Sirius2045 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Well you're lucky that your leaderboards are fixed. I just finished a game and it overwrote my high score with a lower one still. The matchmaking seems to be a vast improvement though and I'm quite happy with that.

This change includes settings that are tunable in the live environment, so tweaking may continue beyond initial release of this update. The in-game store now hides DLC map packs that do not match the language of the player's disc to decrease the possibility of users downloading the incorrect language version. Calling in a Chopper Gunner immediately after getting shot down in a Gunship will no longer end the Chopper Gunner run prematurely. Requires timing-specific button presses. Split-screen players are now able to change camera perspectives and cycle through players as a spectator. Issue addressed where the most recent match played in Zombies could overwrite the best match played on the leaderboard. Improved Zombies lobbies to prevent players from erroneously receiving the error "Unable to join game session" under certain circumstances. Addressed a number of community-discovered Zombies gameplay exploits. Additional security feature updates.

The matchmaking is better definitely, but the leaderboards are far from fixed and I would rather that issue be fixed than the matchmaking.

Will they release another one some time after it's been out for the other consoles or what? Idk but it just seems too fast to release another TU so soon.
Undead Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Hopefully they will/have also fixed the sensitivity and clan tag glitch I keep getting while playing split screen. (second player will usually 'abduct' first players sensitivity and clan tag settings).

The big change is an update to the matchmaking system, the feature which pairs you up with other, similarly skilled players in competitive matches and Treyarch will now be able to tweak the matchmaking without having to submit changes for a proper title update. There's also been some "additional sniper rifle tuning" on the Multiplayer front. The zombie mode gets a healthy dose of fixes as well, including the removal of an aggravating bug which updates the leaderboards after each match regardless of how it ranks against your overall performance so now instead of your 50 round Zombie killing spree being replaced by your 5 round error, the leaderboard will now automatically show your highest reached round. Strwrsbob Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 For the people saying the leaderboard was not fixed, does it still save your recent game? it won't revert back to your highest score if it got overwritten. The patch releases for PS3 with First Strike. I'm also glad to see they fixed the glitches, everyone wanted me to F'ing buy a lander so they could go glitch.... :roll:

I played with a GOOD player last night, we played a few matches then showed me the glitch. It was a let down when he did it, as out-right he's a good player and he'd let this get in the way of him being a player worth knowing...

[brains] I'm pretty sure there are rules against glitching on this forum.

Explaining how, admitting a strategy of doing it yourself and explaining there-in or demonstrating video of how.. but not saying you played with people that did or being disgruntled about people doing it.. I wish they'd just patch it all the way :/ Once lander is above a certain height insta dmg that kills anyone near it's edge.. but above head lvl to avoid killing people just running around..
