heres what patch 1.04 gave to black ops users, which was reasled on 14/12/10 10am GMT, 12/14/10 2am EST:

Issues Addressed:

* • Resolved several issues with parties getting disbanded unexpectedly.

* • Updated handling for UPnP-enabled routers to improve matchmaking conditions where users had strict or moderate NAT types. Also added in-game communications so that all players are aware of their NAT type in the Player Match party lobby.

* • Addressed issue that prevented the “Load MP by Default” option from saving when other specific option combinations were set.

* • Prevention of exploit that allowed players to keep custom classes and killstreaks after prestige.

* • Addressed an issue where Flak Jacket Pro would not always protect against ground fires left by Napalm Strikes.

* • Prevention of users losing their killstreak reward when switching classes at the start of a new round in round-based game modes.

* • Addressed an issue where the incorrect perks would appear when spectating another player under certain circumstances.

* • Added round start explosive delay to China Lake grenade launcher to give it the same round start limitations as other explosives.

* • Contracts will now reset when the player Prestiges.

* • Prevention of Valkyrie rocket exploding upon release under rare conditions.

* • Prevention of Gunship and Chopper Gunner failing to give player full control under rare conditions.

* • Prevention of an issue where a player will get teleported outside the map boundaries under very specific circumstances.

* • Additional security measures to enhance detection and banning capabilities.

Gameplay Tuning:

* • Limit the ability to re-roll supply drops using Hardline Pro to Care Packages only, no other killstreak drops.

* • Added a negative influencer to all spawn points to decrease the chances of spawning near an enemy. This will further improve spawning protection on top of previous updates.

* • Additional sound mix tuning for Ninja Pro users – increased ranges and volume of enemy footsteps, and removed player footstep sounds on concrete material types.

* • Increased headshot multipliers for sniper rifles. Sniper rifles with suppressors equipped will now always be ensured one-shot kill headshots.

* • Subtle increase in sniper rifle accuracy when scoping in.

* • Added a render delay to the red diamond player indicators that appear when controlling the Gunship, Valkyrie Rocket and Chopper Gunner. When a player first spawns, this will not appear for a period of time.

* • Additional minor reductions in knife lunge.

also, while i was playing today i noticed that all equipment and anything that can be picked up again, eg tomahawk, has a picture/symbol of it when saying "press X/ square to pick up"

Update 1: There has been the addition of a dolly cam to theater viewtopic.php?t=4073 [thanks to Psych0kill3r]

Bots have been added to the options emnu in split screen [Thanks to ccm404e]

Update 2: New Store added to multiplayer menu (you must be online) whihc contains all the stuff from the XBL market and PSN store (for future dlc) [Thanks to me]

Plus, go on Split Screen and you can add bots. That means you can use anything. Cause you have everything unlocked in Split Screen, you can use Gold Camo against bots! How freakin awesome is that?

Probably more than Infinity Ward ever patched last year...

But I'm not going to start that up again.

So glad Treyarch are already noticing all these little bugs and fixing them, shows just how dedicated they are to pleasing the community :)

WOW THE PATCH MADE THINGS WORSE :( :evil: :( :twisted: i havnt been able to get into match yet for more than i minute keep getting connection inerupted and closed lobbys wtf

OMFG, ALL I WANT THEM TO FIX IS THAT GLITCH WHERE YOUR RC CAR EITHER....

- EXPLODES UPON RELEASE OR....

- FLIPS UPSIDE DOWN AND GETS STUCK UNDER THE GROUND!!!!

1.04 was SUPPOSED to fix that stuff. What it actually fixed was making sure that the game is basically unplayable on PS3. Way to make things worse, Treyarch. It's no wonder you were never a top developer.

I have had the same experience post patch as I have pre-patch (Which is good)

Too bad you can only re-roll care packages :(

Meh, makes the game more enjoyable. Don't have 3 Enemy Chinooks in the air anymore for people that try and re-roll every killstreak (SAM, Sentry, and Care Package) :)

I now can't play a single multiplayer game without a 'lost connection to host' or 'Timed Out' message appearing. Treyarch better fix this soon, I'm disappointed!

i lol'd when an emey tryed to do tha\t, he kept clikc x then i killed him and stole oall of then :twisted:

I can't even play zombies anymore after the patch on PS3. Whoever is not hosting the game has horrible lag and freezes up. It gets progressively worse as the rounds get harder, and goes into full on freeze about round 15. NEVER had any problems with it before the patch.
