The runaway care package!

So the other day i had a care package, i then pressed left on the D-pad and had the smoke grenade in my hand, but didn't throw it and i got killed.

Then when i spawned again, i didn't have the care package any more...

Anyone else had this problem before?

Yea, you died with it in your hand, so you lost it.

Not a glitch, that's just how the game is played.

seriously i thought that was only with the grim reaper and death machine that bullshit.

No, its not like what Xieon said. You can switch weapons while holding the marker and you will still have your package.

This probably happened to do lag compensation.
