jacob404 Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 this tard is thinking of the ammo-matic it was designed to be in der riese, and they put a poster in shi no numa to hint at it, and were giving hints towards it... They than removed it from der riese due to bugs, and its over-powered effect on game play. They decided they would work out the bugs and implement the ammo-matic with some "cons" on the next map. So, they put another poster of it on der riese... *From here on its a theory, not confirmed* After the design of kino (which was supposed to be WaW DLC), they felt that the machine did not fit well with kino's game flow/map design. After realizing that the map would be the first for black ops, and their map devolepment for five, they realized the machine could not be implemented properly. They scrapped the designs, and began work on new machines. (new perks for ascension) 8-) *Edit* Can you explain deeper into what a 'Max Ammo Perk' could be, because I for one am extremely confused on this topic. The "Ammo-Matic" would not have been a perk. It was a machine. You would go up to the machine and "buy max ammo" for 10k points(guess)... When you bought it, your whole team would get all ammo back, etc. They made it have a 1 round cool down... But it still was too much, since if you had dogs every 5 rounds, you could get max ammo every 2 rounds in higher rounds... Lemme know if you got any other questions. ;)

However, if it had... oh lets say a 8 round cool down.. That would be fair for Shi No Numa, because you can't PaP for more ammo, and you cant really spin the box during the round... Der riese was already easy enough to get ammo... 1- keep a ray gun not upgraded up til your round 35 dogs(could be round 33,34,36,37; but for the example im using 35) 2- you get max ammo from them 3-use your ammo 4-upgrade raygun on like round 38 (usually during the round when you run out) 5-the fresh ammo lasts until the round 40 dogs (than you get more ammo) 6- put raygun back into box when you have crawlers and are low on ammo, than get it back (usually round 42) 7-Repeat steps 3-6 If you want to make the Ammo-Matic not over powered, and wanted to implement it on Ascension... Well, it would be very possible. I have a way that would make it fair. Im about to go post a topic on it! :D
