Disc unreadable???

Has anyone been getting a lot of Disc Unreadable errors? My disc isn't very scratched or dirty, and I am getting the scratches fixed in a bit. But has anyone been getting this error for no reason lately? Any help would be awesome. Thnx.

No scratches or something else and it won't read the disc. :x

I found the problem. The case cracked my disc. The small circular thing that holds the disc in place has a small lip on each side of it. It was probably so it could hold the disc better, but it's side effect is that it cracks the disc. A LOT.

i get this alot on ps3. i thought my blu ray was knakerd but if i stick mw2 in it loads straight up. maybe they just used cheaper disc's which wouldn't surprise me

mine load eventually tho do yours?

I have had one instance when I switched from a DVD to Black Ops. It did not read the disc, so I just ejected it, then closed the tray, and it was fine.

Also, I have my game installed to my hard drive. I am pretty sure it cuts down on unreadable disc errors.

My MW2 is one year old and i havent got any errors yet... same thing with my other games. you just dont keep good care of it.

i have never had a problem with mw2 either only blops i can either keep ejecting and putting my blops disc in or just load mw2 quit it then stick blops back in and it will load straight up. but my discs if they aint in my ps3 they are in there case on my shelf i like to think i do take care of my discs they aint cheap
