Is buying the prestige edition for Black Ops worth it?

I was thinking about buying the prestige edition for Black Ops so I was looking at the description for the RC-XD that comes with the prestige edition and then I noticed something interesting that might change my mind of getting it.

In the red box it says the range can go up to 200 feet. I say to myself "ok this sounds like it can go really far" but then I realized that 200 feet is only about 67 yards so if I drove the RC-XD up a football field it would not even work if I go barely more than halfway. I know this isn't a REAL RC-XD but still even if i try to go up my street it would just stop working and be a waste a extra $70.

So what do you guys think? I honestly don't think I'm not gonna get the prestige edition anymore because if I can't even drive it around my block without it failing then I'm not gonna get it.

$70 isn't a very high price for an rc car w/ camera and mic. the transmitting for the camera and sound may be the issue with range tho.

those who know a thing or 2 about rc vehicles speak up!

i dont kno much about RC's but.. a quick google search would probably yeild a way to increase the range of a the antenna with the use of a 'range booster'.. ive heard them for WiFi to the concept shud apply to rc's too..

I'd skip it an just get the Hardened, like me. The RC car might seem cool and maybe a good price compared to other RC cars, but think to yourself. Do you really want to spend $70 for a toy car you probably won't play with?

Ya you make a good point plus the Hardened Edition is only 20 bucks more so I will probably just get that.
