Circle Item Found in Kino?

Im able to pick up this sort of wheel with in the intermediate rooms from being teleported back to the lobby...

It adds an Icon infront of the grenade count on the lower right, the icon looks like a sort of wheel or the mechanism in a revolver.

Typical place I find it is in Samanthas Bedroom on her bed..

What does it do?!

It sounds like one of the film reels. Try putting it into the projector in the PaP room.

We found two reels... played them both in the projector room.

But being In the projector room makes it impossible to actually see or hear..

Next time we're going to get crawlers then use it..

Any idea as to what they are for?
