I noticed this before, too, but i thought it looked like XIIV. Now that's not a proper Roman numeral, so I separated the characters to get X I I V, which when made into digits is 10 1 1 5, or 10115. I proceeded to google this number and it turns out that 10115 is a Manhattan zip code AND a Berlin zip code (or Berlin's equivalent to a "zip code"). This seemed extremely coincidental to me because of the whole "Manhattan Down" thing and the fact that Kino is in Berlin.
