Hacker Pro/Sentry glitch

Well the other day I got Hacker Pro and saw an enemy sentry gun I could use as my own. But after i hacked it, it started to shoot at my teammate, but couldnt kill him. I then decided to walk in front of my hacked sentry only to have it kill me -.- Has this happened to anyone else?

hasnt happend to me i wonder maybe it takes a few seconds for it to fully become your or maybe its like a carepackge if they try to pick it up it expolds

After the sentry had been hacked my Teams symbol was above the sentry and had been shooting at my team mate for at least 30 seconds so I dont think it normally takes a while to register as your own.

what's supposed when you hack a turret is that it shuts off (like when someone knifes it from behind) for about 3 or 5 seconds, then act as if it was your turret from the start and kill some enemies for you (or aircraft for SAM turrets)

What happened to you was definitely a bug/glitch that i think could happen due to lag (on your screen, you hack the turret normally, then back away as soon as it's done. But with lag, in the actual game, you never finished hacking it so it's still acts like it's the other teams.) When you hack it, pay attention to whether it shuts off for a second or not. If it does, it's yours.

I was paying attention. You have to be looking at the sentry in order to hack it so i definitely saw it shut down then power up again with my Teams symbol on top and it was no longer shown as red. It was probably just a rare glitch.
