A well thought out but obvious publicity stunt

First let me start out by saying I am thoroughly enjoying this cold war style cryptology that treyarch has going on here its one of the best ones that ive seen for sure. That being said I would bet that all this intrigue is going to amount to the discovery of the new zombie mode for Treyarch's new game. The trick is to think beyond the scope of the clues and apply a real world motivation for this science fiction. Why would they have released this info to a zombie fan site? judging by the ratio of people who got thumb drives to the number of people who recieved the live drop I am assuming that the first 3-5 people to crack the cypher got the cases. In order for this stunt to work they had to find people with the skills to crack 30 year old encriptions to ensure the kickoff to there plan. Now that the seeds of mystery have been started by an entity separate of the company it does add to the excitement of it all. But what would Treyarchs motivation be? That is the real question, we can be sure that they would make a new zombie mode due to its overwhelming popularity and cult following. This is exactly the kind of dark mystery needed to surround the macabre environment of the previous zombie story but adding a much more indepth story line to the franchise which personally i would find amazing. Just my conspiracy theory anyway. Now what I wonder is if this is related to the gamestop poster stunt ( I believe they may be separate and the gamestop promotion deals with a coop beta that treyarch has hinted at in a recent issue of game informer) anyway any thoughts???
