia. In the west of Russia, youve got European Russia, then you got the Ural Mountains, and then you have Asian Russia: Siberia.

Havent thought of this yet, however Shangri La lays in the hymalayas, while that island (if thats gonna be the next DLC) lays in Micronesia. For Americans and Europeans, this may lay close to each other, but believe me, this is even further then from Canada to Africa. If the thirth DLC will be Stalingrad, then it could match with CotD or Ascension, since this is both in Russia.

Perhaps there was something in the MPD before her. When Richthofen replaced Samantha in the Moon Pyramid Device, you could see Samanthas soal going out of it. Maybe, when Samantha went into the MPD, you could see an other thing leaving it, but no one knows. Only Samantha is witness of that event.

Who ever it was, it's probably dead now, since the moon (with MPD) is destroyed. I am curious if we will know who this demonic announcer was, and who it will be in the next map, or maybe the same.

Good question, but no one knows an answer for sure. Some think its Maxis, some think its Samantha, and some think it is something else, something ancient and evil.... Yellow eyes normal means Samantha or Maxis, but in Origins, the zombies have also yellow eyes and there, it is inpossible for Samantha or Maxis to be in the MPD
