Game freezes whenever a lot is happening

I've been playing ascension since it came out without a, but all of a sudden today while I was playing around level 25 in with 2 other people my game started slowing down constantly. Whenever someone would fire a lot of bullets into a bunch of zombies my game would slow down a lot. If someone threw a gersch that killed a bunch of zombie my game would slow down then slowly get back to normal speed. Same thing with using a trap. It's been very frustrating because we have to quit because my games slows down beyond being playable. Would anyone happen to know what's going on with my game? I was thinking about maybe restoring my PS3 but wasn't sure if that would do anything.

yea. i play on pc and 360 and the same thing happens. its because the fps is lower on ascension than it is on kino and "five" . no thier is no way fix unless they make an update.

I'm on Xbox and mine doesn't do that. I'v seen videos, but not me.

Well yeah a game will lag if its alot to process but just make sure your not claymore stacking as it is the most common cause because when theres about 10 claymores out it can lag alot fi you add another item to the mix and even more will crash it completely.
