My theory for the end of the Easter Egg

Disclaimer: I haven't even done the easter egg yet, I never get people who have any idea how to do it.

But what I personally think is that the end is inaccessible right now. As in it is impossible to actually finish it.

Why? Well, because not everyone can play with it yet. I think it probably will be unlocked shortly after the PS3 gets its release of the map, that way the two separate communities can enjoy completing the hunt together.

Besides, they could easily put in the "key" to unlock it when they patch the glitches, so I don't think its all that far fetched.

I'm with you I personally don't think it's gonna be solvable until March 3rd. I just don't see how no one on Xbox has solved it by now. Some people claim they have, but yet have no footage or proof, so I'm hesitant to believe it. I think they wanna give everyone a fair chance to solve it.

I think two things can happen.

1 You guys are indeed right, there will be a patch and the story continues

2 The story continues in the next map, if that's the case the story in ascension will be a big bummer. there are (again) more questions then answers.

well the story is going to continue regardless, I can't believe that they would leave an easter egg in one map unfinished. But I really do like the idea of either unlocking it, or even putting patches that add minor easter eggs at a later time

For example, I wish they put a couple little new things in the "classic" map rerelease. Maybe they did, I don't have them.

You guys are right it's unfair to ppl like me ( ps3) to not be able to do this. But instead of a patch ( this would be better) since xbox ppl got first strike first what if ONLY ps3 ppl could end the easter egg.

First of all,Its not unfair. microsoft paid Activison to get it first.

Second of all,you are biased because you own a PS3 and you think its the best.

So no,PS3 people shouldnt only be allowed to end it.

I've got a ps3, I just prefer shooters on xbox. But it would be very dumb if only one system was allowed to finish it, it would make a lot of people upset

that's the stupiest idea ever. do you really think that it's legal for teyarch to do against xbox? they have a contract with microsoft to get the map pack earlier then the other consoles. i don't think the agreement was that they get half the map.

I dunno if its only that PS3 can solve it, only that it will remain locked for the xbox until it is released on PS3. Then its a freeforall, anybody can solve it as they wish

It wouldn't put aside any differences. I have both systems and would still feel the same. The better players are on XBOX. XBOX is the better of the two for gaming. PS3 is a great blu-ray player. PS3 is great for free internet porn on the Big Screen.

I'll take the PS3 for any games except shooters actually. Even then, the biggest reason is just the lack of shoulder guards

I wouldn't discredit the PS3 so much, it's more that just a Blu-ray player. They've got some amazing games like Metal Gear Solid 4, and Uncharted 2 was sick too! Gran Turismo 5 is an absolutely stunning game. Although I will agree with you, I think Xbox takes the cake for FPS. I know the PS3's gaming disk has alot more storage space, so it's definately got potential to make one badass shooter!
