New radio transmission in Shi no Numa (Black OPS version)

There are 3 radios hidden across the map that when activated create static like the 3 radios in the spawn room. There's 1 in the comm room in the easter egg room to the right of the phone past the door on the shelf. Another one in the storage room to the right of when you walk in and its on a box. The last one im pretty sure is in the FIshing hut right before you walk in, on a cart is a machine thing, and under it are 2 radios, hold X on both just in case. You wont hear it start up, but it does. It plays in the main house in the spawn room.

I just realized... we overlooked this... I don't have the hardened edition, so I tried this on W@W, and it worked... we are stupid, aren't we?

how is that possible when there was no thought of teleporters....or was there :shock: ..... it just seems weird that that was there and we just flat out missed it. I would check for this but i really dont last long on SNN :lol: That level 21 on the bottom was honestly lucky :D

Is there any chance that it was a small tiny update to the old maps while everyone was focused on BlackOps?

There's no way of really telling. I Stopped playing W@W when BO came out. Just checked and no update, but they dont really need one these days.

I have a feeling that it was inserted right before BO came out just because that mightve given a backstory to why they were in Kino. There is no way that this was there since like May of 09 and we just flat out missed it.

Was it that really small 360 exclusive patch that came out a few weeks ago? Someone posted about it, but nothing apparent had changed, so everyone thought it was nothing. Can anyone confirm it works on both systems? World at War hasn't been patched on the PS3 for months...

I have not yet checked WaW to see if the radios are there or not, but here is a bit of a condolence

at 4:37 he shows the 115 box - thats where one of the new radios is located (correct me if I'm wrong there...) and in the video, it's not there. So no, we haven't just missed it, it's just been added.

How the flip could this have been missed?

Did PC people not look through the files and see it?

We need someone who hasn't connected their xbox online in months to check this!

Has to be patched in. It makes sense with your post, NZheadshot1. There's no way we overlooked it. We're CoDz. We examine every brick, wall, window, piece of trash in extreme detail. I refuse to believe we didn't see this!

*Hoping we didn't overlook it* Anyway, that's why we need to look at the old maps

This really isn't a problem of us missing something, it's the fact that Treyarch slid the patch in right under our noses and we never noticed. We have to be more careful to make sure we don't miss stuff like this anymore...

I've looked over and over again in W@W in the places where you said the radios were, and have yet to find the radios in Storage and Comm Room, and the Fishing Hut radio doesn't activate.

I think that radio is them travelling from Der Riese to Kino...

That's what the KINO loading screen suggests anyway :D

i tried to activate the message today and couldn't. I got the radios in the storage hut and the comm room (shelf to right of phone desk) to make the same static as the ones in the start room. I could not activate the ones by the fishing hut. for clarification, it's one of the two on the cart outside the door, underneath the crank, right? there was another one i noticed in the fishing hut, but it didn't make any static when the action button was pressed.
