Amazon Preorder

The more and more i think about changing my BO preorder the Amazon, the more confused i get. They are notorious for delivering product early, MW2 was shipped the saturday before launch, so it came on monday. Will they do the same for BO?

OR should i stick to a midnight release at GS?

I am getting mine from gamestop because if you have an xbox you will also get a cool suit for your avatar for free if you buy it. It also garentees that you will get it on November the nineth

Well, I have never actually pre-ordered a game from Amazon, but most big companies (I preorder from GAME.co.uk) send the games out 2-3 days for the release date, so you are sure to get in on release, but most of the time you do get it one day early.

Gamestop or another vg store. You don't want to get banned from live. If I got the game I couldn't be able to resist playing it. I got super mario galaxy 5 days early, but that game is not online.

Id just go play splitscreen off line with a friend Plus west coasters can technically play at 9 without getting in trouble cuz thats when its released east coast :D

I pre ordered Fifa 10 off Amazon and it took 20-25 days after release date to get here!

Sometimes if you go to the store a day early and you have it pre ordered they'll give you your copy early

I don't know. I know in the UK, well in Nothern Ireland it happens all the time. I got MW2 two days early but was told not to go online.

Just so you all know, it's fine to go on the game however early you get it. Aslong as its a genuine retail copy you can't get banned at all, and thats been confirmed many times.

Yep, I played MW2 a couple of days before the official release, HMV delivered early.

It just so happened that I was off school "sick" that week... ;)

Probably is fine, the guy in the shop told me it was fine to play just don't go online because it may look like an illegal copy or whatever

agreed my GS is SUPER strict. especially about release dates.. but my friend payed a guy at blockbuster an extra 10 bucks and got MW2 like 4 or 5 days early.. so if you have any stores like that go for it ;)

My buddy used to be a key holder at GS and hooked me up with the new 360 the day before it came out, but he works there no longer :(

Im gonnna pre-order my copy of the hardened edition at amazon. I did the same with red dead redemption the day before it released and picked release day delivery and and came on release day.
