trapper14 Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 the guy said that the new map would highlight sniping right...well usually snipers only work until level 15 or so.... then they suck ass. So what if that new perk, and this is only a theory, didn't home in on headshots. I think they may have made the park so that the whole body takes the same amount of damage as a headshot. that way you could kill them way longer. And maybe that new sniper that we see is actually really good till level 30 or so with the perk, then you have to pack a punch it and it stays good till level 50 or something ....just a tought...headshot auto aim would be stupid..
LiamFTWinter Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 But people are using that perk with m16 ect, they don't have snipers. :S So why would they waste their points on a perk that's made for sniping? The perk is most likely steady aim.
Anti Earth Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 No offense Trapper but... Your inference makes NO SENSE whatsoever. You're saying they are down-grounding the complexity of the damage system? To promote sniping? Even though it would be a demotion? ... EDIT: Oh wait, I see what you did thar! The perk would effect the damage system. Hmm, It's possible, but very unlikely. Perks usually show their effects, Your proposal would break this pattern. It would make more sense if the perk caused the autolock onto heads.
trapper14 Posted April 29, 2011 Author Posted April 29, 2011 It wouln't only work for snipers... It would helP with all weapons... But snipers especially because of their low fire rate and crapiness after a certain level...
Anti Earth Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 It would still be a stupid perk. If it DID allow for the stomach to have the same damage as the head, if people shot at the stomach instead, they'd get less collatoral kills. When the zombie died, it would fall and still absorb bullets (wasting them) whilst falling. If you're aiming at the head, you avoid this dilemna. So this perk would promote this dilemna, unless you shot at the head (MAKING IT OBSOLETE) Thus: Perk DOES NOT make all body parts equal in damage as heads.

You're saying they are down-grounding the complexity of the damage system? To promote sniping? Even though it would be a demotion? ... I'm saying it would technically be like strong stopping power that evens out the damage on th whole body so that you don't have to get headshots to easily kill them...and it would apply to all weapons.. ...like I said... Just a thought...
LOLOLOLOL Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Well sniping is about accuracy so i guess they would want you to be aiming for headshots, so maybe the new perk increases the damage dealt if you get a headshot? In the video it seemed whenever someone got a headshot it was alot more powerful than on other maps :)
Lizizadolphin Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 all I know is that I managed to get the picture of the little perk, but it became all messed up when I tried to make it larger, but either way, it's an image of what looks like a dummy or a person with a sight aimed at their head
TaylorGangSoFly Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 his perk idea was a good thought but it just doesn't make sense
