What is so addicting?

So a few eeks ago i sold my MW2 for a copy of WAW and some MS Points. now i hardly touch my xbox. i decide to borrow my brothers copy and ... the disc becomes unreadable! he got a new one. and now i am lucky because i will install the good disc to my hard drive and ue the bad one when i want to play the game. does anybody know what is so addicting about the game? i cant figure it out! i think it is the fun of playing with your friends and making others rage quit, and we all know that feeling when you stop boosters.\

what do you guys think is so addicting about the game?

they put heroin in it! when your xbox runs the cd it injects heroin into the air and it makes you addicted!

if you play with friends it's addicting if alone. then not thats what i think

I wonder what it is. You get pissed off at all the usual crap that happens and then you start playing again the next day. or sometimes even just hours after rage quitting + whatever else you do

Its easy, Subliminal Messaging. When you play the game, infinity ward created it so it would send inaudible messages to your subconscious, thus creating this "Addiction" your asking about. Its not really an Addiction as much as mind control. :shock:

Well its impossible to tell, considering they're inaudible to humans. But I'm sure they would play out something like: "You love this game even though it sucks" and "Don't quit just because this game is horrible" over and over again. And probably something along the lines: "Buy our ridiculously overpriced maps that won't be any good".

Subliminal messages aren't usually complex, the simpler the better infact, and if the subconscious "Hears" these messages enough, eventually the person begins to believe that it is true, and it is their own opinion.

I think its because its the newest cod. I have no idea how you guys can still play this game i try but i rage quit pretty fast.... What sucks is i got hardened edition and i cant get hardened for Black ops :(
