IT IS ABOUT COD

LOOK AT THE DESCRIPTION...

"# Is it based on the video game?

# Yes, however unknown which of the games and to what extent.

# Will it be about Modern Warfare or World War 2?

# The project does not have a script. However, given that Modern Warfare 2 is one of the best selling games of all-time, producers would probably favor the Modern Warfare storyline."

Personally, I hope that if they do make a Call of Duty Movie, We would get a Zombie movie if anything. Just think about how cool it would be to show the personal lives of the characters and then the whole experiments and the things at Der Riese. Then the outbreaks and time travel. It would be so crazy. And now that we are getting things at a zombie cosmadrone just think about all of the possible expansions.

yeah I would rather see a COD: Nazi Zombie movie rather than a movie based on COD. think about this for a minute.

1: If based on WWII, they would be redoing what has already been done over and over again. There are a plethora of WWII based movies, documentaries, mini-series and so on and this will just be another brick in the wall.

2: If based on Modern Warfare, again already been done over and over but not as much as WWII though. Still, point is, it has been done and there is not really much to do and chances are that like most movies based on video games that the characters would be badly portrayed and/or poorly casted, i.e. Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, Mario Bros,. etc. I still have yet to see the Tekken or King of Fighters movies on fear of it ruining the series for me.

3: If a movie based on Nazi Zombies, there would be a more compelling storyline, more mystery, more humor (thanks to the hatred yet will to survive amongst our heroes and Nikolai, of course) and will just make an all round better movie in my book, IF DONE RIGHT! If it can't be done right and closely reliant on the fundamentals of the game, then it ain't worth SHIT! Hollywood should NEVER think about having a movie adaptation of a game w/o consultation from people who will actually watch it: the gamers that have played the game.

Sorry had to let off some steam. I think for the most part there should be a separation of Game and Movies.
