There is an achievement which says " send the crew to paradise "

We found that our old crew is trapped inside a room.

Now he's were my theory comes into play.

On the floor right below the power is a control room were there's a radio and if you click X it makes a noise.

Now that noise it makes is 4 pitched noises.

In the lighthouse there are 4 buttons, and if you click x they turn and a noise is made.

Now on the radio there is the " numbers " that are found all thorough blacks ops relating to the NOVA gas.

And the " COTD " map reminds me of the mission were your on a boat and you see your partner get locked into a gas chamber.
