Cosmic Silver back?

right guys, you know of the cosmic silver bvack that spawns in dead ops, i was woundering

have any`of you guys killed it? any stratiges for it and is there a seceret achevment?

I've tried killing it, (2 player online) and by the looks of it, the bullets didn't even touch it. (I have a really old, tiny TV so I could be wrong) But it looked like it had a little force field around it or something. Shot at it for about a minute before it ran off the level.

Me and three other people tried shooting it too death. It didn't work. It looks like you have to get to the last round to kill it. You get some kind of achievement for beating it.

There is no achievement related to beating it. Maybe a Gamerpic or an avatar award! :o

Good question, im gonna work on Dead Ops tomorrow, i tried killing it but im guessing the red circles that keep spawning like sonar around it is indeed a force field or a shield something like that.

you can only kill the Silverback when his shield isn't on.

No; you can only kill the Cosmic Silverback by making it to level 40 and actually fighting him in the ending BOSS BATTLE. Though the game just restarts from the first level and gets harder once you beat him. I think you get an achievement/trophy for it though. Can't remember.

Nah there isn't a trophy/achievement for it. Although Kudos for whoever beats him. Got to round 39 once, and i was so set to kill him, then i wasn't paying attention and died....epic fail.

Dead Ops Arcade is awesome. I actually think im going to try and break my solo record. It would be awesome to make it to a second boss fight.

Just out of curiosity, after you defeat the Cosmic Silver back and you're sent back to the beginning, is it possible to fight the Silver back AGAIN?

Yes, it is. In case you haven't seen any videos of the Silverback boss fight, when you finish the round a second Cosmic Silverback appears ("The Cosmic Silverback has many brothers.") and punches you back to the first island which is now miraculously about 100 metres away (why not just swim -.-').

So if you can fight it again, what happens if you somehow manage to defeat it several more times? Would it just keep putting you back to the start, or maybe after defeating a few of the Silverback's brothers, would something new maybe happen? Is it possible, or would it be too hard without a mod or cheat or something.
